He laughed softly as he took a sip of his water. "You were going for the traditional 'substitute teacher' look weren't you? The one everyone knows because it's somehow in every movie or television show that involves a school." He could almost see it on her and he was glad she hadn't gone that far. "If you would like ... no red sauce." He hummed softly to himself as he looked over the menu again.

"Easiest way to hide the pink and purple tips; wrap it up in a bun-- Some will still stick out, but." She shrugged her shoulders lightly, soft, playful smirk on her lips. "My skill with disguise is still limited to wardrobes that I have access to, however. It's not like the movies where there's a pen that just goes click and suddenly there's a hologram providing you with cover." She may have watched one too many fanciful spy movies in her spare time... "No red sauce, just in case. I'm not known to be clumsy, but..." Just in case she didn't want to take that chance.

"So borrowing your friends clothes is something you do often?" He wondered for a moment if that was because she couldn't, or just didn't want, to buy her own things or if she was just that close to her friends. When the waiter came by he ordered his scampi and after perusing the menu for a moment longer ordered Katrina some lobster ravioli in a light cream sauce. He had eaten it once before and remembered it being rather good and easy enough to make sure it wasn't messy.

"Only when they're good friends." Or boyfriends, although she felt that was better left unsaid for the moment. "The young woman I borrowed this from and I are very good friends. It wouldn't be the first time I've borrowed something from her." Often because Prissy decided that she needed to look a bit sharper, or a little less dreary. "Are you asking because you like the shirt? Or because you're looking for more information about me?" She questioned once he'd placed their order, actually looking forward to trying what he'd picked out for her.

"I am asking because I would like to know more about you. Isn't that what companionable dinners are for?" His smirk was teasing as he leaned back in his chair a bit. It was a harmless question, mostly, and he was curious if her friends were much like her. "Knowing you have good friends who let you borrow clothes is something interesting to know after all."

"One good friend-- One best friend. It's funny how we met, actually... But I think that's probably a story for another time." She met his smirk with one of her own, enjoying the brief glimpse at a more playful person beyond the serious professor. She could almost imagine what he might have been like when he'd been closer to her age-- Not that she even knew how old he was. "What about you? Do you have any friends who would let you borrow things from them?"

"When I was in college but that has been some time." He laughed softly. Now he was more of a loner and hadn't made any friends he was that close with. He tended to keep most people at arms distance unless they were family. "Sadly, that friend is no longer with us and I have not found someone else who I would want to be that close with."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Now that she'd had a friend like Prissy she wasn't sure that she could ever go back to being lonely again. It was hard enough with James currently out of the picture, and with Chase... No, she wasn't going to think of either of them right now. There was no reason to waste time or mental energy on anything, or anyone, other than the man who'd agreed to buy her dinner. "You'll meet a lot of new faces, doing what you're doing right now. There will be many opportunities for making friends-- Not all of us are what you probably consider children.'"

"I know not all of you are. I have met quite a few of my co-workers." He knew most of them were also negaverse though not everyone talked about it or shared whether they were or not. "The General who recruited for one was not a child but that does not mean that most of you are not young. And someone has to make sure the lot of you survive." That was the least that the older agents could do. The fight was most likely going to be a long one and there was no sense in letting the younger members die just because they could be a bit stupid.

Katrina took another small sip from her water before setting the glass down, drawing her hand up to hold her index finger up to her lips. "Not everyone in the city knows and there are some places where the walls have ears. There are some things that are best to not mention when you're out in public places. It is good to know that you've met some of your co-workers, however. It's good to get to know the people that you're going to be spending more time with." She chose to ignore the comment about how someone had to make sure that the lot of them survived, assuming that he meant the younger Negaverse agents. She agreed to an extent, of course, but there was a reason why the Negaverse didn't act as the Senshi did. They did not bring children into their ranks and, from what she noticed, they tried to only choose those strong enough to withstand and uphold the power that they were being given. "Have you seen any good movies lately. Mr Cappello?"

"The walls everywhere have ears. Some ears just listen a bit more than others do." He knew what she meant though and while he wasn't that worried about it if she was he could chose his words more carefully. "Usually people here are far more interested in their own conversations." Movies were different though, and an odd topic change. "I am afraid I haven't seen anything newer recently. I tend to wait until things come out on video or online. Theaters of that sort aren't always my favorite places."

"I've noticed that if you go early enough in the morning a week or two after release you can have a theater almost completely to yourself. Better on week days, so for you school holidays? Or weekends... Sick days, possibly." She teased as she plucked a breadstick from the basket, tearing it into tiny bite-sized pieces to set on her plate. "You come to this restaurant often, then? With others or alone?" She asked out of simple curiosity, still wanting to know a bit more about him while they were both answering questions.

"Sadly being a teacher the times I have off everyone else decides to take their children to movies. So home still sounds like the best idea." It wasn't often that he took sick days either, much less 'sick' days. The waiter dropped off their appetizers shortly after he finished answering and he wanted for the young man to leave before continuing. "Alone usually. I've brought my mother a few times but Italian isn't her favorite."

"You prefer things that are more quiet... More intimate?" Her brow lofted as she popped a bite of bread past her lips after lightly dragging it through the pesto sauce. She was going to try and savor everything as best she could-- Opportunities like this for good food and new, interesting company didn't present themselves often. "What else do you enjoy other than quiet movies, tea and fine dining opportunities?"

"Yes." He nodded. "I tend to have a very short fuse so it feels much nicer to be able to relax rather than having to be on edge." He'd also always been a bit of a loaner so he'd never gotten into the habit of liking crowded or loud places. He picked up one of the small mushrooms and popped it into his mouth while he pondered her second question. "I like reading and traveling though I haven't had the chance to do as much traveling as I would like. I do tend to go somewhere for a week or two in summer though." He'd made that a habit as long as he'd been teaching.
