Ariya smiled fondly as she listened to Ujana talk about her sister. It was interesting. What it must be like to have siblings. It made her wonder if Subira could benefit from such a thing in ways she had not. As she was asked if she thought that she was strong now she gave a chuckle and shook her head. "No, I am not as strong as I wanted to be but I am happy to have my little girl." he alkidike paused for a moment more as she thought about the things she was happy for. "I am happy to have you as well." And it was the truth surprisingly.

"How long will it take for you to.. er.. be blessed... with a child?" Ariya might have spent some years roaming the earthling culture but that is something she still didn't know how it worked.

So there would be a few weeks to a few months that she would have to deal with an earthling man. Ariya made a face. It was clear the idea of the longer time wasn't something she liked but she said nothing. Instead she nodded her head and toyed with the end of Ujana's hair. She wrapped it around her fingers gently and watched as it worked it's way off again.

"It depends on the Alkidike that is asking. Some just go up and ask while others make it more ceremonial." Ariya had brought an offering along with her. "I had no partner with me so I simply asked the Great Mother. Well.. I rambled actually. I was nervous." A small chuckle was given as she seemed to mock herself about her nerves.

Her mouth formed a thin line as she gave Ujana a skeptical look. Ariya wasn't so sure of that. And she hated sharing things. Still, it was what her temptress wanted so there was no nay saying her. "I never said I was good at sharing or that I liked males." There was a smirk that slowly spread.

With the hair being replaced with the earthling's hand the chubby Alk started to rub her thumb along the fingers. It was something that helped keep her mind from going elsewhere.

"She must have. I think I told her a time or two that I wasn't sure I was ready. I guess she looked into my heart and found that I was. Subira is a precious gift and I would give her anything in this world.' Thankfully it seemed that her daughter liked Ujana and wanted to stay in Tale for a while longer. "I would give you anything as well so I hope both of my sweet girls will get along." Ariya also hoped that Subira wouldn't mind Ujana's relations with another earthling. Or the child that would result from it.

She gave a grumpy sort of mumble and looked away. "Don't like sharing." Ariya then rolled her eyes, not that it was all that noticeable, and grinned right back at Ujana. "The thought hadn't occurred to me, but I suppose putting a boy in a dress would work." The chubby woman laughed at the idea and shook her head. She didn't think she would do that, though the idea was tempting.

"If you have a son then I shall make sure he knows how to fight as well as his mother." She would not chance her beautiful earthling's son getting hurt because he didn't know how to fight. She was thinking about Subira and how protective she was of her hybrid male friend and thought that she might also feel that same protective nature for a boy if he were born to Ujana.

When she was poked in the chest her thoughts stopped and came back to focus on what was at hand. Ariya leaned forward and eyed the leafling. "What if I came here specifically to talk? What if I wanted to bore you all night?" It was true that talking had been the farthest from her mind so there was no threat of the two being bored in the hours to come. If allowed then she would steal a kiss from Ujana.

"People will know." Ariya nodded as she spoke. There was a certainty in her voice that said she was absolutely sure no one would need to be told whose child it was.

As she was excused from the room, sarcastically, she looked toward the door then at Ujana. "Ah, well a girl knows when she's not wanted." There was an exaggerated sigh as the chubby woman got to her feet and turned toward the door. "Only a few hours left until sun up and I don't want Subira to wake up without me.." Ariya peeked over her shoulder at her leafling to see if she was truly going to be let out without any affection. A game really since she had no intention of leaving the room anytime soon.

As she was grabbed and prevented from getting away she laughed and even pulled her arm away from Ujana in a playful manner. "That so?" While she knew she would be tired in the morning she didn't seem to mind. The long haired woman before her was what her focus was on at the moment.

So she moved so that she could turn and kiss her temptress before climbing onto the bed with her. Ariya had missed her and wanted to make up for the lost time but she only had a few hours. So she made a whispered promise that their lost time would be given back as she gave Ujana all of her attention for the next several hours.
