"Then no spar for you sorry," the man shrugged. "Training fields or no spar?" Ace asked again. Choices were given, missing one spar won't be a big deal for him. If they fought without wards, either of them would be hurted badly. One, he didn't enjoy pains and second, lying in infirmary was boring.

There was a long, audible sigh before Jason relented. "You know what, fine." He dropped his sword, in no mood for arguments considering it was like talking to a brick wall of happy go lucky annoyance. "Lets go to the training fields." He sulked the whole way there too, before he turned around, waving his sword around like it was a toy. "Okay, I'm ready now" He shouted from the opposite end. "I'll even let you go first." Then he'd just pummel Ace into the ground, knock that stupid grin off his face.

He loved this Jason, he was full of ego, like a male peacock fluffed up his feathers. "Alright." Ace summoned a scythe taller than himself, its metallic outlook felt lethally cold in touch. With the curved blade pointing at the ground, his arm swung like a pendulum to bring the scythe bottom-up against Jason's sword. Not bad for a warm-up move, he thought. HP: 40 /40 DMG: 3 Charge: 1/3

Oh yes, this would do nicely. He could feel the different in strength already, the scythe large but his weapon able to take the brunt of it with ease, arm held down to stop the weapons projector upwards. Then it was only a matter of closing the distance, sliding the sword up the pole and letting it crash into the rest of Ace's shoulder and neck if he was lucky. His smile grew as he cut into the others shield. HP: 47 Damage: 8 Charge: 1/3

Catherine called with concern. Even with the fear shield absorbed most of the possible damage, it still hurted. Sparks came from the abrasion, as Jason thought he did reach the man's shoulder with a few steps, the scythe twisted and slumped. The sudden derival of the track obstacled the smooth launch of the blade. Even more, the following up uplifting of the scythe pushed Jason's arm backward to himself.

The sheer size of Ace's weapon had him back peddling, but it wasn't for long. The scythe was bigger but Jason was fast, sidestepping the curved blade to attack at Ace's blind spot. This was all too easy. He loved it, being so much stronger then everyone else. HP: 44 Damage: 5 Charge: 2/3

Blind spot, huh really? As Jason launched for the opening, the Sun trainee cracked a smile. He swiftly hopped backward to draw the distance the Moon'd closing up, propeling the front of his scythe right into another hunter's abdomen. Holding such a big scythe made Ace impressed as a person with low mobility. In fact, Catherine was not cumbersome as most expected, same for her owner. Ace's attack didn't just end with such a punch, Jason would find himself being lifted up and flung out shortly after the pain bursted in his stomach. If this Jason wanted hard, he'll go hard as he wish. HP: 27 /40 DMG: 4 Charge: 3/3

Well. The sun was a lot faster then Jason originally expected, what had first appeared as a neglected side turned out to be thin air as Ace moved away, leaving him to feel a large blade and pole in his stomach. The blow did not hurt much. His quick reflexes forcing him backwards and coping a margin of pain, only the edge taken off his defenses. But it wasn't all, he felt himself being lifted up and then thrown backwards, but managed to right himself on the ground, crouching on the spot. "Well aren't you just a smart arse" he paused, waiting to see what else Ace would do. HP: 40 Damage: 0 Charge: 2/3

"Thank you," the man took it like a nice compliment. Once Jason reluctantly landed for a considerable distance, a scythe already swirling at him in high speed with a loud swoosh sliding through air. Catherine singsonged something about punishment for naughty boil even Jason didn't hear. The scythe reflected lights with its smooth surface created a distractive blind light together with the gleaming runes like a pinwheel. HP: 27 /40 DMG: 2+1+3+4+3+4=17 Charge: 3/3 USED

Perhaps he should have paused and instead have run the ******** away ,as he found himself blinded by the light. He covered his eye with one arm, waving his sword out in case Ace took the opportunity to do a sneak attack as he tried to regain his sight. "Why you little-" He snarled back. At least he could feel Zanth had a full charge now. HP: 27 Damage: 3 Charge: 3/3

After slashing at Jason, Ace caught the shaft of his scythe in a laid-back manner when it came back. Quickly, he poised for defense knowing the sword probably absorbed enough fear to push for a charge. "Come at me, Jason." The Sun muttered low. HP: 24 /40 DMG: miss Charge: 0/3

Oh, so he knew what was coming. Ace may of been a trainee but he had good battle sense. He certainly had some experience with spars as well. It was sad he lacked the power that would make him a superb fighter, especially now Jason had his own charge. His boots pushed off the ground, the other trying to defend against this but he wasn't going to be able to do squat. The sword glowed, and he drew closer to his opponent, arm held back against his side like some samurai before it was swung horizontally as close to Ace as he could manage. Oh, he knew this was gonna be fun. HP: 27 Damage: 28.8 Ability: Swift Strikes (Y3)

Crap......that hurts. Ace thought as a sharp pain burst out at the location of his waist, his scythe was forced to unsummon and without her support, he knelt with one knee. Catherine was shrieking in an awfully high pitch, like the last sound of a songbird made before it was stifled. He knew she did try her best to protect him and wanted to sooth her as usual to no avail. His forehead soon filled with cold sweats while his body tried to absorb the burning pain. The ache didn't subdue that easily, but Ace wasn't going to show it on his face. He shot a rare cold glance at Jason, " Who're you?" In the battle, he learned his heartless intention to kill him and that wasn't something the Jason he knew would do. Thinking he was simply throwing a tantrum was a mistake, Ace contemplated deeper. He didn't actually know what happened but he knew that wasn't a real Jason.

It was a beautiful scene. The moment he cut through the shield like butter, the scythe disappearing from his grasp, reducing the trainee to one knee. Oh, it was magical. He couldn't get enough. It appeared Ace was starting to catch on, that something wasn't quite right. Took him long enough, but he wasn't going to admit it. His sword was placed in front of him, both hands resting on the hilt, smirking down at his defeated opponent. "Why, I'm Jason. Who else would I be?" He spoke in a way that the real Jason would never speak.

"I dunno. Maybe a clone." Merely a trainee, he didn't learn the information that clones were unable to summon weapons no matter how genuinely close to the original. His tone apparently changed to something like a sharp knife, not the bare teeth kind but subtly intimidating. His thought was straight forward, if not-Jason was talking to him, then where could be the real Jason? Thinking his full Moon friend might be in danger, caught and caged somewhere like he'd told him once, along the corridor they met.
