"Ah, if only I knew of a few merfolk, then. I don't suppose you know of any, off the top of your head that I could ask?"

His question was a lighthearted tease as he gazed up at the beach before them. Magic existed in their world, but mermaids, unicorns and dragons belonged in the world of dreams - where they belonged. "I do enjoy coming here - the solitude provides for peaceful thinking."

Eyebrows arched as she spoke of her homeworld - or the history of it, at least.

"Gods fighting titans? Sounds like a bit of a violent bedtime story, don't you think?" Then again, what wasn't violent when it came to the war of the world between the two factions? "I'm sure man's interpretation will be different, once you actually make the journey to it."

He hesitated, adding on, "If you do, of course."

Amused, he continued to entertain the thoughtful dreaming of the young girl beside him. "Yes, I do imagine that if there were merfolk, they'd probably reside on Neptune or one of the stars surrounding her. It's only the most logical conclusion."

Sand continued to crunch under his sandals as he glanced around at his surroundings. Surely the worlds of the senshi held more history and depth to them than his simple "home" of sorts - but Elysion was never meant to be a proper home, was it?

"Like you, I only visit Elysion." He said, keeping his words guarded, "It's more of a sanctuary to rest at, as opposed to remaining here at all times. I come to watch and protect dreams in this world, whereas you fight to protect life in yours."

Tickled at her invitation, he turned to look down at the chibi senshi. "I should think that would be a wonderful adventure, seeing your planet. You'd protect me from any potential danger, I'd hope?"
