The flash of light was blinding - but warm and conforting at the same time. It felt different but not from the last teleport and when Sabine blinked her eyes to clear the light from them she was pleased to see thst the agents had fled the scene.
But they were not alone.
The large crocodillan head was connected to an oddly furry body. The remains of the duffle that had bedn abandoned was strew about the warehouse. Powder was everywhere. One of the 45lbs. weights had been bitten in half.
It turned its attention to the girls, eyes glowing as it started to open its mouth in a low, aggressive bellow.
"Uhm... Nice Youma?" Sabine hissed. "Niiice youma... no bite..."
She knew neither she or Kastra could run right then. They were sitting ducks!

A ‘powerful thing’. ‘Lost magic’... these were the kinds of words swimming in Ginger’s head, confused as she otherwise was. Along with the slow grasp that a name like Cosmos did indeed envelop quite a lot of territory…. And that as stubborn as she felt… yeah… Sabine needed helped, and then Scotty beamed them up. Or… that was about as close as it matted, because they were back in a familiar open space that made an chill run through her, though it was quieter now… outside of the youma making a wreck of the protein powder they’d left behind. At least it was the one that had taken a chomp out of Wardite. … ‘At least’. If that phrase applied to something that had bitten a weight in half and was eating the other contents of the bag, and bellowing at them.
“...Ok. You know?” She growled at the youma in a burst of frustration. “I am -REALLY- ******** tired. ROAR AT SOMEONE ELSE.”
She wasn’t sure how quickly she could move, but by god she’d beat it stupid with the part of the weight it hadn’t eaten if she had to, to keep it away from Sabine and Kastra. Then again… it looked kind of like a crocodile… maybe all she had to do was… literally shut it’s mouth. Maybe she could tie it shut with her sash….

“Thank you.” The words could not even begin to cover how Phact felt as they all stepped closer to Cosmos. It was a warm light that quickly disappeared again as they landed safely back on Earth.
Phact quickly noticed where they were and all of her senses flared. She was searching for any signs of life or auras in the darkness that was this warehouse. All that she found was a powdered covered youma glaring back at them. She wasn’t sure if she should have been scared since those jaws had eaten through a weight or nauseated by the idea of how much protein powder it had eaten. That stuff was nasty…
“Cosmos, get out of here.” Phact said sternly as she took a deep breath and felt the tension rise back in her shoulders. Her feet carried her forward, putting herself between the angry youma and the other three of her court. Holding the wand in both her hands, she angled it forward as it was one of Ginger’s bats and she was about to take a swing at it. “That thing will go through me before it takes…”
A soft, faint light began to emit out of the orb of the wand. It was a flicker at first but steadily began to grow as the orb itself began to spin faster.
In front of her, the youma seemed to calm as it eyed the orb. The low growl it had been giving off became a soft whine.
The same gut reaction that told Phact to teleport them out of there seemed to send her into a wide eyed daze. A heart beat and she blinked out of it…slowly backing up to stand at the side of her Court…her girls.
“Everyone, I don’t know why but…focus your power into the wand. I think…”She picked her eyes up and looked at the youma once more. “It’s trying to tell us something.”

Phacts words caused Sabine to nod, not questioning why. She had no need to, Phact and all the others were sisters to her. Sisters-in-battle, a link forged by blood, fire, and pain. She would lend all of them their energy with no hesitation. She knew they would do the same.
So she focused her energy, that nebulous magic within her, and funneled it much like she did when casting her magic, focusing on the symbol she innately knew to be her own.
She could feel Kastra doing the same next to her. So she tried to support more of her own weight, knowing it must be draining Kastra as much as her. She could see the sweat beading her friends forehead, could feel it beading on her own.
Her knees shook as she poured her energy into the wand, giving it all she had left. She only hoped it worked.

She hadn’t seen many youma, but she could only imagine the soft whine it gave was… unusual. And an improvement over the aggressive roar. The way it looked at the wand…
‘Lost magic’ was still ringing in her head as she tried to focus on the magic she’d summoned earlier, the one that had made Wardite claw at his own face wildly. She was the senshi of tattoos, and it was, she imagined, not a magic for the weak hearted. That made her happy, like the colors in her skin, the memories they represented, and the family around her now, like the marks on the strange new wand. Her freinds, part of her family, and their magic. She had no idea what it might look like together, tattoos and doves, and peace and strategy, but even though they’d been badly beaten… there’d been a glimpse of it, the strength they had together. If they could do that well not knowing that any of this would result…
“I don’t know if you’re right… but here goes nothing… right?” ‘Lost magic’ Cosmos said… well what did it hurt to try and find out what it was? All of this was new on her anyway. And it might be painful, but it might be beautiful too.

So much had recently taken place, that Kastra found herself in a state of confusion and shock. Though here she was, staring down at that youma that had been a partner to those that had started this version of hell, and yet, she agreed with Phact. It was telling them something.
She stood beside Sabine, feeling the energy of the others funneling into the wand between them. She did what she could to do the same. She focused her power, closing her eyes and letting her calming energy flow into wand with the others'.
'Please let there be some closure to this. Anything to come of this hell has to be better than living within it.' Her words echoed in her mind, her own calming power giving her a sense of serenity, despite the panic that her body was feeling at all of this.

Cosmos did not make any effort to lash out at the youma in the scene; she was a powerful being but any amount of transport could be draining. This was far easier than carrying everyoe out of Negaspace like she had done last year, but it left her briefly disoriented. Her lack of action did not seem to work against her; she did not respond to Phact's command, but her eyes did trail to the wand that began to glow. She watched as they channeled their energy into the wand--as it focused on the youma in front of them. The change wasn't immediate; the white light envelloped the creature. It didn't seem unwilling or in pain, only surprised. And then something changed--the light changed. The form beneath it changed. The want continued to pulse with light, in sync with the creature in front of him. The light faded, slowly, and the wand returned to normal. And so did the youma--or, rather, the human it had been before the Negaverse intervened.

Phact honestly didn't know if that was her own power or the power of those around her that fed into the wand. It was even possible it was some mix of the two but did it really matter at that moment? Phact couldn't focus long on what the sensation was because her eyes were glued onto the youma before them.
She watched as the light overtook the youma, as it began to beat in time with the orb of their wand. She held her breath as both lights seemed to race in sync with each other until they both faded.
It was a slow fade, allowing her eyes to adjust back to the dimness of the warehouse which might have helped block out some of the shock that raced through her system. "Dear Lord..." Phact whispered as her hands relaxed and she gazed no longer at the youma who they had battle just hours before but at a man...
A Human.
With one hand coming to her mouth, Phact was stunned. "Did we...did this..." She couldn't get the words out.
On all fours before them, a man later in life knelt blinking at them. It was clear by his face that he didn't process right then what had just happened as he worked slowly to bring himself up. Disbelief was clear on his face as he gazed down at his hands...his body. "What..." He got out before his eyes looked up at the five woman standing there. Then they turned to the wand and fear cast through him.
"No! Stay away...stay back...I'll..." He didn't get to finish. As he backed away from the group, his foot found the ripped apart gym back. It's slick material against the cool surface of the warehouse didn't hold. In a matter of seconds he was falling back to the ground again...only this time he wasn't getting up soon.
Phact winced and glanced away as the man's head made contact with the same weight he had bitten in half as a youma. The sound was as painful to hear as it would have been to watch.
"Um...We may need to call for more help than we orginially thought..." Phact whispered to the girls before glancing back at Cosmos, a wordless Thank you passed over her eyes.

As that light faded the dark-haired senshi was left staring at the form of a human. The shock on her face only grew, her large eyes filling with the knowledge of what had just happened. Had they? Could they?
She shook her head to clear it before turning her eyes to Phact. She only just missed the man falling to the ground, hitting his head. The sound was what had caught her attention and she early panicked.
"He...do we?" She all but moved toward the man, she always the first to want to respond to someone in need. It was one of the many reasons she had taken to majoring in medical rather than music. She wanted to help others, and, though she knew that music healed the soul, there was so much she could do to heal the body.
"Phact..." She was giving the other senshi a look of concern. Dare she even go to tend to the man at this point?

Sabine could practically feel the pull of the injured man on Kastra, and with a grimace, she shifted her weight, and pulled her arm from her friend's shoulder. She did manage about a step and a half away from her before she found herself sinking to the floor in a mostly controlled fall, landing a bit rougher on her knees that she would have liked, and biting her lip hard to squelch the wail of pain that had threated to burst forth from her lips as her back suddenly flared with fire and she felt the wet-sticky blood begin to flow again.
"Kastra..." She managed through clenched teeth. "Please, make sure he's alive and didn't brain himself to death on that weight."
Sabine wasn't sure if she could see his breathing - and she'd rather not have a human death on their hands - even if they saved him from a fate worse than it.
"One of us should call a paramedic on our senshi phone - I mean it's not like they can trace the number. Give them the address and hope for the best - and then get out of here and..." She stopped talking for a moment as the world began to spin.
She was pale - had lost a significant amount of blood, and suddenly the ground was rushing up to meet her. She barely got her hands up in time to prevent her face from impacting the pavement but it was a close thing. She could feel her energy draining out of her and before she knew it, her whole body was shaking as she felt the last vestages of Sabine fade away.
Instead, Mercy now lay in the middle of the floor, pale, eyes half lidded as she tried to breath in slow, controlled breaths.
"I... think... I... need... a ER." Mercy managed through teary eyes and clenched teeth. She wasn't going to be able to move on her own - but she didn't want to try and power up again - she just... didn't have it in her anymore. "And a nap..." she added weakly, her eyelids slipping a bit more closed as she felt the warm-tiredness begin to creep up her body.

The sound of the mans head hitting the weight made her stomach do a nauseated flop, shaking her out of the increasingly tired haze in the wake of... whatever they'd just done. She'd have time to slowly unpack the impossibility of turning a monster into a confused, frightened man, but right now it was more like being in some kind of strange dream. Like she might blink and realize she was still siting on a pumpkin cart, daydreaming about making friends with the girls who had just arrived.
"We... WE did that?" She asked, shakily. And that was the possible glory and also the worst part. They did. All of it.
And then Mercy dropped. "s**t! Mercy! s**t. PHONE!" She'd lost her burner phone dialing in the initial crime, and didn't have an senshi phone. "OK. OK. Uh. NO ONE MOVE THE GUY. SOMEONE GET SOME PRESSURE ON MERCY'S CUT. Um. Um. s**t. Use the ripped up bag or something!"
Could they just... call the ER and wait with Mercy? They could claim she was the victim of some of what had gone down, right? Or did they dare move her? How far away was the nearest ER?
"******** those guys!"

Phact was about to agree with Sabine's request that Kastra check on the youma recently turned man. That was until she caught the drop of her friend out of the corner of her eye. "Sab...MERCY!" Phact's voice shook as she felt her own body release her magic. It was a bad idea because the second she dropped to her knees, the pain from the slash in her back flared to life stronger than ever. A groan came from her throat but still, she fought through it. Mercy came first. Her own needs were to come long after she made sure the rest of the court...her friends...were safe. "Mercy sweety, stay with us." Delilah called out in a panic. She knew the best thing to do at that moment was call for an ER. To call 911 for both themselves and the man laying there. Her gut said they didn't have much time. But Delilah had been a senshi for far too long. The fear of questions they couldn't answer was left ingrained in the very core of her being and she knew she had to think fast or risk them all. "Trix," Delilah finally called out gazing at the red head. "Stay powered up. I don't want to risk your foot until we need to." Delilah winced through her own movement to gaze at the two standing girls. "Use your senshi phone and call for help...we need to..." And that was when Delilah realized the biggest problem of all. She had been a fool. She didn't blame Mercy but powering down herself? They both would not leave a trail of traceable blood in the warehouse. They were stuck. There was fear in her gut as she processed everything. They could move Mercy but the risk now was growing. Without bleach or a fire, their blood was a tracer. With the man knocked out, there would be questions. Questions they were expected to answer. Red eyes glanced towards the area three hostages were held before. There had been a struggle. There had been torture of some kind... "Everyone, listen." Delilah finally said. "When help comes..." She glanced down at Mercy and gently tapped her face trying to keep her awake. "We were part of the hostages. We don't know what happened just that we were tortured by four people and when we woke up, they were gone. Keep it simple...Four girls, all grabbed coming out of my cousin's gym...wrong place, wrong time." She mentally apologized to Mathias. Then she nodded to Trix to make the call.

Kastra watched as Mercy went down. She holding back as she noted Delilah as wellas Trix go to her. It would not do to crowd the girl. So, as Delilah looked about for someone to make the call, Kastra did just that. She pulled her senshi phone from her fuku. She dialing 911 without hesitation. She waited the few short rings before the operator picked up. She explained that there had been sounds of a struggle coming from the location and that someone should send help right away. She knew that a police unit and EMS would more than likely show, so once that was finished she hung up the phone. She then replaced the item, looking to the girls there before her. She was the calm one, and yet her heart felt like it was going to leap free of her chest at any moment. "Mercy..." She bit at her lower lip, falling to her knees with the others, she powering down with a slow, shaking breath. The pain in his arm and on her shoulder hurt so much. She could hardly imagine what the others were feeling.

Mercy was both hot and cold - a very odd sensation to say the least. She was also very, very tired. Everything swam, and her eyes remained lidded, practically closed as she listened to Delilah's voice. The voice telling her to hold on - to stay with them. Soon the voice was joined by fingers tapping against her face and she let out a low, annoyed whine. "Stooop..." She drawled tiredly, her hands weakly batting the hands away from her face, the motion causing her back to spark with sudden fire and she whimpered, wanting to curl up on herself but finding that she could not. "Just let me rest, I'm so tired..." She said weakly, blinking her eyes, very heavy now. "Just let me nap till the Paramedics get here..."

"Bad idea, hon. no Naps. Naps later." Ginger protested. "Wait till later and we will do the best nap. All the pillows. And hot chocolate or something. With like a billion marshmallows. And sprinkles and s**t or something. Crazy over the top gourmet stuff." Ginger promised, though as much to herself at the thought of the stitches she might have to endure, as to Mercy, who she was much more concerned about. "And Unicorn poop cookies. They're like... rainbow and sparkly. I saw them on that pinboard site." She wanted cookies a lot more than stitches...and she wanted them to be all right more than she wanted cookies.
