Faamy's brow rose. Searching for family that he'd never even met before? "Well, that there's some sorta challenge yeh took on," she said with a low whistle. "Still, best o' luck ta yeh."
With the agreement, she winked and skipped on through the trunks. On the other side was just another part of the village, making her tilt her head up to see the signs. "If mah recollection be any good, there's a place 'round this area fer lots o' people ta chatter. Might be someone heard o' yer folks."

He gave a small laugh and shook his head at her comment. "Not really a challenge so much as a promise to my mother before she passed." It explained why he was so dead set on it. Most people would have given up by now but he had to be stubborn.
His eyes went foreward and he thought about it. The chances that someone here had heard of or seen his family were slim but even he couldn't deny being determined to find out. "Sure, might as well check. Could find my big break here." His shoulders lifted up slightly.

Faamy paused, brow knitting thoughtfully. A promise before his mother died... "That there's a sacred promise. Good on ye ta keep true ta it." Clearly, Shea already knew this. She couldn't help voicing the thought out loud though. ..Not that there was much she held herself back from saying out loud. "Well 'ey, if yeh find out nothin', ye're no worse off than yah was before, right?"

He nodded his head as the woman beside him mentioned that the promise he was keeping was a sacred one. Shea had loyalty like no other, not that many knew that. "Thanks.. I'm hoping I can actually find them." Looking was the easy part after all.
"Heh, this is true." He'd be no worse off no matter what he found on the other side of the trees. The young man looked forward and took a deep breath. Maybe he'd get lucky and find at least a clue.

"Righto, then!" Faamy chirped, leading the way on forward. She would help out as much as she could; chatting it up with each person to give Shea an easier opening to ask his questions. After all, if she were the one looking to keep a promise to her mother, she would hope others would be willing to help her try when they could!
