hi scylla
Sweeney's Revenge
i edited slightly due to my mistake!
((I hope I did this right! >_< ))
The air that night was thick and heavy, weighing down on the heart like lead. Kallichore was familiar with this feeling. The fog surrounding the park was an excellent clue that something terrible was happening, and the eternal senshi could not help but investigate. Soon, the inky blackness was engulfing the entire park, threatening to choke everyone inside.
Landing nearby a familiar face, Kallichore gave Scylla a brief nod before being alerted to the intended target. Next to her stood... a Dark Mirror Senshi. This was someone she recognized, but knew she wasn't a Dark Mirror when they met... hmm... The shadowy creature ahead of them broke that chain of thought rather quickly.
"Ah, so this is what I was feeling..."
And they'll devour you, as well.
That notion was also familiar - the same dread Kallichore remembered feeling as a Super Senshi, staring down Death and Betrayal Incarnate as Ares, then Queen of the Dark Mirror, beckoned her to succumb. Shaking her head, Kallichore thought it odd that this creature would use madness so easily as she herself did.
She spoke to it, quietly, though she knew it could not hear her. "Ah. Two can play at this game." A kick straight for what she believed to be its midsection was met with only slight resistance. Perplexed, Kallichore did several backflips to distance herself from its writhing form. Perhaps it would be immune to her magics if it was so easily influencing those around it?
Oh for the love of -- "I mean if you have to blame someone, then fine. But I didn't hear anything about unleashing an ugly monster to destroy anything so -- "
But they were going to blame the Dark Mirror Court, so the only thing that could be done about that was to take it. It was a mirrorwraith, and the easy thing to do was blame. And right now it really looked like the Dark Mirror Court was the one who deserved that blame. It was -- admittedly -- hard to ignore the logic. But if there was a plan like this in place, first of all Remarque would have been adamently against it. Secondly, Acubens would have been clued in, right?
Why bother telling a screw up like you?
Alright, enough of that. If she was going to prove herself to anyone, she had to fight. And that was what she intended to do. She'd be wasting her breath doing anything else. So she hoisted her make-shift mace high again and called out the name of her attack again, this time trying something a little different. Mid stride, about halfway to the beast, she kicked off, leaping into the air and aiming for it's ugly a** face.
"This is for giving us a bad name!"
The mace connected satisfyingly with it's face as Acubens sailed past, landing behind the creature triumphantly.
Ara was surprised when a certain guardian cat jumped between herself and the reaper. "Mr. Hania!" She exclaimed in shock and surprise. She also noticed Scylla appear on the scene.
She bent down and scooped Hania into her arm. Stretching out her free arm she shouted. "Ara Luminescent Starshine!" A mote of irridescent light formed in her hand and fire at the strange monster.
She ran over to Scylla's side with the cat bundle in her arms, she wasn't going to leave her kitty friend in harms way after all.
"Miss Scylla do you know what that thing is? It's not a youma right?" She asked the older woman when she got to her hoping for some answers.
Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos: 65/70 Stage: Third Madness: 5/100 Attack: 3 Boss HP: 329/400 Spell: Offensive
Hyperborea arrived on the scene and saw a strange creature before her. It was not a youma that much she was certain of. Is it a mirror wraith? She wondered as she surveyed the others fighting it, there was a decent number of order fighter but there was also dark mirror senshi fighting. That must mean this is not a mission of theirs.
Her eyes landed on an eternal dark mirror, figuring she would be the best person to try to get information from. As she smacked the creature with her staff. "Hey do you know whats going on? Why isn't that thing under control, and where is Prince Remarque?" She called out to the eternal (Acubens).
You'll fail to save them just like you've failed to save everyone else. She heard a voice taunt her in her head but she shook it off. Does it have mind manipulation powers? She wondered, it would be bad if it did.
Dark Mirror Eternal Sailor Acubens: 60/70 Stage: Etrnal Madness: 10/100 Attack: --- Boss HP: 329/400 Spell: Attack +2
Acubens was, at the moment, leaning heavily on her weaponized lamp, catching her breath. It wasn't as bad as when she was only a super senshi, and two of those attacks would leave her gasping for air but it was still pretty exhausting. But at the sound of Remarque's name, she perked up and looked around for the source. Was he here? Fighting alongside her brother would be ideal but... there was no sign of that ridiculous top hat. It took her a moment to realize that someone had been speaking to her. She straightened herself up and ignored the burning in her legs and lungs.
"I don't know about either of those things. As far as I know, Remarque is not here, and I have no idea what's happening. Just that this b*****d is breaking my home and that's unacceptable."
She looked up at the creature again, noticing it slowing down even if it was just a little. Many hands make littler work after all, and they were all going to town as best as they could on that sunuvabitch.
"Acubens, by the way. Pleased to fight next to you!"

DM Sailor Sadalsuud: 50/50 Stage: First Madness: 0/100 Attack: n/a this post Boss HP: 329/400 Spell: Healing: (+5 to HP)
Normally the number of Order auras would have been enough to ensure that Sadalsuud avoided the area...
Because Order auras made her remember her encounter with the boy that had attacked her–
And whilst the black eye that he had given her had gone, her memories of the encounter had not.
And there seemed to be a lot of Order auras out and about in the general vicinity of the Grand Floral Park for some reason this evening.
There was also something else however - something other than the Order auras or the few Chaotic auras that she was picking up on...
And it was something that called to her - something that made her want to investigate in spite of the Order auras that brushed uncomfortably against her senses as she walked through the mist in what appeared to be in the correct direction.
She was not expecting the wraith - and the thing perched a top the fountain ]resembled the wraith that she used to gather energy for the Court - only it was bigger...
It was almost disheartening how little damage her attack did to the creature. It hadn’t even flinched from the attack, and others were beginning to make their move on it as well. Attack after attack seemed to do little to the monstrosity as it continued to reach out with it’s fog, draining everything it could touch. It was like a machine, a machine designed for one purpose only. Hy-Brasil just wondered if that energy it was harvesting was for itself or if there was a mastermind at work behind it? Funny how no agents were around…
Stupid b***h. You’re good for nothing!
The obviously masculine voice came out of nowhere and was vaguely familiar. Blue eyes looked around for anyone who might have said it, by no one was around. No one who she thought would say such things. Plus there was only one person here she recognized and that was Scylla. No one else seemed familiar and that voice was...had it been her ex, Matthew?
She didn’t have time to debate that. Whatever it was was gone and Hy had a bigger fish to focus on.
Dodging the fog, Hy made sure to give herself enough room to get a running start before launching herself at the wraith again. It wasn’t as strong of a hit this time as the last, but she still managed to land of blow on the corporeal wraith. The shock of the hit ran up her arms, but she didn’t let it knock off her momentum as she sailed past it, just BARELY missing the fog as she landed on the grass. She stepped away, turning to look at the wraith to see if anything had been done to it.
Nope. Didn’t look like much of anything. Damn.
Jesus christ, you can’t do anything right!
That masculine voice echoed again. What the hell was going on?
Whatever it was, Hy was uninterested. She needed to help the others figure this thing out and take it down. Blue eyes landed on Scylla again and inwardly she groaned at the thought of talking to her, but it seemed the other woman she was with, a DMS, was sharing information and the better informed they all were the better off. As she approached she caught something about blaming them or something and Hy raised a brow at the accusation.
The woman ran off to attack the monster by Hy hailed the group with a quick wave as she joined them. “If anyone is blaming anyone here they have to be crazy considering we’re all here trying to stop it.” She remarked. “Note there isn’t any negaverse around.”
Anakeion: 50/60 Stage: Squire / Second Madness: 10/100 Attack: 7 + 2 = 9 Boss HP: 302/400 Spell: 1/2 Attack, using one for +2 to damage
"DO YOUR BEST," Anakeion screeched right back at Scylla, twirling her staff between her hands with more than a little but of unnecessary flair and then slamming it right back into another tentacle -- but before she did it, this time, she cracked her knuckles and let the ice flood up her forearms and freeze her hands to the staff for a little extra oomph.[ Slamming it down, with all the strength in her arms --
giving us a bad name, can't follow directions -
"What the hell," the Squire called out, quieter, furrowing her brow. "What -- ?"
Both cat and chibi looked equally horrified at the prospect of Etoile being locked away and being fed only dry cat food, and Lepus backed away from Anakeion, reaching up to hold onto Etoile protectively.
"You can't do that," she protested, as if Anakeion couldn't just as easily overpower her and take the kitten anyways, "I'll... I'll sue you- or something!"
"I can't live on dry cat food!" Etoile whined, horrified at a future without sweets. Neither of them addressed the issue of how Lepus would explain away any potential injuries to her mother, and Lepus had no intentions (still) of leaving, either.
Realizing Scylla was there, too, after the squire had called attention to her, Lepus waved to the eternal, keeping a protective grip on Etoile with her other hand.
"We can take care of ourselves, really!" Lepus insisted.
Scylla: 60/70 Stage: Eternal/Third Madness: 10/100 Attack: 1d12 - Not Attacking Boss HP: 302/400 Spell:1/2 Attack, 1/1 Defense Available
"Kallichore." Scylla looked over to her former Court Member in some relief, reassured to see someone else she could (hopefully) trust to have her back through this. There were people she did intend would not get hurt, despite their best efforts in being here. Another familiar face bolstered her against the whispering doubt in her mind, and she sucked in a cold breath of air, heavy.
Tilting her head to eye Acubens, she thought she had missed something. "Do you really have that level of communication though, really? Watch out Acubens, we're unleashing the soul-ducking monsters today. I always expected it was more of a vague daily expectation, like it seems to be in the Negaverse. Cloudy, with a chance of energy drain." At least the DMC seemed to be more successful in her assault on the creature than Scylla herself, who was grazing the creature with some lack of magnificence.
Her eyes landed on more people arriving on-scene, biting nervously into her lower lip as she considered each of them carefully. Many of them looked effectively getting down to business, and Scylla felt her shoulders relax, trying to settle her mind against the growing discomfort.
"I did notice that, Hy-Brasil," Scylla mused, and gave the tall, lovely squire a warm smile. "Using a youma designed to look and act like a Mirror Wraith might be an attempt to divide the two non-Negaverse senshi factions even further down the line, since there have been several examples of them working together lately. Or worse, this is their attempt to make something... even worse. Do they have mad scientists in the Negaverse who might try and merge a youma and a mirrorwraith somehow? It could account for the difference. Then again, maybe we've just got a special case."
The knight- a Castor Knight, it looked like, screamed at Scylla to do her best. "Aye Aye," she muttered, and cracked her knuckles. Her display so far had been anything but a personal best.
"Lepus, Etoile, I'm sure you can take care of yourself, but if you need me, scream really loudly. I'm about Zero Percent willing to let you guys get hurt, and I have plenty of hands to lend. Or, arms. Limbs? Tentacles? Whatever." Scylla gave them a grin that clearly said she knew she had made a terrible attempt at a joke, and watched it fall off the cliff.
Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos: 60/70 Stage: Third Madness: 10/100 Attack: 8+2=10 Boss HP: 292/400 Spell:Offensive
Hyperboea nodded at the dark mirror's introduction. "Hyperborea of the Cosmos. It's a pleasure to meet you." She responded polietly before she turned her gaze to the wraith in question. She would definitely be tracking Remarque down after this, she had some serious questions for the top-hat'd prince.
She wasn't sure what to make f the wraith, it seemed to have some sort of mind altering abilities and the fog it was producing seemed dangerous. There was only one thing she could do at this point and that was measure its strength and intelligence.
"Everyone close your eyes for a second." She yelled as the top of her staff glowed silver. As she raised it up into the sky the area was filled with bright silver starlight. She Dispelled her magic quickly so that it wouldn't hurt her fellow fighters. She moved quickly getting in close to the monster and swinging her crystal wings into the blinded wraith.
I'm going to assume that Acubens is within earshot between Hyperborea and Scylla, that way she can communicate with both

Dark Mirror Eternal Sailor Acubens: 60/70 Stage: Eternal Madness: 10/100 Attack: --- Boss HP: 292/400 Spell: Attack + 2
Scylla's question drew her attention so that she almost missed Hyperborea's instruction. It wasn't until the light began to shine and she looked directly ******** at it that she realized what she was supposed to do. She ducked in time, but that didn't stop the sun spots from blocking her vision. she blinked rapidly to clear them, swaying dangerously without the support of her vision.
"We communicate with compact mirrors -- predictable, I know -- but if something were to go down, they'd tell us on those. We try to take care of our own..." There was no malice in her voice and given their last meeting, she was very careful as she chose her words. "We're all we've got. We wouldn't just summon a monster and not warn each other. That's also why we drain. To sustain each other. Like going to the store. You need to fill the fridge with fruits and veggies to feed your family. We fill our fridge with energy to sustain our family... okay it's more complex than that, but it's kinda hard to organize my thoughts right now given -- " She swooped her arm out towards the monster in a large motion. "We're trying to build a home here. We wouldn't break it. I can't have it so no one can is a very... negaverse... thing. We're chaos, I'll give you that. But not negaverse."

DM Sailor Sadalsuud: 45/50 Stage: First Madness: 5/100 Attack: 6 Boss HP: 286/400 Spell: Healing: (+5 to HP)
Sadalsuud sensed the familiar chaotic aura of another Dark Mirror senshi in amongst all the Order auras and made a beeline towards it.
Order auras made her.. Uncomfortable... But she trusted in Dark Mirror auras - and the one that she was picking up on felt like a strong one.
It meant passing through more of the swirling mist, shrouding the park and meant getting closer to a couple of the Order auras - but maybe it would be okay as long as she kept by the source of the Dark Mirror aura.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
As it turned out, it also meant getting closer to the huge wraith, as the source of the aura - a curly haired Dark Mirror senshi - was somewhat between a dark-haired woman with what looked to be tentacles coming from the back of her outfit and a white-haired girl who looked to be a little younger than her who was–
Who was yelling out something about closing eyes...
Sadalsuud didn't - although she did raise a hand to cover her green eyes which was enough for her to miss the worse of the bright silvery light that suddenly flooded out.
She still blinked a little as she picked up a stone and moved close enough to throw it awkwardly at the wraith–
It's for her own good... The words were a quiet whisper. Maybe she'll go back to...
Sadalsuud frowned slightly, her green eyes slightly puzzled as she shook her head slightly before sidling a little closer to the curly-haired Dark Mirror senshi.
This whole thing was new to him and seeing this fight was rather uncomfortable. The dark mirror senshi found himself moving around, drifting, unsure of what to do or where to go. He'd yet to be in a fight and yet here he was...and there was that big wraith like thing. He was doing his best to avoid the dark fog as he moved about. Finally he settled for moving closer to a small group of senshi who all seemed to have a clue...and be able to fight.
It was a wild looking eternal dark mirror that he spotted first which drew him closer. Shy and rather unsure of what to say, or do, he approached slowly. Listening first, rather than interrupt, he listened to Acubens talk about communications and mirrors. "So...umm...no one knows what this is or how it came here?" Build a home here...weren't they already home - like everyone else though? This was already everyone's home...some were just trying to ruin it, as far as he figured things.
He hadn't used his magic yet, he hadn't had a situation yet where he had to, but he wanted to help...this thing wasn't any good, he could feel that well enough. It was by instinct and nothing else that he reached up towards his own head of dark hair and rather than plucking a hair he plucked what looked like a hair but wasn't as it glowed green. Calling out two words "Gorgon's strike" a green light rushed out from the strand of green glowing hair. He'd had to step in close to the wraith like creature, within six foot, something he sort of just...did.

Shy little dmc looking for peoples to be with and fight with right now. Also, not sure who else is close by.
Pixie Nyxie
Magic:
Sailor Scout Attack: Gorgon's strike. Reaching up, with either his right or his left hand, and from his hair he will pluck a "hair" that glows green. The green glow will rush forward from the hair in his hand toward his target, someone within a six foot radius of Kiuchi. If the beam of green light does in fact hit the target, or someone who puts themself in the line of fire. They will then start to feel mildly nauseous and unwell, including possible blurring vision. Nothing too serious, of course. This will last for thirty seconds and can be used three times in battle. During this time being more active, or other outside things, may enhance the nauseous feeling.
