╠The nature of the wild is not the nature of the beast╣

Some time had passed since the strife that once engulfed Aghor and the Republic of Karst. Maybe it was just a matter of time before both revolutionaries and loyalist came to compromise the inevitable change that took place. And what of the ones whom still lingered with animosity in their soul? Nothing. They lived beyond and hid in the shadow of society contempt in silence.

The once newly established Royal Family of Aghor had begun to grow somewhat and root itself firmly in their role for the country. The King and Queen bore a Prince who held the enthusiasm of his father, yet the wits of the mother. Since then; The Umbral spirit of the Royal Guardian had been distant yet close always. For a period of time; The silhouette of the werebeast that served to protect and serve the demands of the family remained hidden. That was until the King and son prepared to depart.

"If I may speak, Your Highness. Shall I accompany them on their journey to mitigate the risk of conflicts remain to a minimum? Or shall I remain at the Queen's side until otherwise noted? I do not wish for either decision to bring neglect by my own will" spoke the neutral, graced voice of E'Vynaei. At moment's notice there was a distinct air that spelled fatality, clairvoyance, and serenity among her poise. Always prepared in mind, sound in spirit, ready in body. Eve was one to keep her options flexible for the task at hand to ensure any decision was solely for the benefit of her master and none would dare to threaten either.

Her son and husband was about to depart when her personal guard showed up. E'Vynaei had been with her through two pregnancies. She was loyal and made sure no harm came to her. "E'vynaei. Please stay we me. I am sure the boys will be okay I need someone here to fight along side me just in case something happens. You the only one I can depend on." Azela told her. "Come and walk with me and leave the boys to their own devices." Azela exited the throne room.

Upon receiving immediate instruction from the Queen to remain at her side; E'Vynaei responded promptly with a "Yes, Your Highness" as she stepped back and remained in close proximity to Azela. A foolish question on her behalf it seemed. The panther knew too well the power of the King, especially in the presence of his heir. But there were other guards within the kingdom that served to the Royal Throne so there would always be some reinforcements.

One could say that the Queen and her shadow had bonded quite well over the course of time. E'Vynaei followed after Azela as she remained silent and proceed to walk to the right rear only a couple feet away. Since all had been quiet lately; The panther was anxious enough to go traveling to seek out adventures of her own. Still, her duty was first before anything on her agenda.
