"Yeah. That's also true..." He shakes his head a bit and shrugs, "I think he knows stuff, but he isn't a nice person, talking about barricading us out. And wanting money for food. That's not really nice."
Whatever else was implied slipped by him. somewhere Sylvia crooned in the back of Roland's mind but he wasn't sure why either. Her thoughts likely the same at the voice in Joy's head. Had she spoken rather then simply thought it.
"Tagalog.... a*****e.... huh. Okay." He glanced around a bit. "Do you think that Caroline lady is coming to help? She told us to wait here."

"If he doesn't wanna help, he doesn't hafta help. But why does he gotta keep saying it where we can see it?" Sometimes adults really didn't make any sense to Joy but adults did a lot of s**t that tended to be totally unfair. "Ewan, ma at pa" she shrugged, almost throwing her hands up into the air as a sign of surrender until she remembered just why she had them crossed in the first place.
"I hope Caroline is coming here. She said she'd let be borrow something important."

'I dunno maybe some peopel like to just, be heard or seen ya know?" He had tucked his hands into the pockets of his jacket which was to say his arms straight down fit in the pockets on it as they waited around.
"Well I hope she brings more snacks... or pizza.... everyone kept talking about pizza and now I want it."

"Ah, the KSP type. Um, kulang sa pansin," she explained, leaning back against the hallway's wall as she considered how, "That's weird. Most of the KSP I know are girls."
The mention of pizza had her grinning, "Some Hawaiian pizza does sound good. But I'm kinda craving adobo right now." Hey, comfort food came in all sorts of forms.

"I've never really followed those personality type things. But I guess if that's what he is it's what he is." He scrunched up his nose just a bit. "But if it matches then maybe those things really are serious. More serious then a horoscope to start, but like, actually accurate."
He was pondering it over in her head when she spoke again causing him to gasp, "Pineapple on Pizza?! Noooo you've ruinned it Joy." He sighed, "I want a fish taco, like food truck fish tacos. They always had the really good stuff."

Joy gave Roland a look of mock indignation, "Exmuseki, pineapple on pizza is the best, my cousins and I fight over the last slice!" She did tilt her head, "What's a food truck? Is it the truck catering people use?"
