Dear goodness, this woman! After requesting something, of course, Natalia couldn't make, she seemed to be going back and forth between needing verification to declaring things outright. It was cute...and terrifying, which, for someone who lusted blood like the dragon woman did, was also attractive. "Ahaha! No judgement here, lady Gram! Steak it is! I'll go get things started!" Even with Alistair's help, the dragon kin had totally failed at cooking. Cleaning was easy enough, regular house chores that Rowan and the others had either demanded or asked respectively, were simple. Put this here, make that shiny. No big deal. Cooking had several steps, several rules, things that Nat had no experience with given that her time spent training had taken up all the time for her homely capabilities. She actually sympathized with Gram when it came to her worries between being a female and a brute. The dragon kin took about a minute setting things up how she remembered. Luckily, they'd gone shopping the day before. Ahh, that'll do for now. The brat offered herself up for help, so I'm so cashing in on that.

"Blake, dear! The kitch-" If one listened closely, they could hear the internal shattering sound that resonated through Natalia's head as she realized she missed something crucial. Just as she'd come back up stairs, the two that were left there were breaking apart from each other as if just in a tender embrace. The weak little elf girl seemed to be thoroughly shattered herself, more so than when white-haired woman messed with her. Natalia suddenly felt very cheated for doing her maidly duties for missing something so important. What was it?! What happened?! Between Gram's words and Blake's broken state of mind, the dragon kin was able to figure it out before developing horrible mixed feelings. A weakling like that getting all the action?! What is up with this girl!? She had to admit, though, the grade schooler's reaction was absolutely priceless! Natalia couldn't help but to laugh along with Gram, though for her own reason. This was despite being jealous of both of the women. Even she hadn't gone so far as to kiss the girl, well, not her lips. Most of her schemes just involving her being grabby or not allowing the blonde any sort of personal space.

"Ahahaha! Aw, Blake, dear! How could you deny our relationship so openly like that? I've already told you, things would be way easier if you stop fighting me! You make yourself way too much of a target for teasing! Even Lady Gram is on top of things~ Eheheh! She's right, it's only funny. Calm down. Don't be so uptight. It'll be okay." As long as I don't decide to kill you for kissing my Gram! How does this moron get two hotties and a ton of attention from the folks in town? Sure, she was cute, but there wasn't much under the hood. As the girl passed by her on the way to the stairs, Natalia flashed her a dark smile and pat her on the back. My, my. It's not like your giant crush on the kid isn't the biggest elephant in the room when you two are together, anyway. Take it down a notch.

After Blake made her way downstairs to the kitchen, the dragon kin was left upstairs...alone...with Gram. Beads of sweat began to form on her forehead, suddenly becoming nervous of such a dangerous situation. "W-w- would you like to help with breakfast? If cooking isn't your thing, there's plenty to do around here. Lot's of cool...funeral...related...things." Honestly, the place was pretty dull. Most entertainment for the maid was either reading or fooling around with Blake. There was more to do in the city, and Natalia had made a plan to convince her to go shopping soon, but... Aheh! With Gram around, things are really up to her! Let's just hope Miss Cheyenne doesn't come home to this before we can do a thing about it! I feel like her and Gram might clash more than her and Rowan!

What a defensive girl. She seems to be trying to protect that maidenly virtue that people hold so dear. It's actually pretty cut. No wonder she's your type. Gram thought to herself, a smug look on her face as she stopped laughing and simply stared at the girl who was incapable of standing at the moment. "The only one, huh? Someone like you on having one guy... not so likely. And even if he was, what's wrong with having fun on the side. So closed minded and boxed in. People of the modern age are nothing but a couple of stiffs." Gram mocked, trying her best to mess with Blake while she could. "Besides, it was just a kiss. No need to get all weak-kneed on me. Unless, of course, you actually like it." She stated, trying her best to embarrass the woman as best she could. At this point, the dragonkin woman had shown up and began to address the situation as well, apparently being upset at their relationship being denied. Huh, I really didn't think that was the case. I guess I misjudged this situation entirely then. Gram thought to herself, utterly stunned by this sudden declaration. The dragonkin woman did not even seem the type to prefer girls.

There was, however, quite a bit of displeasure being generated by the demon arm currently, something Gram was largely unaware of as she walked over towards Blake. Before she could say anything, however, the woman had already picked herself up and ran off through the house, presumably to go and cook breakfast for Gram. What a sweet girl. She tries to console me, cooks me breakfast, and doesn't even mind a bit of smooching. Athough she's a bit too innocent for my tastes. It's fun to tease those types, but thta's all they ever get to. They're far too prudish. Gram though to herself, her eyes now drifting over towards the dragonkin woman. There was an obvious look of dissatisfaction on her face, the woman not caring to even acknowledge the dragon before her. It did not help that Natalia suddenly began to spout out random sentences and questions. As such, Gram merely stared at her with what seemed like killing intent until the woman finished, not saying a thing the entire time as she stared daggers at her. Then, she began to walk towards her and stopped.

"Huh?" She then picked up her demon arm and squeezed her hand slightly. Then she made some blue flames appear out of it, something Rowan had never done before, and smirked slightly as she turned her attention back towards the dragonkin woman. "I see. Maid's need to be punished when they step outta line, eh boy? That's right, that's right. They need to know when to use the term "master" and what boundaries are. After all, they can't be flirting with their mistresses or anything like that. That is... improper, maid etiquette. Heh." Gram stated and then let out a stifled laugh, a huge smirk across her face. She simply walked over towards Natalia and picked up the demon hand, holding it close to her face. "~Punishment~" She sang out to the woman.

*Thwack*

The flick to Natalia's forehead from Gram would probably feel like someone took a battering ram to her skull, given its anti-dragon properties, but it would not kill her. The punishment, however, was probably enough to convey that Rowan was obviously displeased with the facts that had been laid out on the table. "Whoops... it slipped. What can we do after all." Gram stated as she walked past the woman, holding her hands to her shoulders and shrugging with a grin on her face. "Must be tough being a maid. I'd try not to get on people's nerves too much. After all, even that boy's capable of inflicting that kinda pain on ya. He's just been holding all that in." She revealed to the woman. Whether this sudden revelation of Rowan being able to inflict that much pain on her at any given time was shocking or not was up to Natalia, yet it should be noted that Rowan had not reprimanded her once for any of that stunts she had pulled up until now. For the most part, he seemed to be a rather kind master despite the threatening tone that he gave off whenever she frustrated him.

Meanwhile, Gram had made her way downstairs and was simply watching Blake cook very intently, a smirk on her face the entire time. "Oi, I want it seasoned. A bit rare too, I like em' bloody. Oh, don't forget the sea salt, or some dill. Gotta remember to add at least three different sauces with at least one being spicy." Gram began spouting demands for her food, showing quite a bit of knowledge in regards to meats, spices, and other flavorful additions to foods. She seemed to know her stuff in various different topics. "Just don't undercook it, or I'll barbecue you, alright." She stated rather nonchalantly, without much of a threatening tone behind her words.

"My weakness is very private, so I'd prefer you not go around telling everyone how to beat me. No, really, it's embarrassing, so just die, alright?"

Gram's gaze was slowly making Natalia more and more nervous as she spoke. The nervousness escalated into fear when the hand of the woman before her became engulfed in blue flames. Was that something the kid was capable of? She hadn't seen it before. Were these stronger or weaker than the ones he normally used? "P-punished? W-wait. No, M-Master Rowan...It's all in good fun," Natalia stammered as Gram neared her with a rather devilish smile spread across her face. Seeing the impending doom without interruption from the Knight, the dragon kin grit her teeth. A part of her considered running, but she had a feeling things would be worse if that were the case. Blake...probably her heard shriek of pain from downstairs.

The pain was excruciating, sending Natalia directly to her knees, doubling over with both hands on each side of her now aching head. It was almost enough to make the woman pass out. She considered attempting to get back up, but moving an inch caused her mind to absolutely spin. Gram's words sounded like they were coming from a far off place, like a bad phone call or she was in another realm entirely. That, however, did not stop Natalia from catching every word. D-dammit...Wh- where did... The pain was making her nauseous, and the kid was capable of something like this? It wasn't an unlikely gesture, but the dragon kin's first thought was that all that power came from Gram, herself. Seems like the kid finally got fed up with the games. When it sounded like the fire-wielding she-demon was downstairs, Natalia rolled over onto her back, hoping the coolness of the floor would help the pain subside faster.

User ImageGeez! Just a kiss... What was she thinking? Then talking about things like that! But...speaking of which, was that... how Rowan...? Blake! No! Don't be creepy! Nngh... None of this is okay. I-it's not like it was bad... but I'm not into women! Gah! That's just too weird for me. Natalia's bad enough... Gram looking like Rowan didn't help at all, either. Just made it weirder... Blake covered her face with her hands even though no one was around, an exasperated groan escaping her. Down in the kitchen, the blonde was stewing over steak, utterly frustrated with how her day was already going. It was more eventful than she'd planned at this point. Blake had a feeling Rowan would've just ignored her, gotten mad, or turned ethereal and got rid of her anyway... At least she had something to do now... Though her Knight was now locked away even further than before. Dropping her arms back down to her sides, she side and let her head drift back until she was looking at the ceiling. I've gotta fix the door... I don't know what I can do for the wall. It'll be too sloppy. Besides, it'll all fade away if I don't use enough mana. Then it just serves as covering up the problem. I guess I have enough money that I could just pay to replace it and fix the damages. Technically, it's my fault they happened anyway. There's still the question of who'll do the work, though... Natalia's scream of pain pulled her attention from her thoughts. Blake spun around to see Gram heading down the stairs. "I- Is she okay? What happened?"

As long as Gram hadn't killed the dragon woman or mortally wounded her, it was supposedly fine... She was Rowan's maid anyway, that was his call. If he let Gram loose on Natalia, then Blake really didn't have a say-so about the situation. There was also the fact that she wasn't too happy with dragon kin at the moment. It's not like the magus had forgotten what the woman did. Why did she even put up with the woman's antics anyway? Gram suddenly began making rather specific demands regarding her food while watching Blake cook with a grin that made the girl slightly nervous. Did she plan ton continuing the mental barrage? Every once in a while, the woman's knowledge would surprise the elf, causing her to chuckle between "okays" and "got its." "Alright. I'm not gunna under cook it, don't worry. I'm picky when it comes to stuff like that too anyway." Cooking for her was entirely different than making food for Rowan. It was definitely an interesting change of pace. With the Knight, Blake just ended up making what she liked and hoped for the best. She ended up finding some things he ate with a little more vigor compared to others, but it was still mostly guesses. "Did you want the eggs too or just the meat? How do you like them?" Even though the woman wasn't afraid to state her preferences, she didn't go out of her way to offer actual help, but that was fine. She liked making food for others. It held a level of satisfaction when people like what one made them.

At least Gram had stopped destroying the house, though Blake wasn't quite sure about Natalia's state at this point. Still, there were things eating away at her mind that made this whole thing uncomfortable. The woman making out with her was the least of her worries. What other things were wrong regarding her legend? How long did she plan on sticking around? Would there even be a way to get the Knight back? What "important" thing was she thinking about? When the food was done, Blake slipped it onto a plate and placed it on the table for Gram.
"All set."

"Runt" Gram muttered at the thought of how Natalia must be rolling around in pain on the second floor right about now. Seeing as how she could not see the dragonkin, she could only imagine how painful the experience was for her. And here I was thinking that everything would be simple and I could just take her out to fix all of our probl- Mid-thought, Gram's face started turning a bright red as embarrassment filled every corner of her being. For some odd reason the woman had suddenly started acting strangely. "Wait, wait, wait! Those are private memories you idiot! This isn't a movie. Stop loafing around like that's your house. What? Sad? I'm not sad! What do you know you idiot! Stop looking, no really, stop. It's not that interesting. Hey... I know I said it first but it kinda hurts when ya say it with such a mean face. What do you mean I'm like some badly written heroin!? Hey, that's going a bit too far you bear-faced moron! Stop, really. Stop looking. I'm gonna die..." Gram began spouting out quite a few commands and seemed to be having a conversation with her arm, quickly dropping her head onto the table as she gave up and made earth-shattering, guttural sounds of depression.

At this point, it should be obvious that this woman had a pretty depressing past... but not like one would expect. The traumas she faced were probably more towards her social life and personal inabilities rather than something horribly tragic happening to her directly. Although she did have some tragedy, it was clearly outweighed by he sheer amount of mental damage she had sustained from lack of interacting with people. "I don't want eggs! Plain eggs are horrible!!!" She issued forth a wraith-like voice as the depressive nature of the room more and more dense. "It's like eating the spawn of chicken directly! And everyone knows that dragons and chickens are related to each other on the totem pole of life equivalency..." She muttered out, obviously spouting off quite a bit of out-date science that was probably prevalent in her world in the past. It was not too out-of-the-ordinary for people of the past to relate two creatures based on physical appearances and certain aspects. A chicken having slightly reptilian features would obviously cause many people to come to a similar conclusion, at least in Gram's mind anyway.

When the food was placed in front of her, she dug right into it and began to tear through all of the food with a vigor that surpassed normal humans. It was like she had put food in front of a starving hog, and that hog was having a field-day. "I didn't kill the dragon runt. Besides, she's just a kid when you look at it in the long-run. She barely even an adult by dragonkin standards, considering how long they live. I guess you're in the same boat as her... although you're kind of kiddish in my opinion." Gram began stating, needlessly stating things that were probably already apparent to all of them. "You think I'm just a casual killer of children or something!? I only kill when I have to and when it's absolutely necessary... and if they're dragons or dragonkin. But if two or more of my do and do nots conflict with each other, then obviously I cant, with a good conscience, slice some people into itty bitty ribbons. Now can I!?" She shouted between eating her food, staring at Blake the entire time with some rather malicious intent. This intent, however, was not truly there, as it was just her natural face.

User ImageGram was hands-down the most intense person Blake had ever met. She even ate with full enthusiasm! All the half elf could really do was watch the woman with slight dismay. What exactly was sad about her life? The bickering between her and Rowan had left Blake both confused and curious. He seemed to be making himself at home and even going so far as to press some of the Armament's buttons. From the way the woman was acting, he really did seem fine in there. When Gram had called him bear-faced, the blonde had to instantly cover her mouth and nose to stop a snort of a laugh. Blake had raised an eyebrow when the woman devolved from bickering to groaning. What exactly was he seeing? I'd tell him to leave her alone, but that'd make me a massive hypocrite. Also, I kinda wanna know, too. Blake had an inclination to ask but was somewhat afraid of Gram's retaliation for prying.

Even a "no thank you" was out of the question. Gram had to go on spouting something that sounded extremely out-of-date. Was that a common belief of the past, or was that just an opinion of the woman's? Blake could...kind of see how the two creatures could be related visually. At least the wings and the body shape. Given that theory, though, weren't chickens closer to wyverns? How did Gram feel about wyverns? Such a conclusion still sounded a little silly. Now, she was watching the dark-haired girl tear through the food in front of her, slightly baffling the half elf across from her.
Given your age, you should probably consider all of us children. "Eheheh, I suppose not! Yeah, I'll probably have a while like this now...It's sad, I was hoping I'd get a little taller before this point," she murmured, scratching the back of her head. "Anyway, as long as she's not dead or dying, I guess it's fine." Rowan seemed prevalent enough that he'd either allow or attempt to stop Gram if out of line, although Blake wasn't sure if she could rely on whether or not his input would do a grande amount if the woman really did decide to go berserk. For now, things seemed fine, though, so there was really no use worrying about anything like that. Blake wasn't really sure how to act around this woman. The overall situation was interesting from an educational point, but someone this ancient... If she were a child, she'd probably be bouncing off the walls right about now. She didn't really seem the type to have many stops.

"So, Gram, I'm not sure if you know, but there are quite a few consistencies of your legend that seem to be off. Firstly, no where has it been mentioned that you're a woman, at least not that I'm aware. There weren't any changes to that body that hint you're a demon. Is that even right? I was just wondering if you could clear some things up...?" She seemed pretty aware of things that had gone on, and if Rowan was as up-to-speed as he seemed, then had she been just as much in there? Thinking about it made Blake a little embarrassed. Were all Armaments this way?

"Eh? You're sad about being short and having an explosive body like that? Just what kind of complain is that?! I spent my whole life with this honed body, everyone giving me strange stares and whispering behind my back. And you're gonna complain about being short and stacked like triple-layered sandwiches and the like. You've got some nerve runt. You're the bane of all women. We hate you. People like you frustrate use to no end. I bet you're always like, 'how could you like someone like me, I'm just plain...' Or you're trailing off always trying to decipher people's attraction to you without noticing all the lewd stares they always do. You really are the worst kind of woman, you know. People like you make me want to blow the whole world up. It's unfair. Your lack of confidence is frustrating and your assets are even more so. Just because your little boytoy has a hard time showing emotion doesn't mean you can go around towards other women acting like you don't got the stuff when every man in town is chasing your tail. How inconsiderate. How inappropriate. How, utterly, frustrating." Gram began, showing no sign of stopping as her complaining and muttering seemed to chain together to form complex thoughts that made it difficult to keep up at time.

The only reason she ceased her insulting of Blake about her lack of presence was because the woman had mentioned something about her legend being inconsistent with the reality of the situation. For a few moments she simply stared at Blake before giving her a slightly disgusted "eh" in a drawn out way. This was not one of surprise, however, and it seemed to hold some sort of disbelief that Blake could even consider her man-like from her legends. "Oi, oi, oi! You listen here runt. My legend is about Gram, and it always states the word "gram" or "they" in my legend. I've heard it countless times while in that damned arm. It's people like you that misconstrue that concept and place it on a man, always stating "he" was a demon and this or that. My legend never once called me a man or a woman, and there was a good reason for that. They did not want to disrespect me for fear I might come back, and they did not want to entitle a woman given the times of the world. Maybe things have changed a bit now, but back then it was almost unheard of to have a powerhouse of a woman running around taking down all the big bads of the world. Who'd want to admit to something like that and cause some war of equality, although that did happen a couple thousand years later I guess." Gram shrugged as she spoke, then turned her attention to the other thing that Blake had mentioned.

"As for the demon thing, that's another misconception made by you people of the modern world. Seeing as how you probably wouldn't have guessed, considering you don't know anything about the age before Armaments, religion was actually a fairly big deal in my time. People like to label people with terms and such when they did not fit into their ideas of what made up humanity. Dragonkin were sky monsters, slimes were abominations, and homunculi were considered demons. Which one do you think I fit under, hm?" She stated to her, watching her slightly as a trickle of blood rolled down from her mouth to her chin. There was an eerie atmosphere in the air at this point. "Given my arm, that name was given to me twofold. They said I wielded the "Abomination's Arm" and needed to be destroyed before I infected the world's purity. Someone like me was a blight, and thus I was treated as such throughout history." She stated to Blake, revealing a little bit about her sad past and why she was named what she was. Just as with the comments about the chicken, the times had changed since then.

User ImageBlake's jaw might as well have hit the floor when Gram started going off on her. The woman's use of adjectives was bad enough, but how could anyone have been okay whispering behind her back? Even starting with a male's body, Gram's current form was enough to make the half elf jealous. E-explosive? W-wait...how am I like a sandwich? It was difficult enough to keep up with her rambling; however, when the woman started speaking hypotheticals that were spot-on, Blake turned a shade of pink under her light hair. She totally did those things. B-but I am plain... People don't give me lewd looks, she whined internally. Wait, do they? No, no, no. They can't. There's no way, right? Luckily, her questions were capable of stopping Gram and getting her to change the subject to something much less embarrassing.

Well, that had been Blake's original thought. The was until the woman speaking once again called her out, this time on her assumption that Gram would've been a male. At first, she was sure that she'd heard it before. Had her mom said it first? She really hoped so... Although, this strange history lesson was rather interesting. That's right. The science behind Armaments had been lost long ago which is one of the reasons why they were considered so precious today. Gram was ancient, not that Blake thought it a good idea to go straight out and say that. She suddenly felt bad for the souls within Armaments. Were they all this aware of the things happening around them, aware of the passage of time but not allowed to directly affect the things around themselves, just getting passed around or rotting in a corner, not allowed to move on. Gram continuing brought the fae back to the conversation. Did the term sky monsters apply to both dragon kin and dragons? This wasn't really the time for specifics...
She's a homunculus? Were they so uncommon at that time they didn't fall under their own category. Religion's fine, but being closed-minded is different. Was that really the case back then? Rowan was right, it was pretty sad.

A blight, huh? He'd used that word to describe himself in regards to the kingdom, more than once... Just how alike were the two of them? Granted, she was considered the bane of the dragons and those descended from or affiliated with them. The extermination of a whole race was some pretty serious business, indeed, but an infection on the world's purity? Both of them were wrong. This was pretty interesting. Then again, when it came to things like this, Blake was a bit of a nerd. "Abomination's Arm? What sparked that? I mean... Why exactly call for the destruction of dragons, anyway? Sure, they're predatory, but a lot of races are, even humanoid ones. Why were they your enemy? There's gotta be a reason, right, for your arm to even be wielded by you in the first place?"

Upon Blake asking Gram about the "Abomination's Arm," Gram became quiet and simply stared at her for a moment. It did not help that the elf caked on a few more questions, all of which were rather touchy subjects with the woman. What she needed to address first, however, was the final misconception that Blake seemed to have about her. "Oi!" She suddenly stated very loudly throughout the house, anger clearly visible on her face as, for the first time, pure rage was displayed for all to see. "Don't you dare sit there... and belittle my dreams like they're something so insignificant..." Gram stated, gritting her teeth as she clenched her hands on the table, the demonic arm leaving some claw marks behind due to Gram's carelessness. "Predatory creatures? That's all you think they are.... So arrogant... even after what you've seen that they're capable of, what that woman who murdered your man is capable of." Gram shouted suddenly, slamming her fist on the table and staring at Blake with a hatred that was beyond compare, one that not even Rowan could probably match in intensity.

"They're murderers... savages. That continent that floats in the sky... It's calling card of death and destruction!!!" She screamed at Blake, becoming irrational as her mind flashed back to the traumas of her past. "Predatory is such an understatement!!!" She screamed at her, something deeply tied to her past obviously boiling up within her as she continued. "My family... my friends... my nation. They're all extinct because of those monsters... those heartless bastards that rained down from the sky and slaughtered us. They ate us... they pillaged... they even..." Her teeth looked like they would crack from the pressure they were creating. "I vowed that after that day, I would wipe their existence from the face of the earth, just like they did to our kingdom, to our beautiful forest. That wasteland you passed through... was my home!!!!" She screamed at her, completely irrational in her thinking at this point, yet she continued on with her statements. "I'm not petty... and I'm not misunderstood. If I hadn't died by that woman's hands before I accomplished my goal, you would never have experienced your tragedy. The entire dragonkin race wouldn't even exist." She stated very darkly, a fierce expression in her eyes that explained her murderous, genocidal tendencies completely.

"As for my arm..." She stated, staring at Blake with a rather intense expression on her face. "It was chimeric in nature." She began, obviously considering this a rather long explanation. "My arm was eaten during their first attack, and my eyes were gouged out. The only reason I lived was because I was saved by my brethren. They pulled me back and tended to my wounds, awaiting the second attack. For months, they slaved away to find pieces of creatures, most of which are extinct now, to fuse into a new appendage for me. They replaced my eyes with magic ones, and infused my body with so many chemicals that it became far more than human. By the end of the process, I almost wasn't even considered a homunculus anymore... but a chimera. My only saving grace was that I still possessed the face and body of a human... for the most part." She stated, sorrow beginning to poor into her voice. "After the second attack, I was the only one left alive. They couldn't kill me... none of them could. They killed everyone else... but anyone who approached me was slaughtered without mercy. That's when the came to regard me as a demon, a monster with bright yellow eyes and an inhuman hand." She stated, picking up Gram and looking at it. "It looks so different... In my life... before it was crystallized into what it is now... It was solid... yet had the appearance of a blazing, black and red flame. It was so unruly that I always kept it wrapped up in special rags that could contain its magic power. Now... it's like this."

She seemed to clutch her hand for a few moments before turning her attention back to Blake, speaking once again. "The reason it became an Armament, is because the rest of me was destroyed in the attack that killed me. My arm, however, remained indestructible. My soul then was drawn into it and crystallized it into an Armament. Back then, they had just assumed that its natural form was a gauntlet, unaware of my survival. In the modern age, however, people were aware of how Armaments are created... and they knew what was contained within it." She stated with a dark, depressing tone. The atmosphere of the room had been ruined significantly. "Thus, I survived to carry out my dream, my ideology that was taken away from me by that woman... At least... that was the goal. But you and that boy had to muck everything up by refusing to kill that woman. And now... they're all going to come back to haunt this world. Their wrath... it'll be taken out on everyone... because you ruined our dream... our wish!!!!" She screamed at Blake once again, this time revealing that there had been consequences to their decision to not kill Natalia.

"My weakness is very private, so I'd prefer you not go around telling everyone how to beat me. No, really, it's embarrassing, so just die, alright?"

User ImageWell, Blake had been doing her best not to offend the...guest, but it seems she had anyway. Belittling wasn't exactly the goal. She'd just been trying to stay general about it, to find the reasoning behind it. Either way, Gram was now going off with much more intensity than before. The sudden mention of Natalia and her actions made the half elf drop her gaze, the corners of her ears doing the same. A small tremor ran through her when Gram's fist hit the table. "I... I've been trying not to think about it..." she murmured quietly, sinking into her chair. It was bad enough that woman was lingering around here, grabbing at Blake with the same hands that ripped him apart. She couldn't think about it, there was no room to, not if she wanted to keep her sanity or nature. Doing so generally tended to make the girl sick to her stomach, the pit was already forming now.

So, her actions that sparked the legends were rooted in revenge, Gram describing a rather horrific chain of events. Blake remembered that wasted, dead forest the homeland of the dragon kin loomed over. Her eyes rose back up to woman's snarl. That was where she was from? The place that had sent her inner necromancer into excited shivers, it was beautiful once, back in Gram's time. Then that would mean that it had shown up at that point and they'd just started...wreaking havoc? Why? What was the point? True, Ian probably would've still been alive. He wouldn't have been tortured so brutally for so long, but it's not like that could be changed now... The whole world would've been extremely different without an entire race, not just that one instance. It wasn't as though Blake were able to consider whether it would've been for the better or worse. Gram, on the other hand, obviously had her opinions, and certainly not wrongfully so. She was the only one of her kingdom left alive and only because of the alterations made to her body in response to their firs attack... It was still kind of heartbreaking. Fire with fire, though, that sort of thing just doesn't work out.

Blake tried to imagine if the Armament was still capable of moving rather than being stuck in the state that it was now. So the reason it looked the way it did, Gram's soul had crystallized the thing. Interest was slowly turning to regret the more she spoke. This sort of thing was a bit too much for a softie like Blake. Maybe they all had a lot more in common than she would've first liked to admit... The pained expression on her face said that much. However, it momentarily reached confusion before hitting all-out shock, biting down on her bottom lip at the woman's scream.
"That woman...? W-wait!" Blake cried shooting up out of her chair, hands planting onto the table. "What do you mean? Y-your people? How? And why because of us...?" A sudden look of realization crossed the woman's face. As the wielder of Gram, Rowan's decision to spare Natalia made it hers as well, forcing the woman to go against all her basic wiring, forcing her to act, or in this case not, against her own ideals. Taken out on everyone...and it would be all their fault? Is this what she'd meant by important earlier? "H-hang on! If I'm following you... Gram, that sounds bad. You're making that sound incredibly, incredibly bad. What exactly do you expect to happen here?"

Grah... B- Blue's worse. Blue is much worse. What crossed the line? Maybe he's all mad I was teasing his girlfriend. Tch! Proper maid etiquette... Eheheh, maybe I've finally crossed the line. Can't believe... the kid's capable of that kind of power. A sharp pain shot through the woman's skull as she tried to pull herself up, a breathy sound escape her. It was still only morning. Was this going to linger all day? It definitely ruined her mood, ruined her current will to bend the boundaries. She just stood there in the den for a moment, eyes hazy. I can't stay up here too long. I can't afford another one of those, not if they don't want me to bite someone's hand off... The voices downstairs suddenly escalating seemed to be cue enough to head down. Natalia only assumed that the damn fae said something stupid to piss the woman off again. The dragon woman wasn't quite prepared for the sudden dense change of mood between the den and the kitchen, walking in on Gram's mention of Blake's "tragedy". Apparently, the brat had gotten the woman to open up into her origin story, something Natalia was curious about as well. Her land had their own stories about the Armament.

What sort of tragedy had that dope gone through? The two of them had gone all the way to her homeland just to find her, it seemed. Natalia narrowed her eyes. The both of them had it out for her? Rowan obviously had some deep-seeded hatred for her, but Blake did as well? She did act rather shifty around Natalia at times... Huh, so both of them, then. Did they lose a friend to me or something? Crossing her arms, Natalia just leaned up against the wall and listened with a disinterested expression despite being 100% interested. What a sob story, almost enough to make me consider crying, but that's just how the world works. Survival of the fittest. If you're weak, you get snubbed out. There's nothing more to it. Your people were weak, and the dragons you fought didn't stand a single chance with that cursed arm of yours. It was only a matter of time until there was someone capable of taking you down. She sighed. The same seems to have gone for me. I wasn't lucky enough to die over it, though. Wonder when I should tell the kid...

Natalia's brow furrowed at the mention of her. How exactly had the kid's mucked everything up? Dragon kin or not, it's not like she had anything to do with- Pain. Pain. The woman was in no condition to listen to outright screaming. Granted, she considered herself a big shot but not when it came to ancient crap like this. What exactly did Gram mean, though? What wrath? Blake seemed to be more on top of things than she, asking questions that the dragon woman had, though a little more frantic than Natalia thought necessary. Well, could currently think necessary. With a muted groan, she tilted her head back, placing a clawed hand on her forehead.

Blake seemed to have become quite agitated almost instantly by the last few sentences that Gram had spoken. What did she mean? Why was it their fault? Was this fae girl that dead in the brain that she did not realize the repercussions of her own actions? Of Rowan's actions? The thought that they were so ignorant made her incredibly frustrated. Just who did these people think they were to meddle with things they did not know of? Then, she had the audacity to say that Gram's words sounded bad, really bad, and wanted to know what was about to happen. Gram, frustrated with Blake at this point, quickly began berating her in a harsh manner. "You thick-skulled amateur. Yes, it's because of you. Even you should know by now that you don't crush the dreams and ideologies of others, especially when it deals with spirits and the like!" She screamed at her angrily, obviously referring to the formation of wraiths and poltergeists. Those types of spirits tended to manifest themselves whenever they wanted to seek vengeance or accomplish what they could not longer do in life.

"You're such an idiot... You saw that place, didn't you?" She asked, referring to the dead forest. "That wasteland was filled with evil spirits, undead, and necromancy. It was obviously housing the grudge my people held against that race, and now that race will come back from the grave. The only thing that kept them at bay was the hope that their hero would exact vengeance upon their enemies in one way or another. After thousands of years, of course that negative energy would build up as their enemies continued to thrive, to exist. Now, now that I'm a 'traitor' to them... they're gonna come back. They're gonna return to this world and exact their vengeance in one form or another. You have no clue what they're capable of... what they're willing to do. And it's all your fault... both of you. Because you couldn't bring yourself to demean yourselves, to lower yourselves, you've ended the world itself. My people will rise again, and they will obliterate all those that trampled on their hopes and dreams!!!" Gram shouted at Blake, describing exactly what was going to happen now that they allowed Natalia to live.

"I hope you're prepared, because their target isn't just the entire dragonkin race, but you thoughtless children as well. That boy's actions made me a traitor, and thus they'll reclaim the gifts they gave me. This arm, they think its their savior, their property." She stated, clutching the demonic hand and looking towards Blake with a fierce look in her eyes. "I picked your boyfriend cause he died at the hands of dragons, loathed them, and wanted nothing more than to obliterate the very things that wiped him off the face of the world. That's why when you brought him back, I was able to find the perfect one... that could become me. My arm is a parasitic Armament, a rare sub-type that is hardly ever seen. It's not just that the user has to be satisfactory, but they have to synchronize with the Armament to the point that they are one and the same. Otherwise it causes disharmony. This arm isn't just the Armament anymore, it's his arm too. By choosing to go against our wishes... to throw away his one wish he was still clinging to... he turned us both into traitors. Why... Why would he even save that woman after she murdered him!? I tried to kill her... to mitigate whatever hell is about to rain down upon this land... but he continued to stop me... to suppress me. Such an iron-clad will... even now. Even if I wanted to... I couldn't use my flames..." She muttered to Blake, obviously upset with this turn of events. "We were supposed to slay them all, and avenge everyone. Now, we're traitors... and it's undoubtedly your fault... for giving him his heart back..."

"My weakness is very private, so I'd prefer you not go around telling everyone how to beat me. No, really, it's embarrassing, so just die, alright?"

User Image"O-Of course I saw it. I've never heard of something so big, though... The larger the space usually is the less concentrated. This is..." That place looked and felt like an absolute trench for negativity, but Blake hadn't once considered that it would all be focused enough for something like this... Granted, places like that usually served as a magnet for all things haunted and the-like. A space that big, though, she'd just assumed that time had made it grow and spread. It already started that way, just growing stronger and more potent rather just in actual size. Something that focused... an entire race coming back wasn't out of the question. Blake grit her teeth. Them sparing the life of one dragon kin was going to end the world? How was anyone supposed to have expected that sort of outcome?! So many people had their qualms about the Armament. It put people on edge. It attracted dark fae and similar types. It's because of the implications it carried in its legend. When Rowan was chosen by Gram, the will and responsibility of continuing her work had been passed to him, to both of them. Blake had always played that off as people being haughty or assumptive. Just because it was known at the Genocidal Weapon, it didn't mean they had the intention to commit the act themselves. At least, she wouldn't have thought that until she'd seen what Natalia had done to him... Even the blonde, for a while there, had wanted to get their revenge on the woman what she did... At least this way, she was doing something decent for once in her life. The way Gram was talking, though, it didn't sound like there was much time for that, nor much they could do to stop whatever was inevitably coming. The damage to the house this woman had made was now the least of the Mage's worries.

When Gram began to further explain her arm, it only made sense. That would explain why it had been so long before someone could wield her, and when people tried, it wasn't possible. They weren't able to sync with her. Wanting to carry out her and her peoples dream, giving off her aura the way she did was a call to arms, not sheer malevolence, though it was totally steeped in it. Rowan's the only one, and because he decided to spare one single dragon life, he made the dragon-killer Gram a traitor to her own race. Even with all this, he was still keeping the woman in check. Iron-clad, huh? Blake blinked when the woman pointed her out, saying that it was her fault, specifically for giving the Knight his heart back. His heart? What... Her gaze switched from Gram to her arm.
"Rowan..." Eheh, that's not fair at all. Normally, hearing something like that would make me elated. This is way too dark, though... What are we even gunna to do?

Blake looked back up at Gram. "Nngh... Is there anything we can do against this? I mean... Do you have an idea of how long we have...? We- We have to tell everyone," she stammered, pushing her bangs off of her forehead. The woman sank back into her chair, trying to process all this information. This is bad. This is so bad. Is...it really our fault? Leaving Natalia alive, sparing a woman's life- is that really going to spark the level of calamity she's talking about?

So...there were greater consequences that came along with allowing her to live than just a pesky maid. The kids were personally being sought after by those even Gram believes can bring about the end times. Even through the massive headache, a terrified but quiet chuckle escaped her. Saving the life of one dragon kin was going to set an entire vengeful dragon-hating race onto the planet. Things were looking like she was going to end up dying either way. Huh... As Gram went on, she revealed why exactly the children had been looking for her up on that platform. She'd had a feeling that she'd accidentally let one live, killed a friend of both of them, but she'd taken out Rowan herself? That was an interesting turn of events... And then the blonde had been skilled enough to bring him back? Natalia would've never expected that little miss goody-two-shoes was capable of such controversial magic. And he hadn't exacted his revenge? She looked on to the two women speaking with an astonished expression. Wait a second...she'd just used her flames not a minute ago to hit Natalia like a truck. He'd really given her given her permission?! That explained the interested expression she'd made before using them...

"Ahahaha~ We are all going to die, worse than die. So many people will probably die, so many dragons... Eheheh, and all of us. In this very room, we have the traitor and the influence that sparked this as well as the enemy they had spared. There is no way they would not make an absolute bee-line for us. We are going to be skinned alive, I am so very sure. It was nice playing with all of you." Natalia was surprised she had the ability to speak through her pain, perhaps it was the severity of the subjects acting as anesthesia.

"It's already too late. The most I can do is lend you support with my Armament. It's been too long since I've been wielded... and I'd rather not be destroyed by my own people..." Gram stated, informing Blake that they had already run out of time. Perhaps wasting the last two weeks doing nothing had been eaten away all their time they had to prepare for such an event. "Just know... you have no one to blame but yourselves if you all die here." She stated, obviously not content with the idea of being destroyed herself. Not to mention her dreams had been forcefully shattered by the two of them, ruining any chance of avenging her fallen brethren. These two had ruined everything... and now she lacked a purpose in the world, to exist. And it was that weakness that left a new opening, that lack of willpower that made her susceptible to Rowan's mental assault. Aside from the fact that she was obviously starting to lose her will to continue, she was also shocked that he had discovered how to pull her soul back into the Armament so quickly. As a result, she was easily overpowered by him due to not having her guard up at the time.

Simultaneously, the two of them felt what seemed like a super-condensed ball of fire rushing towards Cheyenne's home, the mass of mana seemingly overwhelming. Natalia had been right in the fact that they were going to make a bee-line for them, as one very brave witch had decided to come to their homestead and attack. Rowan, still with the appearance of Gram due to not having enough time to change back yet, reached for Blake and grabbed her by the wrist out of nowhere. Due to his third eye having given him this knowledge, no one else probably anticipated the attack that was about to happen on their home. Once he had a hold of her, Gram's body pulled her into a slight embrace and teleported over to Natalia, suddenly appearing at her side before pulling her close to her body as well. With both of them safely tucked close to Gram's body, Rowan did the only thing he thought would work given the situation they were about to be subjected to. As the mass of fire crashed into the house while all this was happening, Gram's body brandished Balmung and protected the three of them against the flames as the house around them was completely obliterated by the impact, eradicating everything within it.

The fire, of course, was magical, so it stayed and stayed, threatening to envelop them all while it remained destroying the house. A woman's laughter could be heard outside, ecstatic about the situation and how she had thoroughly slaughtered them all. What Blake and Natalia would probably notice now, however, was that Gram was a bit less soft... and she was more well-built and muscular than before. All the feminine qualities were gone, and they were pressed into a man's chest as Rowan's voice raged out like a fire. "Night.... SLAYER!!!!!!" The scream echoed out as, for the first time since Natalia joined their group, he used the move and completely cut through all of the magic, eradicating and absorbing the powerful mana that had been used to create it. Blake, of course, would feel a surge of mana like no other flow into her, the tremendous power building up almost instantly. With one swing of the blade, there were no flames anymore... and the laughter was gone. "What sort of joke is this... how'd you do that?" A woman in witch's clothing asked as she floated in the sky above them... the entirety of the house almost gone with them unscathed.

"Even if you tell me that there was a point to bringing me back, that still doesn't seem to mean anything to me. All I am is a weapon, and that was all I was trained to be, since the beginning."
