"It's a bit s**t for people who want families, aye. I never had family so I don't really know what the ******** the appeal is. Ace and I get on well enough on our own. I think s**t's been somewhat calmer here of late, maybe it'd be possible to keep kids and s**t here, if there were a team of hunters dedicated to protecting and watching them when s**t hit the fan, we probably have the resources. Someone would need to do it though, and that someone isn't me."
He shrugged. "Cael's important to this island, even if most people think he's a ******** menace."

"Yeah, but I'd like to know when you are suffering." He didn't know much about other people, and as cruel as it was, it was just natural to be concerned about the people who revolved around your circle. At least the people you wanted back in your circle.
"If we could have had families here, I would have liked inviting you to see my family. But that doesn't meant what you have with Harrison isn't that."
"But....I think when I see younger hunters here, I worry a lot for them. About the hunters who don't care about them. About the ones who might want to hurt them." He adjusted the strap at his shoulder, thinking of Lawr. About the small minipet he tried to strangle. About the hunters in the pods. About his daughter.
"Yeah, despite the Leads being nuts....they are powerful enough and must be doing something to keep everything glued together."

"Whatever, maybe just assume like, all the ******** time." he said with an irritable shrug.
"I have a family with Ace, aye, but its no a family that I ever want to get bigger, I would hate a kid. I'd hate them with all my ******** hear and soul." And he meant it, the idea of some small creature taking all of Harrison's affections making him furious.
"I don't worry about them, the island will make them strong and anything that happens to them they will ******** deserve for being weak, they are in the school of hard knocks. The leads are just part of that."

Suffering all the time. He wished there was a way to help alleviate that feeling but if it was a quick sokution then Rep wouldn't be there. He tried to think of things that could at least help make things a bit less grim but felt that what he did would come off as ingenuiene and not heartfelt. Even giving him hot cocoa sounded ridiculous. Was there a nice gesture that could do something for him?
