Roxi found herself in quite a position with only mere seconds to react. Riyak had charged her and she dodged just in time to miss his sword. Skipping over to the next marble slab, she knew she needed distance from him. Luckily for her it was a bit of a jump and she hoped that the water between them would deter the man-beast.
Taking a deep breath, she began to manipulate the water up into an orb forming it into a weapon of its own. The sludge was throwing her off a bit, but she was able to manage to encapsulate a bit into her sphere. With a powerful push, Araxie heaved the sludge filled orb at Riyak, with hopes that it would slow him down....or anything.
Pulling her dagger from its sheath, she whispered to it in her native language. Once more it grew into a cutlass and she began watching the patterns of the eels below her. She was forming a plan and she needed their armor. Manipulating the water once more, she heaved two of the beasts in gold, up onto her marble slab. Dancing about their snapping jaws and blasts of electricity, she managing to plunge her sword into them, cleaving them in two. With nimble fingers, she removed the golden armor, grimacing at the aftershocks of electricity during their death throes.
Araxie secured the gold to herself as she turned her full attention back to Riyak, attempting to judge his next move. Without hesitation, she flung another bubble of water in his direction, this one containing a rather angry eel in silver.

Riyak blade came down barely missing Roxi as she managed to avoid his attack at the last moment. Riyak's blade continued colliding with the marble slab, splitting it in half causing the black liquid to splash all over the slab that was now two. Riyak avoided the liquid, however one of the eels slithered upwards and leapt out at Riyak. The eel wore silver armor, and for a minute Riyaks vision seemed to flicker causing him to leap back, leaving the eel to flop on the marble, for about a second before Riyak cleaved it in half with his blade. Blood spattered across Riyak's face though he didn't really care his focus was not of his own currently, he was just told to kill. However as he turned around he saw Roxi had formed a large orb of the liquid around them, and while Riyak tried to dash towards her before she launched it, and while he made it roughly halfway he was too late and the orb of liquid hit him. Riyak was sent flying backwards as the force of the liquid carried him right into the rest of the liquid below. Riyak was completely submerged in the liquid, he couldn't hear or see anything, that was until an eel sunk its fangs into his shoulder. Pain tore across his body as electricity from the eels fangs coursed through him. Riyak roared in pain before his aura went berserk for a moment. all the liquid around Riyak was pushed back, the eel latched to his shoulder was blown apart in the process, after which he managed to leap back to one of the marble slabs, letting everything flow back to the way it was before. Blood stained Riyak's shirt red as his wound from the eels's bite bled, however he made no reaction towards his wound, to Riyak it was like it wasn't even there, he was only told to kill, or at least he used to be. As Roxi fastened the gold to herself Riyak felt her mind now connected to his own. For a moment there was a struggle as to what mind held Riyak. While the eels were individuals and held a weaker control than Roxi now who had more gold now, and while normally she would have control, all of the eels thought the same thus having the same command making it all the more powerful. Riyak fell to one knee as his head felt as if it were going to break in half. "Kouma... kouma, KOUMA RAE!" Riyak yelled as he gripped his forehead. Thats when something snapped as neither side could establish dominace over Riyak's mind. Slowly Riyak got up "Korusei! Korusei, Korusei, KORUSEI!" Riyak yelled as he stood up, something was clearly wrong, his aura darkened to an almost black colour, "Ka'to... Ka'to vare kous tet kou!"

As the ball of water was hurled at Riyak once more, this time he held out his hands and as it touched his hands his aura spread through it allowing him to catch it. Riyak dug his feet into the ground as he skidding backwards from the force of the liquid, eventually stopping it a couple feet before the edge of the platform. The eel in the water bubble lunged towards Riyak as he stopped, and immediately he felt the pain from the silver "Korusei!" he yelled before throwing the ball of liquid back off the edge he was near allowing the effects of the silver to dissipate. Riyak then began walking towards Roxi again. All the wild his mind was in a state of chaos as it tried to side with either Roxi's mind or the eels, this chaos brought out a new monster one Riyak himself didn't even realize existed. Riyak's black aura soon gathered around his right hand forming a black orb "VARL!" he roared before letting lose blast of his aura that rocketed towards Roxi

Araxie attempted to to create a wall of ice to act as shield between herself and the incoming aura attack. Sadly, she was half-seconds too late and the ball of energy smashed through her half frozen shield and rammed into her chest. Letting out a scream, Roxi plummeted into the water. In mere moments, the eels were upon her. The already murky water began to catch a reddish tint as blood began mixing from beneath the surface.

Suddenly a bright blue light shown from beneath the sloshing waters and Araxie shot up through the pandemonium, seeming to use the water as a jet propulsion, and threw herself into the furthest slab, gasping for air. Her body was riddled with wounds from multiple teeth and her armor was scarred from the aura blast. Internally she could feel much more damage going on. Her tattoos seemed to have a life of their own, shimmering and dancing across her body, to each wound mark, closing them so no more blood loss would ensue.

Slowly, the woman hoisted herself to her feet with a groan, revealing that she had stolen three more sets of the golden armor. Gathering her energy, she began berating Riyak with a quick succession of frozen orbs. "Calm yourself, else you'll kill us all!" She spoke softly.

Riyak was fast to follow his attack, quickly after his strike hit Roxi he made it to the marble slab she had been standing on. He passed by the shattered ice before walking to the edge of the slab and looked down at the dark liquid, he watched as red began to swirl upwards. Riyak wasn't satisfied at that though. Another black orb of his aura swirled in his palm and held his hand up above his head, before suddenly he bloodlust took complete control "Varl!" he yelled before he unleashed a massive beam of his aura into the dark liquid, the water parted as Riyak's attack barreled forwards hitting the eventual ground ending with a small explosion, however Roxi wasn't caught in it, Riyak in his bloodlust failed to notice that she had gotten to the furthest slab. Riyak grew infuriated and began launching blast of aura into the water all around him "Varl, Varl, VARL!" he yelled as explosions rocked the slab he was on. Riyak only realized his opponent was no longer in the water when he felt Roxi's influence increase due to her having more gold. Riyak turned to see she was bloodied from the eels, though it seemed she was able to close the wounds, and there was still the one wound she had from directly taking one of Riyak's own attacks. The battle in Riyak's mind was much more slanted towards Roxi now as her newly acquired gold helped her influence over Riyak spread. Riyak once again gripped his head, the pain he felt earlier had increased with Roxi's presence growing. Riyak shook violently as he felt his head break apart from the inside, or so it felt. But as he pain became more manageable it was clear Riyak hadn't succumbed just yet, Roxi was close but she wasn't there just yet. Suddenly Riyak felt pain erupt in his shoulder as a chunk of ice hit him. It wasn't alone either as several more chunks began battering Riyak. Through the ice he heard Roxi's voice she yelled something to him while Riyak didn't respond he didn't move either, for a moment there was a battle in Riyak's mind, deep down he was there and with his mind under no direct control for a moment his eye's dulled. Before the final chunk of ice sent Riyak tumbling back. For a moment everything seemed to go silent, Riyak remained unmoving for a moment, before he slowly pushed himself upwards. Blood trickled down his arms from the gashes that the ice had created. His eyes remained closed for a moment before he suddenly punched the ground at full force causing the slab to crack. As Riyak brought his hand back up blood dripped from his knuckles, put the pain didn't even register on his face, and as he opened his eye's his piercing red eyes were still active, if anything he seemed more pissed off than anything, however if one were to truly look at Riyak his gaze wasn't as sharp anymore it seemed his scarlet eyes had dulled a little, perhaps there was still a little bit of Riyak struggling inside of everything.

Riyak's aura suddenly flared to life, the black aura flowed around him like a dark mist, except this time it was different than just showing off his aura. Ripples appeared in the water before the slab Riyak was standing on began to shake, causing the cracks within it to only grow. The ripples in the water soon became waves and at that point it was clear Riyak was ready to end everything. Even the eels which had been circling around the slab swam as far away as possible as they sensed the power building within Riyak. Slowly he spread his arms apart and as he did his aura began forming two sphere's in his palms "Ka'to sera bokonu" Riyak said as power welled up in his palms. Soon he brought his palms together and in turn he brought the two sphere's together. The pressure wave that the single sphere emitted was massive and it was clear this was it, this was Riyak's finishing move. Yet as he was about to launch his attack, something happened Riyak's body felt heavy, he felt unable to launch the attack. If one could look past the black sphere and were to look at the lycanoid they would see him shaking, and if they looked real close they might see a few tears streaming down Riyak's cheek. He didn't want to do this and now it was a physical battle inside his body as all of the gold in the arena was as far away as possible, with the eels on the edges of the arena fleeing the power they feared, and Roxi on the furthest slab, Riyak was now fighting desperately for control. Looking over at Roxi Riyak began to speak, but it was no longer his native language "Roxi... Roxi run! I can't keep... I... I'm slipping, ROXI!" Riyak yelled as before he clenched his teeth in pain "Korusei! Ka'to vare KOU!" Riyak yelled as he swapped back, yet the battle for control still ran rampant, noticed to Riyak though, perhaps what had allowed him to fight back was something he failed to notice in the heat of battle, at his feet something was shining, it was small but it was having an effect, like a lifeline allowing Riyak to try and wrench free control of himself, a small silver cross, the one Lyndis gave him, was laying just at his feet

Roxi took the only moment she could to catch her breath. Her body ached and her head was pounding; deep inside she could feel that at least four of her ribs had been broken. Clutching her sides, she scanned the arena. In the far corner she spotted the faint glint from the hilt of her cutlass. It was useless to try and obtain. To her surprize in the other direction she could see the eels almost...cowering? What the... It was then when she brought her attention back to Riyak. The lycanoid had become dark, the cloud of aura, malicious. The entire sight brought chills to her and for a moment she was at a loss of what to do.

The sinister sphere was growing massive and the dark energy it admitted was intense beyond all belief. Araxie scanned the crowd and they seemed ignorant to the fact that they could all possibly die in moments. She shook her head gently and braced herself for what she knew she had to do. Growling loudly, the woman raced toward the manbeast, mindful of the broken marble slabs. Pulling mana from the surrounding waters, she formed a javelin of ice and upon her arrival, she plunged it deep within Riyak's chest. The action causing them both to fall backwards into the waters.

Araxie rose from the water, gasping for air. She knew the ice found home and pierced the lycanbeast, but she knew not how it would affect him or if it even would. Her only goal was to disrupt that dark attack at all cost. However, now she found herself face to face...

Riyak's body continued to shake as he tried to hold himself back, yet all the while the energy within the sphere he created grew, everyone was in danger, the power that was welling up it had the potential to destroy the arena. Yet as Riyak fought against himself he suddenly noticed Roxi charging towards him, an javelin made of ice was in her hand and she leapt at Riyak. In that moment Riyak felt strength well within himself, with every last ounce that was himself he held his Lycan form back, if Roxi could pull this off she could end everything, she could save everyone here. Suddenly Riyak felt the ice javelin pierce his chest, the power of which sent both Riyak and Roxi tumbling backwards into the waters below, in the process the massive orb of Riyak's aura faded. While Roxi swam back up, Riyak sank, he felt his blood draining out, tainting the dark liquid around him, though the eels kept their distance, as his body still emitted the pure malice that it had before. Riyak though for once in his life came together as one "Se teh rae?" he asked himself, wondering if this was the end. Everything seemed to grow darker as Riyak sank, his eyes slowly reverted back to their normal state and his aura faded, it would only be minutes before the eels would be on him, but Riyak was okay with that. Riyak smiled slightly, if this was to be his end he would be glad that his last moments would be as himself, not as the demon that was his other self, he took comfort that he met two people Lyndis and Roxi who had heard his story, well Lyndis did at least, and saw what he was yet still were able to see past that. While Lyndis called him a demon, he knew that she must have seen past it as she allowed him to live and even listened to Riyak's story, and Roxi had accepted him and had not cared about his other form, in a way Riyak was happy that it was coming to an end at her hand.

Yet as Riyak closed his eyes prepared to accept his fate, he suddenly felt a power growing within himself, Riyak's power suddenly began growing, it was surpassing his limits, as Riyak's eyes opened again he saw there was no chains binding him, somehow he circumvented his bindings, if only for a moment. Why! I was at peace! Why can't I just die now, I don't want this! Riyak thought to himself before his eye's went a more brilliant shade of red than ever before, the glow of his eyes cut through the dark of the waters and those on the surface would be able to see his eyes shining brilliantly, like two red stars in the night sky. The sky above seemed to darken as Riyak's eyes shone through the dark waters, it was as if a calamity was coming. Suddenly, the entire arena began shaking as Riyak's true power was unchained. As his feet touched the bottom of the arena, as the eels closed in, Riyak swung his arm and let his aura fly, the water in the arena was evaporated in an instant, the eels around him were obliterated along with the water, armor and all and Riyak was revealed at the bottom of the arena his eyes were a brilliant red and perhaps more surprising the ice that Roxi had attacked him was still lodged in his chest, rather it was still rammed right through his chest, yet he stood in the center of it all unfazed. "Ke somu. Ka lo tet sera" Riyak spoke, his words echo'd through the arena ringing through everyone's ears, even in his own language the meaning of these words were clear to all those who heard them 'No more. I am the end'

Riyak's aura suddenly flared to its extents, its full potential unbound. The very stadium began to shake and cracks formed across the whole structure. Riyak's attention then turned to Roxi and began focusing his aura. The sphere of his aura dwarfed the one he created moments ago, it was clear Riyak intended on obliterating everyone here with this attack, yet as he was about to launch it Riyak froze. He felt his heart pulse throughout his body, and suddenly his eyes rolled back into his skull and he collapsed, the massive sphere of energy vanished as he fell. Chains formed around Riyak again rebinding his power back to the levels it was at before he went berserk, before vanishing as his power was resealed. Riyak was out cold, his body was only propped up slightly by the ice javelin that had pierced his body completely through. The match was clearly over, Riyak had lost. Medical teams soon poured into the arena and gathered around Riyak. The crowd was silent a everything had happened so rapidly it was hard to take in a moment ago Riyak was threatening to end everyone in the arena, and now he was on the ground and the battle was over

Cursed be this arena! The gods do not wish for the battles to reach their grand finale, so we shall hope for the best for the next one.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I declare this match ended and grant 120Damien120 the victory through forfeit! There will be no voting for this match and don't forget to add the proper amount of F&R to your profile.

The historic relics will describe this day as such: the intensity of the battle as it was coming to its end wounded Araxie far too much for her common sense to allow her to continue. Thus' she decided to step back and have her wounds tended to whilst dodging vicious attacks from Morphangills.

Congratulations, Riyak!

The doors of the Coliseum slide open slowly. You hear the cricking of chains every inch the door moves. A thick fog rolls in. As you step out into the Coliseum you find it difficult to see anything but the whirling fog itself. A booming voice appears, "LAAADIIEESSS AND SKAGLINGS!!! I GIVE YOU THE FOURTH MATCH COMBATANTS!" The fog cleared with a gush of wind that temporarily revealed the Coliseum in full. The combatants were each on a stand that was raised several feet above the ground. A burst of applause from the cloud as they saw the three combatants. The Coliseum had a large two story tall round structure in the middle. There was a very obese man standing next to a man who was incredibly malnourished and thin. "IN THIS FIGHT WE WILL HAVE 3 COMBATANTS!!!" Another roar from the crowd. The fat man was already sweating profusely, he grabbed a towel from the thin slave and wiped his forehead with it. This was a typical sight in the Skaglands, an obese master, and a frail slave. The Baron then spoke more quietly. "We will unleash 300 small Skagpaws into the Coliseum. 100 for each combatant. Each set of 100 will be colored to match a combatant" He paused to breathe heavily. Apparently each combatant had 100 Skagpaws that belonged to them, and were racing on their behalf. "The Skagpaws will race 10 laps around this centerpiece. The combatants will fight as they race. Their job is not only to fight the other combatants, but if they want to win the favor of the crowd, to destroy as many of the enemy's skagpaws as possible!" This was another Skagland scheme to raise money. Whomever had the most Skagpaws at the end of the race would win the favor of the crowd, as the crowd would be betting on the race, as well as the fight. The race did not determine the victor of the fight. They were both separate yet conjoined. "There is one thing the players ought to know though, Skagpaws may be tiny raptors that seem innocent enough, but a single bite will paralyze part of your body for some time. If you meddle in the race, you might lose the fight!" The Skagpaws were indeed only about one foot tall raptors that had tiny fangs. They wouldn't normally pose a problem for any fellow, but there were 300 of them. The Obese man spoke one more time to clarify, "Being paralyzed isn't really the problem, the problem is what they do to you if you can't get out of the race track quick enough." The Baron grabbed the towel to wipe his forehead again, and then shoved his frail slave off the large centerpiece and into the track where the 300 Skagpaws were. Instantly he was swarmed by dozens of them. Bloody pieces of flesh could be seen flying through the air as he hopelessly screamed. The Crowd gasped in horror, but then roared in bloody delight soon after. This was the way of the Skags after all. A bridge was then let down to allow the combatants to make their way to the center piece. The Baron had disappeared into the fog, only to reappear at a place of honour in the royal seating section. "LET THE RACE, AND FIGHT COMMENCE!!" A loud firework was then launched to start the race. The Skagpaws started to furiously run around the center piece. Dust picked up from below, and fog was released into the lower parts of the Coliseum to make it difficult to see the Skagpaws without going down into the fray itself. The three combatants stood on the circular platform. Classic arena style.

Details
-You can choose the color of your Skagpaws.
-Your Skagpaws will attack you, or anyone who gets near them, they don't differentiate between people.

xxx Fahim looked around the Coliseum, hardly remembering being called here. He watched in horror as the morbidly obese man put on his morbidly obscene show. The last was hardly necessary and made Fahim grind his teeth. If it was up to him, he would see nearly every one of the Council members deposed. It made his blood boil just thinking about how he treated that man. If this tournament wasn't for a spot on the Council, he would have entirely ignored the competition and turned his focus on the man, solely. It was hard enough to keep focus even with such a grand and noble ambition before him. His eyes glanced over and locked with Nike's and Mayrae's, the two people he had felt a strong attachment to. (And a drawing towards Ash, as well.) Strong emotion welled beneath the surface as thoughts of the possible fates of his family members obviously rushed to mind. The Naoirians treated their slaves better, if only by a margin at times. The core of the problem lay with his homeland, the Skaglands, where much slave trafficking began. He had to focus, he had a goal he needed to accomplish and the drive wouldn't let him do anything else. As soon as the match began, he raised his hands in front of him, his eyes glowing a bright blue. "Nebalba Ceciditio Celacurum!" As Fahim spoke, he twisted his hands, pulled elbows in, opened his palms and then extended them outward. He didn't want to reveal all of his tricks right off of the bat, but this one was honestly a commonly used one of his. The entire time he spoke, a white mist arose from around him, runic glyphs shining on his arm as they were activated. A considerably small amount of runes considering how complex his projections could get. The white mist swirled outward more and more, obscuring more and more of him and that around him until it covered a radius of about 30 feet in an direction thickly, thinning out over another ten feet before streaming away in wisps. If one wasn't crazy they would almost say that just before the fog completely hid Fahim that he just . . . disappeared. It would be far harder to find Fahim in the fog than one might think. But, strangely, he seemed to not be focusing on the Skagpaws. Was this a diversion?

Mayrae felt apprehension as she approached her designated spot in the mists that blanketed the entire arena from her perspective. She was eager to match her skills to her opponents. She honestly wouldn't mind losing her life in a contest like this one. For the occasion she even pulled down her hood, revealing her Drow features. She was grinning eagerly. Once the initial mists rose and the announcer, a rotund man, whom she felt an innate dislike for. Slavery was common in where she came from, but at least the Drow kept them in proper working condition. A starving slave was a weak slave. The weak died in the cavernous deeps from whence she came. The female gazed over to the other combatants. She recognized one. One of whom she had hoped to get to fight. Mayrae hoped that Fahim would not hold back against her in the slightest. Anything less then a 100% would feel like an insult upon eachother's name after all. She drew forth her sword in her right hand. She had to leave most of her concealed daggers behind for this match. She had in fact, only taken one with her into the ring. That and the chain she often used in combat. Mayrae did not care for the race below, as it was explained. She scoffed to herself, at the greed of man amusing her... until she realized when it came to coin she was not that much better, what did bother her however, was how the obese man just shoved down the poor slave. Her initial instinct had been to jump into the fray herself to try and rescue the poor human. However, she'd never have been there in time, instead she looked away from the gory spectacle. Such a pointless death was a waste. Such an utter waste. She hadn't much time to ponder on the event, as the bridges lowered themselves. and thus she made her way to the centerpiece of the arena. A battlehungry grin almost splitting her face apart. She was more then ready to test her mettle.

She stood still, watching. Waiting for the other two to act. The point of her blade kept directed to the ground behind her, as she went for a twohanded grip. Fahim called forth a similar mist as were visible in the arena before the fighters. She dashed forward, at full speed, deciding to charge into the battle straight up. The sunlight stung her unprotected eyes, but right now she had no time to worry about it. Fahim's projection would give her a slight advantage, as she would not require to see to fight anyhow. Not to mention, the slight shadow it would cast on the ground... Once in the fog surrounding her opponent, she waited, listened. Her sword raised, ready to react at the slightest sound. Unconcerned with the danger of it all. She revelled in it. Despite the obscuring fog, her memory combined with her spatial awareness left her knowing exactly where she was. She was not so easily disoriented by mere fog, however, finding her opponent would be a slight bit more difficult. She called out. "You better not hold back, Fahim. Come at me if you dare." Her voice gleeful and eager to do battle. Of course this way she gave up her position, but that was the point. Her senses were finetuned, and her reflexes sharp so despite not seeing more then swirling mist, she'd prove a difficult target.

" x Nike was disgusted. She could feel her old arena habits returning, the tenseness in her shoulders, and the blinding rage that powered her through to victory the first time. All of a sudden she was the little girl staring up at some other fat b*****d giving a bone crunching speech about the glories of the arena. Her whole body tightened up at the thought, and her unbridled rage crashed through her like a cannonball through a window. This was why she fought. So no little girl would have to go through what she went through. So no one would have any power over another humans rights. Nike almost leapt up into the rafters to end the man that pushed his slave to the skagpaws. She stopped herself just short of jumping. She had a purpose here and killing him would not further them.

She calmed her heart and went into battle mode which, lets be honest, was just the same rage she felt moments before. Suddenly the fog seemed to thicken, and Nike was not going to get lost in it. She unholstered her club and lightly tapped her foot two times, making her weigh significantly less than she had moments before. Such was her greatest asset. Her enchanted bat, which could cut ones weight into a tenth with a touch. She leapt up into the air, light as a feather and with the strength to shoot her high enough she almost lost her breath to the winds. "Cant fight a hurricane Fahim!" Nike shouted to the winds. She would come back down eventually, but she didn't have to. She could make herself as light as a feather if she wanted. Nike had extremely limited multiple target capability and she knew that. With 100 skagpaws to a person and their paralyzing effects, trying to win the race would be a stupid move for her. She still couldn't see into the fog but they sure couldn't see out of it either. For the moment she was safe to observe the next move.

xxx Fahim was not the sort for a direct assault, generally. He was not the type for offense of any sort, generally. One had to adapt, however. But, there was only so much adapting one could make in their first real fight. The memories in his head of past encounters hardly mattered. The halberd on his back was mostly for show. Mostly. Fahim 'fought' through much more meticulous methods.

Within the fog, there was silence. Eerie and uncanny silence. Not a stirring of a breeze nor a crack of a twig. Fahim was a book full of tricks, but he would only reveal as much as he had to. Fahim knew he would have to be the one to make the first moves, but that only gave him battle advantage. And Fahim did like to bide his time. The fog seemed to be growing, although it was at a fairly insignificant rate. This would be entirely unnoticeable within the fog, but from Nike's perspective, it might be picked up on. Fahim sighed mentally from his spot in the fog. This wasn't normal fog. It was summoned with a ton of written runes, three combined spoken and subtle alterations with kinetic action. This was a fully customized space as Mayrae would likely soon be finding out. In addition of closing off senses to a short range around the individual's body, the fog also had a few . . . hallucinogenic effects. If only Fahim could bide just a little more time without Mayrae noticing the specific scrolls Fahim had scattered, somehow seeming to have not moved through the fog at all. Or had he? And if only Nike would enter his domain. Just a little more time . . .
