Diana stood over one of her fellow Amazonians; she had won another of the training battles that were taught to each of them as a daily ritual, more so now that there was a suddenly quiet period of time in which none of the magical threats had arisen on the island. Diana had returned after months in America; she realized her duties still stood back home though she was very much so the ambassador to the Amazonians in the man's world, she still took her place of origin to heart. All came to a stand still when her telecommunication device sounded off. Bruce, or Batman's voice could be heard in a loud type of grunt as though he had fallen from a great height. Diana stood in her fight stance and listened. The other Amazons retreated, giving leeway to Hippolyta, Diana's mother. A concerned facial expression took over as she gestured her own hand over Diana's who was ready to send a message back to the league. "Diana, you do understand that your duties are great and needed here--last time you left--" Stopping her mother, she began speaking, placing one arm over her as a sign of comfort. "Mother, I understand this, but I also recognize that any failed attempt at not securing the livelihood of man could very well be the nearing end of our own. I must go, but this does not mean forever."The distress call reached Diana the second she finished her sentence. Exhaling and glancing at her daughter, Hippolyta nodded as she place her hand on her temple, the worried expression staining her own face. "Forces greater than what your group may know is possible to be of existence, after all--these sands haven't met with anyone of whom they've had great deal of history with. Be safe, my child." Bowing to her mother after a close hug, Diana quickly maneuvered her way to get her things and make her way to the destination at hand. "On my way, will arrive momentarily." In a matter of seconds, she was dressed accordingly, red and blue, tiara on her head, her knee boots on and ready to go. Making her way into the Hall of Justice though she could have surely flown there, she chose to teleport as it would rule out any more possible inconveniences. Stepping into the Watchtower via teleportation through the Hall, Diana walked by passing through until reaching the hall. She took one of the chairs, swung it around and sat then scooted her seat and leaned back. Lasso at her side, sword mounted on her back with its matching shield. Sure, it wasn't too comfortable to lean back on, but that didn't matter to her. Sitting up, Diana folded her arms and awaited the news. She saw a couple of the other members joining and sitting with her. She too was concerned and made her voice heard towards both the man of steel and dark knight. "What happened exactly...to detail?"

Traffic was a...well you know. But eventually Green Arrow and White Canary arrived at the Hall of Justice via teleporter. Ollie looked around inspecting the occupants shifting his eyes from one person to the next. He stayed silent until someone explained why they were here. The last person to enter was none other than Wonder Woman. She was also first to ask the money question everyone wanted answered. Eyes turned to Batman and Superman waiting for a response.

Traffic was always a bear in Star City, no matter what time of day or during the week it was. Didn't help the situation when it involved getting to a location in a timely manner. Arriving at the Hall of Justice, to teleport in a matter of minutes from planet side to outer space made it feel like a moment stolen from one of the Star Trek series. Strolling in tow behind Green Arrow, White Canary took the time to glance about the room. The solemn gazes told her in silence that there was trouble. "What happened exactly...to detail?" Her cerulean blue eyes settled upon a gentle, yet commanding voice directed at Batman and a muscular individual standing at his behest. However grave the situation was, she knew that they would all find out soon enough.

Another League member walked through the chamber, careful not to interrupt either Superman or Batman from explaining the situation. Red Tornado walked along the length of the table, sitting himself next to Green Lantern. Red scanned the expressions of everyone in the room, performing facial recognition upon each and every single one of them. Not that the android did not trust any of them, but rather it was a routine just to ensure everyone was who they said they were. In this day and age it was not impossible for any one of them to be impersonated .
Red Tornado could have been called a normal resident of the Watch Tower, spending more time here than anywhere or anyone else. He consistently volunteered for Monitor Duty, taking the time to study and understand as much as he could of humanity. As it was he had been within the lower levels of the Watch Tower, attending to repairs that had needed to be made along one of the reactors when he, like every other member of the league had received the call to gather. Now here he was, alongside everyone else, waiting to hear what Batman and Superman had to say. Whatever it was, it must have been grave given how rare it was for the league to gather unless absolute necessary.

News had traveled fast, from the ocean to even the comm links within his kingdom. He had moved accordingly the second it reached his ears through the sea, the poachers swimming through the deep where maybe mercy could be found from the whales ushering them back to land. His body formed through the portal of the Watchtower and unlike most, he did not jump and ask what was the meaning of the being called. There always was a reason for such a thing, so asking a reductive question was rather...trivial. He took his seat at the table, remaining composed until the arrival of the rest and the beginning of this meeting could occur. A simple gesture to notify everyone that he was there as well as a deep hearty "Hello" would suffice.

Eobard tightened his chin and slightly raised his head as he listened closely to Black Adam. His obsession with the heroes of the 20th & 21st Century served Eobard well, he was well versed in their adversaries. Those who had left their mark on history anyway, Black Adam was one of them. "We could indeed strike at whomever shows up here, they'd be outmatched." Eobard mused. He soon looked down at the ground, grinning like a mischievous child. "But why reveal ourselves yet? We have one advantage over the Justice League - they're idiots." Reverse Flash began to titter. He looked back up at Black Adam, with a sudden instance of regained composure. "--No. We're not going to their aid should anyone show up. Those second rate criminals that I sent into S.T.A.R. Labs? They lack the brilliance to comprehend the full extent of my plan, but they make for great pawns. Consider them... canon fodder, or the fog that is covering the monster that is us." Eobard stretched his neck a little and looked down from a distance away at S.T.A.R. Labs, "I doubt we'll need any of them for much longer anyway. They're breaking out their replacements. Then we have real work to do."

Before the Incident Dinah Laurel Lance, or just Dinah as she would urge people to call her by and luckily, it stuck. It had been months into the disappearance of Oliver Queen, Sara Lance, and Robert Queen. Rumors had spread about them being lost at sea, but Dinah was still hit hard from all the sudden news. Nonetheless, she continued her day job and living the rest of her days as usual. Heading out of her apartment in Starling City with her messenger bag at her side, Dinah drove to work. Once inside, she put her bag on her seat within her desk area and headed to the meeting room where she was making coffee. The news was on on the tv screen and there had been breaking news; the headline: Oliver Queen, Robert Queen Dead along with various casualties. Dinah held the mug in her hand before dropping it on the floor just as she read the headline; her sister and ex-fling were among those dead. She sped along to her desk, grabbing her things and becoming overwhelmed with negative feelings. She jolted out quitting to her boss at the time and headed to her apartment. Moving Again The next following days she packed her things and moved to Central City adopting her middle and mother's surname to stay well hidden and maintain a low profile. While moving into her new apartment there, a canary was gifted to her as a home warming gift by her neighbor. She took up any and most forms of martial arts, taking her problems or any stress out on opponents and the punching bags. This routine of part time job, gym, training, and everyday things she had to do were becoming a norm which she liked though things were going to turn for the worst or best. The particle accelerator explosion took place on one of her off days from work whilst feeding her pet. It's molecules fused with Dinah's, killing the bird instantly and Dinah as left unconscious. The blast impacted her brain in that her long term memory from birth to current events had either been very blurry or not existed in her own memory. People whom she remembered as friends or family were mere strangers now and when she came to in the hospital, she decided it was best if she kept heading south. Adventure and Settlement Dinah's Canary Cry took a while to develop, but eventually made itself known when she resided in Hubb city for a month or two. She now headed west with given headlines in new outlets such as 'Mysterious Mask Woman, or Mermaid, Chirp, and Siren.' Dinah wasn't much to stick around and be a hero or whatever they called themselves, but she knew the west coast would harbor their own teams of vigilantes given the news had sparked up interest in them. Stopping at her second to last destination, Las Vegas had been a couple of days of gambling by day and vigilantism by night. She had used her cry three times now, separate cases though and had gotten the victims to safety. That was the only reason for her doing all of this...running around--to serve justice to the defenseless. Star City brought along its own distinguished interest for bad or good, but Dinah had resided here for more than a week and had already created ties with underground gyms, some pro-athletes, and of that sort no to mention her state hopping had given her a fast majority of training on its own and her cry just put her above average. No news reports were out about some people in masks just yet. Once the night sky had fallen after the sunset, she put on a black mask, black gloves, and her leather jacket. It seemed natural to her to be out fighting crime. It flooded her with serenity and knowing that bad guys were being taken down was just the beginning of the mood it set. Glancing down from the rooftops of a building, she saw from what it looked liked--transport vehicles? What purpose were they here for? This was suspicious indeed, but she was alone with no group or anyone on standby. Keeping her cool as usual, she continued to look at what was going on, crouching behind an electricity box and careful as to not to touch it either.

Teth nodded, while Eobard explained the relative intelligence of the heroes arrayed against them. Stroking his chin in thought spoke when the man from the who has seen tomorrow finishes about the 'replacement cannon fodder.' Then the Egyptian paragon spoke quietly, "I am assuming that you have contingency plan when one of our 'underlings' is captured and interrogated by say the likes of Batman. Mortal though he may be, Batman has proven time and again in being able to ferret information seemingly from the ether."Pausing for effect, Teth-Adam continued, "Now if I may be so bold, Zoom. If we play this correctly, we could use magic to affect any interrogations -- and lead the League by the nose against a plausible patsy (I believe that is the vernacular). For example, the Church of Blood is here in Gotham...."

"This is Superman, all members of the Justice League if you're listening to this need to come to the Watchtower as soon as you can. A new threat has risen and the world needs the Justice League to put a stop to it".
As soon as he heard the Man of Steel speak into the comlink with the urgent message, Barry stopped in place. Whenever it came to the Justice League he knew that it had to be something big. A few seconds went by and a bullet went flying past him in slow motion, he had forgotten that he was currently in the middle of something. The Central City National bank was being robbed by three armed gunmen. Suddenly in a flash of electricity, he ran off to the right of them. Charging in a straight line at their sides, and disarming them with little to no effort.
With the weapons gone the CCPD could do there thing and finish up what the Flash had started. As soon as Detective West apprehended the criminals he gave Barry a quick smile and in return, Barry saluted back at him and raced off. Once he entered the Watchtower via teleportation from the Hall of Justice. Zipping through the Hallways, he finally reached his destination. As soon as he noticed that he was one of the last members to enter the room, he tried to silently sneak his way in; feeling as if he was back in Highschool trying to not get in trouble for being late to class.

Genuinely frustrated over the ease of the situation, and the lack of attention he was currently receiving, Joker checked his watch... Several actually, that lined the length of his arm, all ticking away the time for every city now being held hostage. It had been over an hour since he first started his charade, and not even a whisper, not even from his old squeeze Batman, or his brat sidekicks, who usually showed up faster then he could get through the first half of his ABCs, where were they now? He was actually offended. Clenching his jaw, unaware he had a heroic audience from above Joker hissed, sucking back oxygen through gritted yellowing teeth, "--Think I'm bluffing do they? Well, time to lay the hand out on the table boys, take our reluctant camera crew up to the roof of that apartment building, and scan the horizon towards... Hmm, eenie, meanie, minie... Mmm, ******** it...Gotham, Assuming the speedster isn't jerking us off, it'll be rebuilt, maybe... Maybe this time ol' Bats really will kill me, delicious." whirling his pale painted face about to face his men he smiled, a dastardly thing, "-If they refuse to record, toss them over the edge head first, to their deaths and keep filming," with whimpers of terror, the gunmen lead the camera crew into the apartment building while Joker waited, pirouetting atop the van like a mad ballerina.
It wasn't long thereafter that the two way radio popped to life, "-Their live boss, ready for Fireworks..." Joe didn't take his insults lightly; toggling with the complex detonator, but highly intelligent despite his decayed sanity, Joker nod, and then flipped the first switch, triggering the receiver. Instantly there was a thunderclap of noise, a variant of separate pops, as several flashes of light as bright as the sun lit up the distant Horizon, the bombs detonated, crumbling parts of Gotham to shattered glass, and burning ash as it rained below into the city, no doubt scattering body parts like a box of loose marbles. Then, Without a moments hesitation, "accidentally" on purpose, his finger slipped, this time a second detonation, crippling the city of Metropolis, though the real question begged to differ, were they dirty bombs? And was the Nuclear Warhead on display in the back of the van real? Or just one of his elaborate pranks? "-Woopsie Daisy!" Chaos reigned in these cities, the inevitable fearful looting, and mayhem beginning, as they say...when the girls are away, the boys will play...or in his case, heroes. meanwhile the clown... Laughed and danced, as if waiting for the inevitable fall of hot ash to rain down into the streets onto onlookers below... If it was one thing most had gotten wrong, was never to trust the Joker to be a sport, and not blow everything way out of proportion... At least he hadn't compromised the mission and taken STAR labs with him... Now, he needed onLy wait... Death was certainly swift on his heels... This he was certain... If they couldn't see it on the news, they'd sure as s**t see it from the Watchtower, or whenever they chose to hang their hats now days...(( So, in order to not to be a complete d**k, and have Supes or Bats beat my a** to death emotion_dowant The underlined portion was edited -nods- ))

The reckless diva watched the Joker get upset and heard him call orders and demands. Even she had to admit the whole waiting was getting tad bit old. Spinning around in circles waiting for the Justice League to arrive Harley got bored and her patience was growing real slim so she decided to take matters into her own hands. " La la la, someone gots ta pay. Mhm hey gingy you'll do." Harley said as she stuck her bat out in front of a male with red hair. Pulling him out from the crowd, she threw him onto the ground, she lifted up her bat and swung it into the the man's head. " Hey mistah! Ya gettin dis on video? Where ya at now Batsy! " Harley yelled out at the new's reporter. As she bashed the innocent bystander's head into the ground, she heard Joker's voice "-Woopsie Daisy!" within seconds of the clown pressing a button causing Gotham and Metropolis was up in flames, explosions soon began to spark in the sky. Harley ran up and kissed the Joker on the cheek. " Aw puddins ya got meh da fireworks."

"You're overthinking this Adam." Grodd stated , walking in between Adam and Thawne himself. Grodd had listened carefully to what Eobard had said earlier in regards to his 'Inner Circle'. Taking note of those present, Grodd had thoroughly approved. It would seem the Reverse Flash had chosen those individuals who were not only powerful but whose ambitions went beyond the simple acquisition of money. Between those gathered here, there was enough power at play to threaten the Justice League three times over.
Weighing the losses of those that were being 'sacrificed' with those that would soon be gained, Grodd could see that Thawne was seeking to solidify the full power of this little group. Bizarro, Parasite, Metallo and Clayface were all powerful players on the board and were well worth the possible losses of those that were now breaking them out. However, Grodd now found himself annoyed with the 'Lord' of Kahndaq. " There's no need for a contingency plan. Those being lost have no true grasp of what Thawne has planned. All they know are the identity of those present, and what to what end will that truly aid the Justice League?" Grodd pointed out, not bothering to mention that he and Thawne were the only ones aware that Batman had already seen the gathered villains. "More to the point they don't know what our next move will be and what threat do they truly present to us? Circe alone is a threat to the league on her own, as well as yourself. Or perhaps your reputation is simply inflated?" Grodd pondered, turning away from the magical champion and to the yellow clad speedster. " So tell us then Thawne, while our lesser cohorts are breaking out the new recruits, what pray tell is next?"

Hands placed flat on the round table, Batman squinted through white eyes, assessing each and every League member currently in attendance. Not everyone but good enough, he was sure those who's status remained unknown would show when it counted. Rising up from his position, he made his way over to a holographic screen that displayed the faces of various super criminals, most of them his fellow heroes would recognize with a scorn. His hands moved from side to side, up and down and left to right as he slid the faces together in a circle to organize them better than when they were all scattered. In the middle of the circle was an image of Professor Zoom also known as Eobard Thawne. Turning to face them, Batman said nothing as his gaze shifted to The Flash, wondering how he didn't pick up on this sooner. The feeling he felt in Gotham had to have come from Eobard in some way shape or form, a Speed Force pulse he believed it was called. That didn't matter now, though. It was doubtful that any of them could have stopped them alone, he had his doubts that even Superman would have fared well against the individuals he spotted within the building.
"Over an hour ago, the speedster known as Professor Zoom united a handful of super villains such as Gorilla Grodd, Circe, and Vandal Savage, among others." He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in. There were many, many more but he wanted them all to know what they were up against from the get-go, mentioning their big heavy hitters right off the bat. "We have reason to believe this wasn't a one and done thing and that they could be at large as we speak doing God knows what." Their intentions weren't evident in the slightest nor were they the least bit obvious, Grodd mad sure of that when he attacked his mind so viciously. Not even Superman could locate their whereabouts meaning at this point they could be anywhere on the planet. They were a force to be reckoned with and with and with their numbers, there would be hell to pay.
"We need to remain diligent. Their motives are a mystery therefore we have to be ready to act when we have something, the slightest bit of information to end this before it can escalate." Just as he was about to continue, several red blips across room flashed red emergency symbols prompting more holographic screens to appear. "Computer, what's happening!" He said with a sense of urgency. It's only response was in the form of showing two live feeds from two major cities. Within the screens, the orange flames of burning fire lit the night time sky, ash filling the air, and the screams of terror and agony. He turned back towards Superman, the rest of the League, then back at the screens. They've made their move. Now we make our's. The situation seemed bleak but by acting fast, they could turn it around and save as many lives as possible.
"Flash. Green Arrow. White Canary. You're with me." Nudging his head towards the Watchtower teleporters, he motioned for them to follow him towards their exit. Along the way, Batman tapped at his gauntlet sending another alert to the League members not currently present. Perhaps they'd show themselves in the middle of the crisis.

Sinestro was quite pleased to hear that the lesser participants were put in their place. He was not in perfect agreement with all of them, but there were limits to whom he would address as equals. Needless to say, Atrocitus was not among them, nor were the petty criminals he’d sooner bring to heel than call “friend”.
The Korugaran rose a brow and stroked his chin carefully to hear both Teth-Adam soon after. Grodd was quick to dismiss the contingency, but he saw the wisdom in it. “While I do see the brilliance in your suggestion, Black Adam, it may be wiser not to make an enemy where we could instead make an ally,” he said, crossing his arms and awaiting a response. “Furthermore, I see no reason not to prepare contingencies, if only to guarantee our success. This is not a question of might, but preparation.”
“There’s enough bad blood—no pun intended—directed towards the Justice League. The more we send their way, the less concern we can press towards concealing our operations. However, if we must redirect them, it can be arranged,” added Savage. With enough layering, any scheme could be hidden. He was especially knowledgeable to this fact, however, he would consider the suggestions of his fellow legionnaires. If allies were what Sinestro had in mind, he made note of potential people to seek out, such as the Parliament of Owls whom he was on especially good terms.

Eobard's face grew deadpan for a short moment before a grimace appeared over his face. "You all bring up excellent points, however, we have a contingency plan in place already. They believe we are going to time travel. I reiterate - we are not." Thawne began to fiddle with his Reverse Flash ring on his right hand, and suddenly the world began to slow down - he was reacting to something. Turning his head behind him within a matter of nanoseconds, he gazed upon a spectacle of several explosions dotting Gotham. This has to be the work of the Joker, Eobard thought to himself. A smile emerged on Thawne's face as he saw them light up Gotham. "May I present to you our distraction!" remarked Thawne smugly, he was always one step ahead. Joker had performed his job admirably. "I'd find it hard to believe if the League wasn't drawn here. Circe and Grodd, I trust you'll both able to conceal our presence here whilst our dear heroic friends are dealing with Harley and Joker" Thawne issued the Inner Circle's first mission. "--Yes. So, I'm sure some of you, if not most of you, are familiar with rather remarkable Nth metal. In the year 2259, a hidden deposit of this metal was found within the very depths of Atlantis itself. We're going to need to discover that deposit a lot sooner." Eobard stretched his neck a little, before turning to Black Adam and Sinestro. "Us three will be heading for Atlantis, with Enchantress and Metallo once he's been freed. Circe, I want you to prepare to meet with an old friend of yours, Ares. Take Parasite and Clayface with you - you'll need them, Ares will explain the plan when you arrive near Olympus." Eobard turned, facing Savage and Grodd. "You two both have an incredibly important job from here until we return, I want you both to ensure that the rest of our dear team is completely unaware of what is going on - and keep them busy. The more distractions they create, the better."Eobard then turned around facing down at S.T.A.R. Labs once more, holding out Gideon. "Gideon, I want you to transmit this message to Deadshots comlink; 'The time is nigh, both you and Killer Frost need to hurry up, release the prisoners and get out of there. Failure is not an option." Thawne knew that it was more than likely that he had been identified, Batman was not without his gadgets, there was no time to spare. He was losing his patience, it would not end well for very many if he had to break out Parasite, Clayface, Bizarro and Metallo himself.
