Description/Power: Upon consumption, the fruit turns the eater into an iron person, capable of becoming, creating and manipulating iron. Unlike other Logias, however, the user is unable to freely phase through attacks as the iron body is solid. If the opponent is able to break/cut through iron, then normal phasing is possible. Otherwise, "phasing" only acts to neutralize the damage at the expense of phasing's Endurance cost. The user also becomes an excellent conductor of energy, that does not suffer electrocution but may be harmed by excessive heat produced by the electricity coursing through the body.

Limitations: Standard Devil Fruit weaknesses, susceptible to high temperatures, magnetism and oxidation.

I mean if you break the metallic body, it can be reconstructed. But breaking oneself to avoid an attack (which is possible with some Logia types like Smoke) isn't possible.

Metal rusts, flesh decays, plants wither, water dries up, etc. They also gain the ability to create limitless amounts of a dark smog that harbor the same effects as physical contact with the user.
