Giulia was simply precious in all of her antics, and Shiloh had the slight suspicion that the little girl truly believed that her darling Melody had chosen her new home. It was a sweet thought, for certain.
He watched in silence as the little one walked right in, straightened up her doll, then placed her in the sleeping arms of another. When she came back out, Shiloh couldn't help but reach out and give her hair a good, neat little ruffle.
"Yes, Yes he does! But I bet one day he's just gonna wish for a Guili-elf to help him! She is the best helper ever! And she deserves a big ol' reward! I think it's time for a snack now, what do you think? I was told they have very nice cakes in the cafeteria today. Maybe we can find your guardian and we can all have some cake while we tell her about how good of an elf you were today. How does that sound?"

Shiloh-Santa ruffled her hair, and Giulia beamed happily up at him, blue eyes wide with childish joy and delight. Melody was happy, all the little kids were happy, Shiloh was no longer crying, and all was right with the world. How could there be anything better than a moment like this, when everyone in her sphere of awareness was content and not weepy? "I'll have to come back and deliver the rest of Melody's clothes," she confided to Shiloh, "she was very upset she didn't have her suitcase with her. It's important to have stuff from old houses when you go to new ones- don't forget where you came from." Her eyes lit at the idea of helping Santa. "Maybe I can volunteer, you know, this Christmas? Santa always goes to malls and stuff and shows up to the hospital. Santa definitely knows about today, right? maybe I can, like, be a tembareary Giuli-elf! Do you think? That would be great!" And an invitation for cake! Gripping his hand, Giulia dragged him back towards the desk, excited. "Sh- she was here for business so maybe she'll be done when we get back." the child was practically vibrating. "If not, though, maybe we can meet again next time you come? Do you give out toys a lot?"

"You're right! I'm sure the nurses won't mind seeing you again as you drop off her stuff. Can't have Melody upset, after all."
He could only grin at Giulia's excitement as she spoke of helping Santa later on this year during Christmas. It was hard to grasp just how sweet and kind this little girl was, and he truly hoped that she would remain so as she grew older. There was so many bad and scary things that could ruin any signs of hope and he wished none of that for her. Hopefully should stay safe and grow up normal...
Shaking that from his mind, he nodded to hear, giving her tiny hand a little squeeze as they headed back towards the desk.
"I try to come maybe once a month to give toys, but it depends on how fast I work. I gotta make them all, and it takes time. Maybe I can talk to your sister, and ask her if the next time I'm ready to give out some, you can come be Giulia-elf again. Lots and lots of practice until Christmas time, I think! Maybe then we can actually dress up as Shiloh-Santa and Giulia elf when we come and make a big show out of it. Ooh, and we can have cookies and snacks for all the kids too! That would be really nice, I think."

Giulia was very excited as they approached the nurse's station again, her mind full of joy and Christmas, Santa and elves. It was still early in the year- only April- but she couldn't wait to make everything just a little bit happier for everyone again. "We don't come once a month, but I could probably convince her to let me come and visit more often. Sharing is good, and making sick people smile is good." bright blue eyes lit as they shifted to take the nurse's station in view, and her sister leaning against the counter at the nurse's station, chatting comfortably with the older woman. "Maybe she will let me give you a phone number and then you can text when you are ready and we can theme our presents? Like at Halloween we give out little spooky toys?" Ugh! Ugh! She scampered happily at the man's side, considering. "I have dancing lessons and school and stuff but maybe one weekend you can show me how you make the toys? We can provide the Shiloh-Claus and Giuli-Elf outfits." Kapoodles Want to fade the RP on them going to have some cake and talk about plans for their next adventure? biggrin Another post or two?

"I think that would be wonderful. Spreading joy to others is how I find my happiness, I hope you can find yours in a way like that too. Themed toys sounds like a fantastic idea as well!" He wasn't sure just how much time he'd have in the future, but he could do his best to make enough toys for Giulia to give out every now and then. Hopefully less toys, since that would mean there were less children here in the hospital. And that was never a bad they were alright.
"You would want to lean how to make them as well? I would love to teach you, as long as your guardian doesn't mind. Before you know it, you'll be making tons and tons of toys! But first, Cake!"
Infinities Hehe, sure thing! Fin for me!

It sounded like a good way to be happy, Giulia decided. It was nicer to other people than finding a happy that only was good for you and ignored all the other people. There were, after all, lots of people who needed a little more happy in their lives. "It could be fun to learn how to make toys. Come, I'll let you meet Jada, she wants to throw parties for people to give money to the kids, but I think toys are so much better than money. And we can pick a theme for the next time we strike!"
Giulia practically spun across the floor, still holding Shiloh tightly. Grabbing her sister's hand as well, she found herself practically having to drag them, but that was okay, they were older people, and she was already bubbling to Jada about how Shiloh was going to teach her to make toys for kids and they were going to give out the toys, and the kids would get well because of the good feelings squished into the toys. But first, cake!
She didn't even bother to introduce them. Cake and toys were clearly the most important thing, here!
