Melany seems to be prone to having memory lapses. Apart from seeming to have no knowledge of the shift in the world and possibly her old role I have witnessed her forget things said mere seconds prior

I ran into her at the mall the other day and she seemed okay. Obviously not the noble of the previous time, but I didn't notice any memory lapses. I wonder if it's intermittent?
Is it possible that the shift could have changed her status as noble entirely? Like it never happened.

Is she a student, or does she have any places she can usually be found? This would be much quicker if we were all aware of who to look out for.
I would assume she isn't in the same visage she appeared in at the Ball, correct, if she doesn't seem to remember her magic?

Just because she doesn't remember the Court does not mean she does not know magic. This is practically the magic capital of the world.
It would also be best to not try and swarm a young woman to see if she still has a tattoo. Which brings us to the question: is this something easily seen on her?

Went out dress shopping with her while I was at the mall. I don't remember a tattoo showing, but I also wasn't really looking for it. Will try to see if I can see it next time.
