"It's a youma," Lepus quickly explained, as this wasn't the time for long and detailed explanations (not that she could provide one). "They're evil monsters we're supposed to defeat them? I think you get the idea?"
Think, or hope? She wasn't sure.
"... Anyway, do you at least know what you can even do? Like, attacks?"

"Youma. Right." Well, at least he knew what this thing was called now. Easy enough to remember too that they were monsters to be beaten. When she asked if he knew any attacks he paused. "Uh... no. I don't." He wondered what she meant by attacks. There was punching and kicking right? Did he need to know anything else?
The youma seemed to be getting impatient now and readied itself to attack.
This was... bad? Maybe? Lepus scrambled to think of a strategy, and finally looked over at Etoile.
"Etoi should be able to help you with that!" Lepus finally said, "Keep it distracted in the meantime- I've got an idea!"
- And then she took off running, leaving the bewildered cat alone with Caliban.

Caliban wasn't too sure that he could trust the little kid, but she didn't seem to be panicking at least. She certainly had a better idea of what was happening than he was at least. And she seemed to want to help.
He looked over at the cat, Named Etoile apparently, with a look on his face that said, "What?". But what he said out loud was, "Well... do you know how I defeat this thing?"
Etoile thought about this, and thought about it some more. Strategy wasn't her specialty, as much as she liked to think she was of some help to people, and like the little senshi she was attached to, coming up with a strategy on the fly was even less of something she was good at.
"Try hitting it, and saying something like... 'Seal Away'!" she not-so-helpfully suggested.

The talking cat didn't seem so sure about her suggestion, but Caliban could only take her advice for right now considering he had no idea what to really do in this situation. "All right, I'll try that then." He stood up and got himself ready to finally attack the... thing, and at the same time it had decided that it would attack too.
It growled and then took a leap! Caliban steadied himself and threw out his fist while yelling "Seal Away!" And hitting the youma squarely in... what could be described as it's head.
"Good work!" Etoile cheered, though it wasn't entirely clear to her as to what the attack did, other than that Caliban had done something. Well, Lepus would be back soon, and that was the part that mattered. Still, she readied a star beam just in case- she'd never had to use it before, but there was a first time for anything, right? The little cat was confident that their plan would succeed, though, without the need for her intervention. Waiting patiently, but keeping an eye on the youma, Etoile listened carefully for her little senshi's return.
A few moments passed, maybe what seemed like an eternity to cat and senshi. Just then, a voice rang out from somewhere in the vicinity of outside the shop, clearly belonging to Lepus, though it wasn't clear as to where exactly she was, out of line of sight as she happened to be.
"Over here!"

Over here!
Lepus tricks an opponent into feeling compelled to go chasing after what they believe to be Chibi Lepus running away from them. Once they get close enough (3-5 feet, within reaching distance), 'Chibi Lepus' turns out to be a fake, an illusionary white rabbit that promptly poofs away. This does not work from a short range- Lepus must put some distance between herself and the opponent, and relies on them not seeing Lepus while they're being tricked. It lasts for twenty seconds, and she can only use this once.

Sailor Scout Attack: Seal Away When Caliban hits an opponent with one of his fists, it causes the opponent to be temporarily paralyzed, where the opponent was hit (either the whole arm, whole leg, or torso+head), for 15 seconds. Can be used twice in battle period.
It seemed that the hit had connected, however the youma definitely didn't go down. It did pause a bit, and part of it's "face" seemed to go slack, but what happened seemed to have angered it and before it was able to attack Caliban, they both heard Lepus yell.
The youman immediately went after where it heard the voice from and went after the fake Lepus. Caliban had to wait a moment to figure out what was going on, but then went to follow the youma, hoping that the cat was following behind. It probably was a better idea to lure the youma outside of the shop, he only hoped he wouldn't get in trouble for abandoning his post for a bit.
Lepus' plan had been to lure the youma outside of the shop, because the last thing she wanted was to somehow be responsible for property damage that she couldn't afford to pay any fines for. So far, it seemed to be working; the youma chased after the fake Lepus, none the wiser that it was all a trick.
It was really great that youma were so simple minded like this.

Etoile meanwhile, ran as fast as her little legs would carry her, following after Caliban as he pursued the youma. "Wait for me!" she called out, not wanting to be left behind.

Caliban looked behind him to see that Etoile was running behind him, while he was running behind the youma. He smirked a bit, glad that the cat could keep up. "Tell me if I'm running to fast!" He replied. He would go back for the cat if need be, or slow down his pace, but now he was trying to catch up with the youma to see if he could hit it with that attack once more.
He felt like there was at least one more of those in him! And he wanted to make sure that he was able to hit the youma before it caught up and could attack Lepus.
"Carry me!" Etoile cried; it was far easier when she had a human perch in times like these, because even a chibi senshi like Lepus was capable of outrunning the little kitten. What kind of guardian cat was she if she couldn't keep up with her senshi?
Arguably, it was also useful for aiming kitty laser beams.

Caliban nodded and waited for the cat to catch up with him until he was able to pick her up and run with her in his arms. At least it seemed that they were now catching up with the youma, though he wasn't sure how far away Lepus was.

If you want, Lepus can be discovered/the youma actually finds her in the next post?
Happy to not have been left behind, Etoile used her newfound viewpoint to keep an eye out for Lepus (or the youma) as they ran towards where the fake Lepus had been running off to.
"That way! She's close now, I can sense it," Etoile directed, as they neared Lepus' location. As soon as they got close enough, it became apparent that not only had they found Lepus, but they had found the youma, as well.
"Oh, hey, you're just in time," Lepus informed the duo, currently facing off again against the youma.

Well, it seemed that Lepus hadn't been too worried, though perhaps she knew that they would be there on time. "All right, I'll try attacking that thing again and see how it goes." He said, carefully putting Etoile down on the ground.
This time he would be ready to face it, at least he hoped. He wasn't too sure how much fight this youma still had in it. He rushed towards it, making sure not to run into Lepus, and threw another fist at it. "Seal Away!" And... it hit the youma!
