With a heavy yawn, Fellah headed back to the Lusus quarters. If he was lucky, perhaps he still had some oomph left in him for the night.
Luckily for the redblood, his work on the quarters was much better this time around.

[Unaru]

Having had a mixed performance so far, Fellah decided to check up on the fauna again. The farm troll had seemed to take well to tending to the animals. This time he sang a bit for them, just like he used to do for his own animals when he was a little kid. The water trough was a bit low, so the redblood made sure they all had fresh water as well.

Seeming to have started strong, but settled in the middle of the pack, Fellahs work ethic was solid at least. Even though he struggled a bit helping with the road, the redblood was still making sure to pull his weight. He noticed that he'd been flitting around the settlement lately. Maybe he was just still adjusting to all the projects that needed work.

Sephos Arbola

Sephos returned to the project that he was the most able at - a greenhouse. It would take a long time before it was done, but he intended to help do it.

Glass was important, but the structure came first. The structure was key. Fortunately, they had good-quality materials... he just needed to keep his horns out of the way long enough to get the supports up and sturdy.

He received lunch for his trouble - a plump orange and a freshly made sandwich. It had cluckbeast in it, a rare 'treat'. Sephos's diet did not typically include meat, but he felt it was all right. It was tasty enough, and it was full of nutrients - that was what Maku had said.

Still, with so much plant matter at hand, why go through the trouble of killing an animal and butchering it and skinning it and so on? Maybe he'd find out on that explorers guild thing Nucleo had told him about...

Sephos Arbola

Apparently, the daywalkers had been particularly bad that day - whole chunks of the wall protecting the fields was missing.

A treebeast here'd take care of this easily. Sephos couldn't help but think. Maku would probably be happy to come with him some day for a feeding run - plenty of sunlight in the open fields, enough daywalkers to feed on. Probably... if Maku would be willing to leave the woods for it.

Maybe if I told him that it was for the forest... Sephos thought, as he carefully repaired the wall. Everything was connected in the great cycle of life, that was what Maku said, and so everything was connected to the forest.

Plus there was a forest here... Humm. Sephos didn't want to follow that vine of thought just yet.

The fauna that this group of trolls had gathered and/or bred seemed to take well to Fellah. The redblood once again spent a solid chunk of time with them, making sure their pens were nice and clean, and food and water fresh. He even went so far as to start giving some of the more quirky animals nicknames.

Even though his last attempt at laying down asphalt for a road hadn't gone so well, this time Fellah really seemed to be getting the hang of it. The project was still in its early stages, but the farm troll thought to himself how nice it will be to have a road leading from the plains to the coast. Lost in his nightdreams, Fellah made some solid progress.

"Hello everyone!" Panili chirped, stepping out of her quarters. She had a laundry list of things to do tonight, and was about to get right to work when she spotted some familiar faces. Giving an enthusiastic wave, Panili rushed to grab her gear so she could finish work early and socialize!

2: You get through an average amount of tasks tonight, which is pretty satisfying! Not too bad at all. (+2)

Beautification! 2/25

A good deal of weeding left Panili tired but satisfied at her work. The dirt looked so fresh and happy! Now pretty flowers could be planted here instead.

Sephos Arbola

Sephos returned to the greenhouse. They were going to need more materials, he noticed, but he left that to trolls more willing to... deal with that. He was far enough from home already, and he wasn't ready to go much further for any reason, even for this.

Still, he worked hard, he did a good job. He was fed. It was all he needed, honestly, that and the pride of seeing the building come along, however slowly. Maybe, he thought, they should have done smaller greenhouses? Then they'd have some finished, and others in progress...? But he wasn't going to question it. It wasn't his place.

Sephos was asked to fix some building damage again - apparently, he'd gotten a reputation for being fairly good at it. However, after a little bit, it was clear he needed a break. There were other things he'd rather be doing, and other things he would be better at.

"Gonna garden tomorrow." he said flatly. In his mind, it was pretty set. It was, after all, what he did best.

The redblood really seemed to find his way over to the animals quite often. Though while Fellah mucked out the pens again, he started noticing more trolls coming out to help. Recognizing a couple of them, Fellah offered a quick wave to Sephos and Panili as they passed by, doing their own work. He'd have to remember to stop by and say hi to them when he had gotten some more work done.

Once the fauna had impeccably cleaned pens, Fellah decided to go get some more work done on the Lusus Quarters. After all, what good was such a big compound if there was no place for the Lusii to comfortably stay? He seemed to be moving at a steady pace that night, hoping he'd finally worked himself out of the slump.

After running a couple laps around the compound to stretch his muscles out, Fellah stopped by the animal pens again. The farm troll decided to work on some grooming that night. Since they had cleaner pens now, and he made sure their food and water was taken care of, some good old fashioned pampering was always something he took pride in both with his own animals and produce back at the farm.

It seemed like Fellah was quite intent on making a solid dent in the work required for the Lusus quarters. Again he found himself drawn to the building, more familiar with the plans and requirements he seemed to be flying by with this project. The redblood had a tendency of getting into "the zone," and it seemed as though he was finally back in the head space.

It was starting to get a little late in the night, but as usual Fellah still found himself gravitating towards the animals again. He'd mucked out their pens, fed them, given them water, groomed them, even given some of them names. He couldn't think of what else needed to be done, except perhaps make some placards with those names on them. So the redblood got to work, making some wooden signs for "Chuckles," "Fluffy," "Dagger Toes," and "Beatrice." He had no idea if any of these animals had names yet or not, and even if they did it would be easy to take the placards down.
