"Do you have a team," Anakeion said, flipping to practical like a switch had been clicked. "I know you're, like, obviously not that much younger than me, but there are a whole bunch of ******** creeps out there in the Negaverse -" she made a face, her mouth contorted into a frown - "I go out alone like this 'cause I keep a can of Mace with me, and generally people leave when you Mace them, but if you're gonna head out anyways to protect the innocent or whatever you need someone to watch your back or something beyond your magic to protect you."

A team? Seiryuu snorted out a laugh. "I do. But we're kinda new. And half the time they all get tired of me dragging them out on some wild goose chase." She was pretty sure that Genbu would rather sit on her head and make her stay put. Sighing internally, Seiryuu nodded a little at Anakeion.
"I... have noticed this." She admitted. "Is that part of the requirement to join up with them? You gotta be extra ********' creepy?!"
Seiryuu almost missed the more important part of the conversation, her mind distracted by filling in images (that she made up) of creepy Negaverse peeps. Blinking, she gave Anakeion a curious look. "Wait, does Mace work?" Okay so she probably missed the part where it was for other creeps out there. But maybe she should invest in some? If that was safe for her to carry.
"I guess... I should probably, at least, find someone that doesn't mind going out when I do." Seiryuu sighed, rubbing at her arm absently, trying to think of anyone. "I tend to come out here alone more than anything."

"You guys need to stick together," Anakeion gently chided. "But yeah, I mean...like calls to like, right? So creepy people recruit more creeps. I'm sure there's probably people who got pulled into it and can't leave -" shrug, shrug - "but I haven't met any." She didn't need to mention her brief encounter with Titanite, even if thinking about it made her cheeks go pink for a second while she sorted her thoughts out - just another trope.
"I mean, they're just human, aren't they? Mace works on them well as it would on me or you, and most of the time they seem super shocked to get hit by something nonmagical, so...but you should always go out with someone atcha back, y'know? Don't look at me, I'm a bad influence."

Okay yeah, she knew she probably should be doing more of this investigation and letting her curiosity lead her around like a lost puppy with her teammates. Or at the very lease, with someone tagging along. But there were just too many opportunities that rose up and not enough people to drag along for the ride.
"I dunno, maybe they are all just creeps." Or they just had the unfortunate luck of finding all of those particular people. Though, she couldn't quite shake the offhand comment of someone being pulled in and unable to leave... that was just horrible!
Nodding thoughtfully, Seiryuu had to admit that Anakeion had a point. They were just all people. Sort of. Some of them were questionable. "I think... I'm going to need to invest in some mace. Maybe carry around a baseball bat too." She added. And gave the other girl a smile. "I swear to the stars I will try to make sure someone is there to watch my back!" But not that she would stay out of trouble. That was really asking too much.
Laughing, Seiryuu disagreed. "Nah, you aren't a bad influence. Kindred spirit maybe?" Okay, she may have missed the whole point. But she just grinned.

Anakeion snorted -- it was an inelegant noise, but she had awful Mexican food in a bag on her lap and hair that was frizzing something awful in the night air -- nothing about her was particularly elegant, anyways. "Low-level creeps, too. They power up, yeah? So if they're just as strong as you and me, that means they're either new or they really suck at the whole 'evil empire minion' thing, I'd think." Not that she was going to claim to be the most talented defender of love and justice and beauty and truth there was, or the most active one, but she tried! Sometimes. Occasionally.
"Want me to walk you home or whatever, just to make sure neither of us get jumped?"

Huh. She hadn't actually bothered to consider that before. Maybe because she was still running about trying to figure out this whole senshi business. And what everyone actually did. But, Seiryuu had to admit made total sense.
"I... never thought on that. But that might give me a leg up in knowin' if I should be running like hell... or might stand a chance." Right? Riiiiight.
Okay, maybe she should work on figuring out what all she was capable of first. Then she could try defending herself. Maybe. If life was simple and fair. Which it most certainly was neither. Seiryuu shook her head, storing away some bits and pieces of this whole conversation that might be useful later (or at least the pieces she'd caught).
"Oh, um. I guess if you want to. I mean, I won't say no." Was that normal? "I don't live too terribly far."

Anakeion cracked her knuckles -- stood up, stretching -- she balanced her bag of terrible Mexican food against one hip and extended the other arm to Seiryuu. "Well, come on. Let's get going, huh? I've had enough people yell at me for goin' solo all the time that I can't let anyone else do it in good conscience."Kyrieko FTB on your post i think!

She gave a hearty laugh, taking the offered arm. "Well, at least I know that I wasn't the only one going about this all solo like." Of course, she was a newb at this and probably really should take Anakeion's advice...
Maybe. One day! If she could wrangle anyone fast enough to go out patrolling. Or exploring. Daekie FIN! <3 Anakeion, you tried SO HARD to make her understand |D
