Katori giggled as her brother got inside and began the charge, " Wait for meee!" She pouted as she glanced around. Silva wouldn't be in here and Shyam was gone with their momma. Surely there had to be someone else to play with! Oh! Clapping her hands together Katori opened one of the bigger stalls, " JiJi! Let's go get my brother!"Bouncing she let the mammu pick her up as well before pointing towards the exit, " Charge!" Maybe they could race or play joust! She'd seen people with long sticks on the back of mounts before. They seemed to have fun when they bashed those weapons together. Oh, oh! Maybe they could borrow Serana's! Or she could show them how it really worked! The thought made Katori squee before she charged forward on JiJi.

Taaru and Gammu ran into the open area of the property, He looked back at Tori and said, "Haha! You can't catch us!" They ran past the side of the mansion, passing by a few sticks. "Oh, Gammu, let's play with those like the warriors that come here do sometimes." Gammu, picked up one and handed it to him. "Hey Tori," He called out. "I challenge you!" He said with the stick raised above his head.

Serana finally got to the barn, and as she went in, she watched the last direction that she saw the kids go before she retrieved Iska. From what she could see, they weren't doing anything particularly dangerous. Which is good, but they are kids... Next thing I know they could be hitting each other with sticks.
She went to Iska's stall and got opened it. "Hey, buddy, we have some kid rodeo to do..." Iska whined and got up. "I know I know, you were enjoying your nap, but as soon as this is done, I promise, I'll treat ya, okay?" She smiled at her familiar as he immediately perked up at the mention of a treat.
She hopped on him and they raced for the door to the open barn.

" We'll see about that you butt!" Katori pursed her lips in protest as she urged JiJi to run after her brother. Snow was flying around them and some of her short hair smacked into her face as the mammu began to speed up. Oh this was exciting! Even more so when her brother challenged her. " Oh you think you can win against me?!" She called back with a proud grin, " We'll see about that. Bring it Taaru!" She glanced over her shoulder for Serana before nudging JiJi with her knees, " Up, up JiJi." The youngling's grin widened as the mammu lifted a stick for her. They had to move quickly if they wanted to get in a good fight before Serana caught up. For some reason adults always hated letting them have this kind of fun. Which was pretty lame, but made Katori even more determined to challenge her brother. Raising her own stick the girl let out her own version of a war cry before urging JiJi forward, " Attaaaack!"

Taaru readied his stick and when he heard her yell attack, he yelled "Chaaaaarge!" and Gammu darted forward with a small excited trumpet. This was the most fun that he'd ever had! They got to be like warriors, and something about this made him want to be like his mommy and ride and make friends with animals. "Look out, Tori! We're gonna win!" he called out as they got closer and closer.

Serana was outside of the barn now, looking around for the kids. "Where in the world did they-" Just then she spotted them, charging at each other on mammus. It was hard to tell from this distance, but it looked like they were holding something while charging at each other. No, she was almost certain now that they were holding sticks, presumably about to joust with each other!
"Iska, go as fast as you can! We have to stop them before they get hurt!" Iska bolted as soon as she finished her sentence. He knew the urgency in her voice meant he had to get to where the action was. Luckily they were only on mammu, and mammu were quite slow creatures, unlike the janarim she was riding on. She managed to pull up beside Taaru, yank the stick out of his hands, and Iska herded the mammu away from the path of Katori. "You get down from there young man!"
She darted a stern look at Katori as well and said, "You too young lady!"

Katori giggled as her brother approached them, " Come on JiJi we can't let Taaru win!" Raising her stick she urged her mammu on who let out his own excited trumpet before charging forward. They were about to do it! Excitement made her heart race as she prepared to wack her 'weapon' against Taaru's. Victory was close at hand! She could already imagine it! Or perhaps not. Pouting, Katori glanced down at Serana with her arms crossed. " Why ya gotta ruin the fun, Serana?" She huffed before slowly slipping down the huge mammu's back, " We were just jousting." She paused thoughtfully before giving the older iceling a small smile, " Unless you wanted to show us how to do it the right way first?" As usual she was eager to play with the lance - something which none of the adults seemed to like for some reason. Why? They could carry around the cool looking weapons, but she couldn't? So not fun at all. She glanced towards Taaru with a small sigh. So much for their play fight.

Taaru felt the stick beign pulled straight from his grip, and for a second he didn't see Serana below him. He pulled the mammu to a halt and realized what had happened, and that he was about to get a scolding. "Aw, come on Serana... We were just having a bit of fun..." He heard Katori's comment about Serana's lance and joined in on the bandwagon. Maybe they could get her to show them some cool lance moves! "Yeah, Serana, why don't you show us some cool lance stuff!" He wasn't sure that making her sly comment really blunt was the right way to get her to show them, but too late now. He did hear daddy say that honesty is the fastest way to a woman's heart!

Serana gave them both a stern look, but actually considered giving them a little lance show. She didn't want to disappoint them, and if it was going to keep them out of trouble then she might as well show them. What if they start copying me? Will they be responsible enough to know not to use these moves on each other? Probably not, but she could always trick them into not trying.
"Hm... Very well, If you two want to see some REAL lance moves, then you'll have to clean up the mess you've made. That means putting these mammu back, cleaning the mess in the barn, and then I'll show you. Oh, and if you're good enough, I'll even have Iska here show you some of his stuff too. Deal?" She patted Iska's shoulder. That should satisfy them, and fix the mess.

Katori nodded in excitement as Taaru joined in. Even if he was point blank obvious at least her twin was on her side! If she could she would have hugged him when Serana seemed to give in. Though after a second the girl pursed her lips thoughtfully. It seemed like a lot of work just to get a show. Studying Serana with a knowing look, Katori finally sighed before nodding her head. " Okay, I 'spose we can do that." She smiled, " But ya gotta show us all the super cool stuff!" She glanced over at Taaru, " Ready? Let's ride back to the barn and get ready!"

"Yeah, Let's go!" Taaru rode his mammu back towards the stables and closed the gate. He hugged the mammu's trunk and said, "Thanks for the fun today Gamu!" and he walked off to clean up the mess from their mini stampede with Tori. He picked up some strewn items and helped move an overturned table upright again. He looked at his sister and said, "Come on, let's hurry! This is going to be great!" He was so excited to see Serana's lance techniques.

Serana watched them ride off back into the barn. "Well, Iska, I guess we have to prepare to put on a show." She laughed to herself then lightly flicked the reigns to make him walk towards them. She needed to retrieve her lance from the barn and make sure they had everything cleaned up.
Once they were just outside the barn, she hopped off Iska and walked inside, making her way toward where her lance was located while watching the kids clean up. "Alright, you two. Once you're done, I'll be outside waiting for you. Make sure everything is in ship-shape!" and she walked out. Well, crisis averted! She wasn't sure how, but she thought she did a pretty good job of babysitting, even if there was trouble immediately at the start of the day.

Katori giggled as she rode her mamu back to the barns. Even if she hadn't gotten to fight Taaru today at least they had fun! Maybe if there was more time after the demonstration then they could still build that snow raptrix. Grinning happily at the thought the girl watched as Taaru began to pick up items. I suppose I should too. Slipping from her mammu's back the youngling began to pick up some strewn items and get the mammu settled into their stalls. As she finished dumping an armful of fresh straw into Gamu's sleeping area Katori glanced towards Taaru, " Ready to go watch Serana?" She asked before skipping towards the entrance of the barn, " We're ready~!"

Taaru hung the bag of treats on a nail on the wall, and proceeded to follow Katori out of the door in a hurry. "Yeah, come on! Hey Wait for me!" He was super excited to see what Serana had in store for him. He and Katori had a lot of fun today, but it wasn't quite over yet!

Serana took a deep breath before starting her little spear show. She started as if she were practicing in the forest, swinging left, then right, then thrusting, twirling the lance several times, and slamming it down on the ground. She hopped on Iska and started practice jousting a log. She realized that she had gone into a battle trance and kept going, as if it were a normal training session.
When she finished, she combed a lock of hair that came loose back into line with the rest of her hair and looked towards the kids and smiled. "Well! I seem to have worked up quite the appetite. Shall we go inside and get some supper?"
She led the kids and Iska back into the mansion and proceeded to cook the four of them dinner.
