Adria had been holding his breath as Lysithea got close; his stomach was in knots when she approached the monstrous youma. Its eyes had remained fixated on the glowing orbs, though it grunted and whined when she used her magic on its collar. Its eyes squeezed shut--but, most importantly, the shrill humming stopped when the collar broke off.
The youma's eyes opened and snapped away from the setting suns and instead focused on Lysithea. It watched her out of the corner of one ye with a tired, angry look, but there was something passive about the youma. It remained still for a long moment; even after the suns were gone it seemed like it was just relaxing.
Youma hated Senshi. There was no denying that. This youma did not seem pleased to have a Senshi standing so near to it; it's tail occasionally twitched behind it, or its claws dug into the ground, but it didn't move to strike.
For a long moment, it remained where it was and then it shuddered. Its mane blew softly in the night breeze and it pushed itself up. Now, it craned its neck to look at the other Senshi, but it didn't seem to care much.
It was tired; it was clear in its limp posture, or the way its head hung. Its eyes were foggy, but they seemed to hold a clarity that wasn't there before.
It looked at Lysithea for a long moment and looked like it nodded, but it might have just been the way its head sleepily bobbed. The ground rippled beneath the youma, only this time there was no tremors or destruction. It leaned forward and seemed to slip into a haze of black smoke.
It had left--as simple as that.
The collar that had Lysithea had broken laid in pieces on the ground.
Adria, alarmed, lingered for a moment where he stood and then trotted to Lysithea. "--What was that? Are you okay? Where...where did it go?"

Well that was.... that was..... something, alright. Forte didn't think it was how this kind of thing normally went, judging by the reactions of everyone around her, so she wasn't quite certain how she should react. But whatever had just happened, as weird as it was, it had happened, and nobody had really gotten hurt or anything so that was... probably good. Maybe? She... wasn't sure, but she didn't think it was too bad a thing
"So..." she started, then shrugged and looked around. "That was a thing." A thing they probably needed to discuss , and try to find more information on - something like that, anyway. She was too new to be certain about any of this but it seemed like the right thing to do. Not that she had the seniority to suggest it - she was the newest one here, since she.... still didn't really know anything beyond what Lysithea had tried to fill her in on, and what she could coax out of Miss Kitty whenever she saw the little white ball of fluff.
She crept over in the direction of the broken collar, scowling at it but not willing to risk touching it when she didn't know if it was safe, even broken. "Whoever used that was a real sadist - I wouldn't wish something like that even on a monster."
Lysithea watched the youma go, and a small, almost sad smile appeared on her face. Well. They had helped it. They hadn’t…hadn’t saved it…but they had at least spared it from pain…that was…that was something. It was all she could do at the moment, but…
But it was something.
“Youma don’t have…to be killed…there has to be something else we can do. Something else we can figure out.” She glanced around at the four other senshi with her and swallowed. “I…I have a bit of a confession to make. One of my…one of my best friends was turned into a youma…and…”
She made her way slowly back over towards Adria. “And I just want to find some way to help him. I’ve been trying to figure out how to…how to fix youma but nothing’s worked…but…but we just…helped that one…so maybe…”
The eternal senshi swallowed, feeling her eyes filling with tears that she had fully not intended on having. “Would you guys help me? I can’t…I can’t just keep thinking that youma are bad…they…they were people at some point…we’re killing…people…turning them to dust…”
This was not what she had intended to tell this group that she hardly knew, especially with the two younger senshi there…this was not how you went about making friends but…
But she felt so strongly about this.

"I've never seen anything like that." Elpis whistled, eyebrows raised in surprise. The senshi circled the collart, studying it with an analytical gaze curiously before she frowned. It was certainly something new to see, and the super senshi was disinclined to simply let it be. It was mechanical, and her father might know how to hack it. At the same time, it was highly unlikely the Senshi or her father could understand anything it read out into, so, she grunted, and planted a heel on it rather suddenly, pressing down hard and grinding into it in an effort to break it with a cold calculativeness to her motions that bespoke her distaste.
Especially gien it resulted in more information. Elpis curled her lip in distaste, before she looked up to Lysithia. Truthfully, she registered the unicorn senshi's words as she'd spoken, but the senshi was finally reacting, and moved to hug Lysithia without so much as a 'how do you do'.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart." Elpis tried to soothe. "Maybe there's some kind of way? Maybe on one of our homeworlds or something?"
It was worth looking to space, and she'd stand the weird of her homeworld to help! Actually, she'd have to consider asking Caedus, but she didn't know who here trusted the visitor -- she certainly did, but that was more personal.

Oh. Subra blinked, surprised and watching the youma go. Oh. That was...well, that was new. She looked over to Forte, then moved closer to the older girl, eyeing the broken collar with disgust and caution. "The only ones who deserve that kind of thing are the people who think they're good to use. And even then...Two wrongs don't make a right." Cliche, certainly, but it was true!
Lysi's words had her nearly turning white, however, eyes wide. "W-what?" Youma, the monsters who were terrorizing the city at the behest of the Negaverse...had been people? Lenka and Horatio hadn't mentioned anything like that..."They were people?" People...people meant they'd had friends. Families. And they...oh. Oh she felt a little sick now. "And we've...oh. Oh no. We have to find a way to help them. They've got friends or families missing them! And we've...oh." She needed to tell Massalia and Almary later. And Lenka, if she didn't know. And...oh. Oh no. Maybe she could sneak over to Daniel's later and cry in him. Or cry in Reed. Reed wouldn't ask if she didn't want to tell him. He was the best big brother that way. She looked over to Elpis. "I don't think there's anything on mine. My...my homeworld is just...forest. I haven't even found ruins.” But one of the others...maybe?
“I definitely want to help, though. Everyone deserves to see their family again. Even...even if a youma used to be a bad person, they still had people who cared. And the people who weren’t bad definitely have people who miss them! Like your friend, Lysithea.”

"Seems like a good enough goal to me," Sailor Forte said, and after a moment's hesitation, reached out to put a hand on the chibi senshi's shoulder. Subra was clearly younger than her, and hadn't seen the dark side of humanity quite so face-to-face as she had. "If these things are being made, it stands to reason there'd be a way t' reverse the process... maybe not one that anybody knows yet, but there's probably something."
She shrugged, not really able to articulate herself better, but... she had barely even been in this war yet - she just didn't know enough! "I mean... nobody here's gonna say you can't change into a superhero, complete with free outfit change, and it wasn't all that long ago every one of us probably figured that was impossible, too. So... I'unno. Just seems to me like it could be out there, since we're here."
And because there were talking cats. Talking cats meant damn near anything was possible, one way or another.
"Probably needs more'n one person to figure it out, too. I'm not good at much besides fighting, but if there's any way I can help... denying the bad guys their cannon fodder while saving them sounds pretty good, to me."
Now she was going to... to....
Stand here and look uncomfortable, actually, because boy that had been weird to say.
Adria's eyes snapped to Lysithea inquisitively and he cocked his head in her direction. He hadn't known about her friend, and while he had a dozen questions, he wound up just slowly shaking his head. Now wasn't necessarily the best time to talk to her about it, but he wasn't going to leave her hanging or abandon her if she needed their help.
He felt a pull in his heart and he nodded before he reached out a hand to rest on Lysithea's shoulder. Everyone else seemed so supportive-and it felt right.
Usually being surrounded by so many people made him feel awkward--moreso when they were standing so close that their hands were brushing together. Now though, he just felt all right.
Things felt right.
A warmth spread through him, like some sort of ethereal hug. It spread through all of them--something had clicked. Maybe they hadn't destroyed a youma, maybe they hadn't saved it, but they'd done something right.
And a phrase popped into their heads so suddenly that they had no choice but to focus on it.
Sailor Teleport.
The sensation of being pulled away was strong; he gripped onto Lysithea tighter and grabbed the hand of the Senshi closest to him.
