♡Trying her hardest not her roll her eyes when Nicholas yelled at her, Tegan wondered what caused him to be so angry. It couldn't have been her, she was a teenager, he wasn't even sure why he stayed. He could leave and come back right before her parents got home and collect what ever amount of money they offered him, Tegan wouldn't snitch. How could she know if he didn't go to the upstairs guest room, there was another set of stairs at the end of the house, it was a small, tight staircase but it took you upstairs. Shielding her eyes from the bright lamp, it pained her head because it was so bright. "This wouldn't have been a problem if you would have helped me up the stairs, Nick." Tegan mentioned but didn't argue, watching him turn the lamp off and laid back down. It was weird that he didn't force her out of the room, but told her to get to bed because it was so early in the morning.
"Goodnight Nick." She said and laid down next to him in the queen size bed, stealing some of the blankets. The girl fell asleep almost instantly, slowly stealing more blankets, Tegan was a blanket hog and knew it too.

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EIt was blatant that Nicholas had given up when he didn't kick Tegan out of the room. As long as she stayed on her side of the bed, everything would be fine. Although, he eventually did get up and put on his pyjama pants and shirt before finally going to sleep. He would feel uncomfortable laying in bed only half dressed with a seventeen year old girl lying next to him.
Waking up on his own the following morning, Nicholas felt well rested and ready to kickstart the day. Quite the contrary to what Tegan would be feeling like in a few hours. He took it upon himself to fetch the girl a glass of water, leaving it on the nightstand along with a couple of aspirin. Once he was dressed, the male noticed her phone laying on the mattress beside her head and decided to take it while he could. She would put up a fuss otherwise. Turning it off, Nicholas slid it into the back pocket of his jeans before heading into the kitchen to make himself some breakfast - scrambled eggs with cheese, pancakes and toast.
It didn't take him long and he found that he had made too much pancake batter, so he left the couple extra pancakes on the stove for Tegan if she wanted them. He sat at the small dining room table while he ate, clad in a black button-up with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of grey jeans that fit his legs well. With his phone in hand and fork in the other, Nicholas replied to a few messages before checking his email to see if anyone had contacted him for any interviews.

♡ Waking up from the banging in the kitchen and the sunlight peaking in through the window of the guest room, Tegan let out a groan and held onto her head. The hangover was already pretty bad and she just woke up, looking at the nightstand for her phone, she noticed a cup of water and a few aspirin. Maybe Nick wasn't that big of an a*****e, taking the pills with the water, Tegan stood up and looked around for her phone, she remembered bringing it in to the guest room with her, but didn't remember where she set it down so she could go to sleep.
Walking out of the room, Tegan walked over to the main staircase and didn't see her phone either. Letting out an upset sigh, she looked over at the kitchen to see Nicholas at the dining table eating breakfast. "Have you seen my phone?" She asked, walking away and up the stairs to put some pants on. Walking into her room, she changed her shirt for a sweatshirt and put on a pair of sweatpants. Walking back down the stairs she went to the pantry to find some cereal.

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EUpon hearing Tegan moving around above, Nicholas let out a preparatory sigh for the shitstorm that was to follow. Although, as she walked down the staircase and into the kitchen, she seemed shockingly cavalier which surprised the man. He was honestly expecting her to start yelling at him demanding to know where her phone was. Instead, she simply asked him if he'd seen her phone lying around. "That depends," he began, leaving her on edge for a second, creasing his brows as if in deep thought. "Is it an iPhone 6 with pink casing? If so, than yes, yes I have." Leaning back in his chair slightly, the male shoved his phone back into the pocket of his jeans and eyed Tegan with a straight face.
"There are pancakes for you on the stove. Sit down and we'll have a chat." It was almost scary how intimidating the man could look without any effort whatsoever. It had only been a day and already he was fed up with Tegan's antics. Lowering his gaze to his plate, Nicholas finished the last of his eggs before getting up and heading into the kitchen to rinse his plate in the sink and put it in the dishwasher. He then went back to the table and sat down in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest as he waited on Tegan to join him.

♡ Grabbing a box of cereal and listening to Nicholas try to intimidate Tegan, she let go of the box and turned around. "Well, give it back." She demanded and walked towards him with her hand out, "Why do you have it anyways? That isn't cool, I wouldn't take yours." The girl was slowly getting upset, unsure what the hell was going through his brain when he thought it was okay to take her phone. This man was something else.
As he told her to get some pancakes from the stove and sit down at the table, Tegan furrowed her brows. What was this man thinking? Did he assume he was his father for the weekend or something? "No, ******** your pancakes. Give me my phone back." Tegan demanded again, she wasn't yelling yet, but was pretty close to start. This tough guy acting wasn't working on Tegan at all, he seemed like a killer and was planning on murdering her this weekend. She could tell he was some weak guy that couldn't fight and could only argue back. He wasn't some cool guy that could boss her around for a long weekend. Watching him get up, go to the sink and sit back down at the dining table, she huffed. "Seriously, I'm not ******** around."

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R E "I warned you that punishment would follow, Tegan," he started, keeping a calm, cool and collected demeanour. For now. "And yet still, you went out of your way to lie, and deliberately disobeyed me. So...your phone is mine for the duration of the weekend. I have contacted your parents to make them aware and they are perfectly fine with it. In fact, they love it." For the first time that weekend, Nicholas smiled at Tegan, strictly to taunt her of course.
While texting the blonde's father, he had told him all about Tegan's behaviour, her lying and deceit, and worst of all, her attitude. "According to your father, they have been trying and failing to get a handle on you for quite some time now, Tegan. Care to fill me in? I do love gossip," he went on, leaning back in his chair as if to get comfortable for one hell of a story. Although, he knew what was to come. Insults probably, more cussing, yelling. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if she tried to lunge at him. The male laced his fingers over his firm abdomen and looked Tegan in the eyes as he waited on her response.

♡ Running her hands through her messy hair, Nicholas seemed to make her headache hurt twice as much because he was so ******** annoying. "Well next time you shouldn't be so gullible and realize you shouldn't trust a troubled teenager that need their parents to get them a babysitter." She fought back, the older male wasn't very smart to believe her but, of course she was going to take advantage of his clueless self. "There isn't a single reason to take my phone away, Nick!" She yelled as he dared to smile at him, he was only doing it to push her over the edge, and it was working.
"I doesn't ******** matter what happened, give me my phone back!" She yelled, Tegan was nearly in his face trying to get his phone. "First of all why don't you go get a degree and get a real job, what twenty something year old babysits?" She taunted him, gathering her hands into fist, ready to throw a punch at the weak male. "All you're doing is making yourself look like an a*****e for no reason, you can leave for the rest of the weekend and come back Monday night and collect the money my parents offered you for all I care. I won't tell."

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EFirst came the insults, then the cussing and then more towards the end, the yelling. In that exact order. Tegan was practically in his face by the end of her rant and he noticed that her hands were balled up into fists of rage. He chose not to respond to the remark about him being a twenty something year old babysitter; she knew nothing about his personal life and he intended to keep it that way. The man had finished medical school three months ago and was well on his way to becoming an intern at one of the most prestigious hospitals in New York - if he chose to accept the position. To make money in the meantime, Nicholas babysat.
"Although that is a generous offer, Tegan, I'm afraid I'll have to turn it down. I may be an a*****e, but I am not a slacker," he started, completely unfazed by Tegan's aggression. "Now sit down. You are acting like a fool and my god, your breath..." He muttered in disgust, scrunching up his nose and leaning back a bit more. "Did something crawl into your mouth while you slept and die??"

♡ Rolling her eyes when Nicholas turned down her offer, he could be getting money for doing nothing, he wanted to make her weekend a living hell. "Nick, stop playing and give me my phone back, this isn't cool." She begged, as he told her to sit down "I'm not sitting dow-" Tegan was stopped when he mentioned her morning breath, she usually brushed her teeth after eating breakfast. Okay, this guy was officially the biggest a*****e she's met in her life. He didn't smell the greatest either, she could tell he uses a scentless soap bar and some old guy cologne, she wasn't sure how old he was buy he defiantly wasn't over the age of 45 to use some shitty musk cologne, she'd have to leave something that smelt nicer in the guest room to drop a few hints. Also, if he wasn't going to give her phone back anytime soon, she'd steal one of the cars and take off while he was in the bathroom. Nicholas was smart, but Tegan knew he'd forget to hide the car keys.
"You're a complete d**k!" Tegan yelled and threw her first towards his face.

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EQuickly, Nicholas snatched Tegan's wrist out of the air and immediately grabbed hold of the other one in case she tried to punch him again. Her legs were still free, so he hastily shoved the girl down onto the table using little strength and pinned her wrists against the hard surface, standing between her flailing legs. His glasses had fallen off in the process and were now lying on the floor, probably cracked. ********. Everything was a blur although he could vaguely make out where Tegan's eyes were. "Did you just try to punch me?" The Englishman questioned, furrowing his brows in disbelief as he stared down at the girl. "Over a bloody phone of all things...congratulations, you just lost your car keys, too."
He honestly didn't know what she thought she would accomplish by swinging at him. Did she peg him for some sort of weakling that couldn't defend himself against a raging, hormonal teenage girl? Must have. Once she had calmed down, Nicholas released his grip on her wrists with a scowl on his face before bending down to check out the condition of his glasses. Putting them back on his face, the male released an exasperated sigh when he spotted a small crack in the left lens and decided he would just have to live with it until he could order himself another pair.

♡ When Tegan attempted to punch Nicholas in the face, he grabbed her wrist and pinned her down on the table. She was at a loss for words because she was so surprised that Nicholas was strong enough to push her down on the table and pin her there. Pressing her lips into a line, when he questioned her about trying to punch him, Tegan rolled her eyes, "I can not stand you." She groaned, getting up from the table, <******** you." She left the dining room and ran up the stairs, locking her room door behind her, Tegan hid her laptop under her dresser.
Sitting down on the end of her bed, she was so upset with her shitty parents that they didn't trust her to stay home alone for the weekend. Tegan thought about how much of an a*****e Nicholas was, she was honestly afraid that Nicholas was some killer out to murder her. He sure did seem like one, he's only smiled once and that was to piss her off some more.

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R EStill knelt down on the floor, examining his glasses, Nicholas merely shook his head in acknowledgment when Tegan said ******** you before running up the stairs to her room. He couldn't care less what the girl thought of him. The only thing he was concerned about in that moment were his glasses. He had broken them a few other times in the past and each time his friends would tell him to just invest in a pair of contacts, claiming they would make his life so much easier.
Throughout the day, Nicholas spent his time watching movies, reading, and keeping an ear out for Tegan in case she tried sneaking out. Much to his surprise, the girl stayed up in her room for the rest of the day and only came downstairs for food, giving him no trouble whatsoever. Around nine o'clock, he was back to reading under the lamplight in the living room. He eventually hit a slow part which was when he decided to go upstairs for a shower, since the other two washrooms in the house didn't have showers.
The man marked the page that he was on before placing the book on the table for the time being. Heading into his temporary bedroom, he gathered a change of pyjamas for the night and his shaving kit; he disliked his beard. It made him look about five years older than he really was.
Before long, he was stepping out of the shower and adjusting one of the many white towels around his waist. The man was rather fit for someone who hadn't worked out since high school (when it was mandatory); he had solid six pack, along with some shoulder and back muscle. The towel hung just low enough to expose his impressive v-line and happy trail. Opening the door a crack to let out the steam that had built up in the room, Nicholas rubbed his hand in circles over the mirror so that he could look at his reflection while he shaved. His saturated brown hair was a spiky mess atop his head which gave him a cute boyish look that Nicholas didn't normally have.

♡ After sitting in silence for about a half and hour to see if Nicholas would walk into her room, Tegan finally turned her tv on and opened Netflix so she could watch more Criminal Minds. Grabbing her laptop from under the dresser, she messaged her friends on there and every time she heard the stairs creak she'd slam it shut and stuff it under the pillow and waited until the stairs creaked again until she opened it up again. When hearing the stairs creak again, Tegan stuffed her laptop under her pillow and waited, it had bee around 20 minutes now and there still was no creak of the stairs so Tegan decided to figure out where he was.
Quietly stepping out of her room, she looked around the second floor of the house, Tegan noticed the bathroom door was cracked and the light was on. How could an adult not remember to turn the light off? Letting out a annoyed sigh, she opened the door some more to turn the light off but found a naked Nicholas wrapped in a towel trying to shave. "Oh," She said, surprised he was in here, looking at him in the mirror. He was surprisingly muscular, under all those layers of clothes there was a nice body, Tegan thought he was some weak string bean looking guy. "I didn't know you were in here sorry." She apologized opening a drawer to grab a hair band to make it look like she came into the bathroom for a actual reason. Looking back up at him in the mirror, she tilted her head at his messy hair. "Could I give you a make over?" She asked, imagining how he would look if he'd had a better style choice. She understood him dress nice but he'd look better with a t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans with messy hair, no glasses and maybe a 5 o'clock shadow. Nicholas was actually pretty attractive, if only he'd invest in a set of contacts. "Please," Tegan begged.

▐█▐█▐█XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXN I C H O L A SxS A L V A T O R ENicholas was just about to apply the shaving cream to his face when suddenly the door opened up, revealing a surprised and equally confused Tegan. "Take what you need and skedaddle," he told her, treating her like he would his cousin. He wasn't angry or annoyed with the blonde in the slightest; he just enjoyed his privacy. Plus, he was standing there practically naked with only a towel to cover him. Rubbing the thick cream onto his chin and jaw, Nicholas then rinsed his razor under the light stream of warm water and lifted it to his face to start, although that was when Tegan interrupted him again.
He eyed the girl skeptically through the mirror, eyebrows furrowed. What was she up to now? "Define makeover." Nicholas could remember the last time he agreed to something like that. He had a girlfriend back in high school, Evelynn, who was in a cosmetology class, and insisted that she needed to do his makeup in order to practise for her upcoming exam. Of course, being the amazing boyfriend he was at the time, he agreed to it--and wound up looking like a drag queen. He still kept in touch with her because they lasted throughout college and broke up only about a year ago due to long distance.
She had once been the love of his life and he was convinced that they would get married and have kids. He had even started to look at engagement rings. And then, she showed up at his apartment out of the blue and said she couldn't handle the distance and that they needed to break up, after a whopping nine years of being together. His depression had got so bad that all he did was stay cooped up in his apartment for weeks on end. He didn't even attend his classes or bother to study. It had honestly felt as though the world had come crushing down on him for a very long time, and it wasn't until his friends had finally gotten through to him that he decided to pull up his socks and get his life back together. It proved to be difficult, but he managed.

♡ Watching herself put her hair into a bun in the mirror, Tegan slipped her hands into the pockets of her sweatpants and watched Nicholas shave his barely noticeable facial hair away. "I want to put make up on you and put clip on earrings on you. Maybe I can find a wig too." She smirked, connecting her eyes with his through the mirror. "I'm kidding, will you let me like style your hair and dress you differently though?" She asked, already planning on pulling those hideous glasses off his head the second Tegan gets Nicholas to let her do so. They weren't the most stylish glasses, in fact, they looked like super old grandpa glasses, she could recommend him contacts, they're not that bad. "Also, you should at least let a five o' clock shadow grow, you'd look good with it." She added and walked out of the bathroom so the older male could get dressed.
He was a nice sight to look at but Tegan didn't want to make it obvious that she was admiring how nice his body was, along with his hair not being perfectly done and without his glasses. Walking back into her room, "I promise you'll look good!" She mentioned and closed her laptop and stuffed it back under the dresser, turning the tv off, she set the remote on the night stand. Looking around her room, there were a couple of pieces of clothing on the ground so she stood up and kicked them into the corner.
