While it was very tempting to keep two particular cards together, for many reasons, Olivia followed Andrew's advice and decided to switch out her cards. It did, after all, seem very amusing to use her own card to fight against the boil. (Maybe if this continued, she could use his own against him, what fun!)

Briefly she squinted, unsure of what Andrew was referring to about damage. Like he said, she hadn't gotten any but hopefully it would all make sense in a little bit.

"I did not win this time," There was a little bit of a pout, but it should have been expected given how she did in the previous round. And it was against her own card too.
Andrew proved to be the victor in this round. "My poor Olivia card. She still prevailed though, as she liked to think whenever she battled (when anyone would actually let her!) When was she always so cute? Olivia's sad face when her card got hurt was almost too much to bare. Why? Why was it always like this? Andrew carefully made sure his tail was below the table so she wouldn't see it burning a bit brighter. "It's ok she has another chance to attack, though I'd summon in a stronger card instead. Strong is good." He drew. Those puffed cheeks remained as she mulled over her decision. It was tempting to keep her card out since it was actually her own but Andrew had more knowledge about this game and was making suggestions.

Now it was the point that she hated the most, the math part. This one seemed like it was going to have a little more to do that even the second time. It wasn't as cut and dry as the first round, that was for sure.

Andrew eyed his card on himself and then plopped down his own stage 3. "I evolve into Ignatius. And summon lighting." He waved his fingers a lick of flame dancing on them but not touching his cards. Lighting and fire weren't too far off after all. For a moment he forgot Olivia was terrified of fire.
