It was really frustrating, but she wasn't the only one having a hard time hitting the target. Sherry twisted away, tossing a jab in his direction. Again, she didn't feel it connect. While Sherry struggled to concentrate, Jason managed to regain his own composure, moving around her jab and coming underneath and, instead of using his weapon, threw a hook to her face. "Whoops, may have gone overboard there. Don't want to mess up that pretty face of yours." HP: 50 Damage: 5 Charge: 1/3

Her little moment of centering had been a bad idea, and she felt him cut into her shield. Dammit. If he kicked her a** she'd never be able to live it down. Ever. She couldn't let the bully win. "I can assure you that's not the case," she said with a scowl. "Big jerk." Sherry sprang forward, feinting a high hit before switching and bringing her blade in low. He fell for the feint hook line and sinker, resulting in a nice chunk taken out of his shield. Of course once she made a hit It was a big one. "b***h" Came his retort, his weapon going on high and was brought down upon her head. HP: 36 Damage: 13 Charge: 3/3

It felt good to land a solid hit. It felt decidedly less good when he followed up the hit with heavy blow to her head. Another huge bit out of her shield, and another flinch. It was more reflex than anything, when she followed it up with a jab at his side. HP: 33/60 Target: Jason Damage: 8 Charge: 2/3

Jason had such a slight lead, but she was doing more damage now, so he had to act fast. Bring her down before she could pick up her A game. Thankfully, he was able to build up a charge before she could, and he was quick to release it to devastating effect. HP: 29 Damage: 20.8 Ability: Swift Strikes (Y3)

Things (okay her shield and her concentration and her pride) were cracking around her. She couldn't lose to him. She just couldn't. Not that easily. He stepped in with another good swing, and Sherry hit back as best she could. Armagnac's irritation told her it wasn't very well done. At all. HP: 3/60 Target: Jason Damage: 4 Charge: 3/3

He wasn't able to move away from the swing, and he knew he wouldn't be able to take another hit like that. His own shield was on it's last legs. But it didn't matter. She was close now, He threw his sword into her weapon, side stepped, then put everything he had into a final blow. HP: 7 Damage: 5 Charge: 3/3
