Response:Archimedes started looking for a picture of a food he liked that was photographed in an artist way, he found something that combined two things he really loved watermelon and carving. Arch normally carved food, but there was something rather beautiful about seeing a watermelon carved in this fashion. The angle the picture was taken at was pretty nice too. He wondered what kinds of food the teacher liked. He had really only taken this class because he had already taken art this month and didn't want to wait another month to finish his junior class requirements so he could take senior classes.

Response: Iah loved darker colors and anything that reminded him of a night sky, so that was why he picked the complete opposite! Yellow, the color of a bright sunny day. It was so unexpected of him, but if he was to take an artistic class he should try something new. He himself wasn't an artist person, but why not try to break the norm for him? After searching for a bit, he found a picture of what appeared to be a bunch of yellow office supplies, which he found kind of ironic. Office work was seen as a gloomy and melancholy thing, so to see office supplies look so cheerful in yellow came as a bit of a shock to him. It seemed quite artistic in his eyes, so he picked it! That and it looked so organized and thought out, something he personally attached to. Art was sometimes seen as random, but this piece to him didn't seem that way at all. It had purpose, and it knew what that was.

Response: Much as she loved the academy, and all the various different races that lived there, Isabelle also missed her home. The underwater biomes were beautiful, and her photo looked similar to a few of them. Ok, so maybe it had a bit more of a ruins vibe, but that was fine! After all, there was a certain kind of beauty in something that was slowly being reclaimed by nature. Well, that was what she told the teacher after all. It sounded much better than it reminded her of home. It could be a gazebo, looking out of their biome into the vastness of the sea. That was what she told herself anyway.

Response: Oooh, a color centric photo? Well it would have to be a photo of a model, obviously. The only issue would be to pick a color for it. Elliah poured through fashion magazines (not that she wasn’t going to anyway) looking for a good choice. She found a couple different ones that looked good, but finally decided on the one of the older gentleman. The way the photographer had arranged him, and the combination of the colors in the background and his clothes meshed together really nicely. Elliah really liked the pop of pattern around his waist. It gave her some ideas for her own designs, which she hastily pulled out a couple sheets of paper to sketch out before she forgot them.

Ruby didn't really gag or grimace when she heard the assignment, but she felt the back of her throat tense a little. Food was probably the grossest thing, in Ruby's opinion, to take an artistic photo of. I have to pass this class, she reminded herself, as she walked to the cafeteria. She so infrequently showed up anyway, that she'd be lucky to pass at all. But maybe if she did well on these last few assignments, she'd receive a passing grade.
As an infected student, Ruby and the other infected were provided food that were made of not-real meat. She didn't really want to know what it was or what went into making it, because as long as it kept her fed, she was happy. Most of the time, the cafeteria crew tried really hard to make the stuff palatable for the infected, arranging it in the most creative ways they possibly could. Today, they'd made a nice little barbecue burger, with some kind of leafy green on the bottom. It still looked manufactured, but hey, at least they tried. Ruby took a table near a wall, noticing a nice wooden decor beside the table. Reminding herself of the five-second rule, she placed the burger directly on the table and snapped a photo of it, before deciding to at least attempt to dig in.

Response: Pherein and Kieran were all about their friend Baum. Sopposedly he had wanted to be a police office but after their last haunted gallows the Chimera had become more withdrawn. More taking to talk through pictures on his camera. Considering Pherein and Kieran were some of his closest friends he wanted to get to know Baum as well. Strangely enough he didn't know much about photography even considering how much behind the camera he often was. So it was obvious he was going to take the class.
Food though meant a lot of different possibilities. After all when he thought of art and food he often thought of those art pieces people made out of sugar or even fruit. So what exactly would be an artistic shot of food? There was so many different possibilities. He pondered the different choices so long that the deadline for the assignment was coming up. Eventually though Meris, his dad, had a day where he was off from touring or singing or going to class and it was here that the inspiration hit. After all seraph loved pancakes, and he always thought the syrup made interesting patterns as it slipped off the top pancake. The chocolate chips would add some artistic flare right.
With out a word the hollowed hybrid ran out of the room to grab his camera, ignore the weird looks from his family. There artistic masterpiece captured... or well maybe not masterpiece but the assignment was done.
