"You wouldn't want to," Juliet said, like it was ultimately that simple in the end. "I don't have things organized in the event of my death. Although I know my parents would never understand my actions, I want to make sure they have some sort of explanation if I disappear." She stood perfectly still, and her choker was a band of dark cloth under Chara's hand, chilled from the whiteout she'd created prior.
People like her had to exist, statistically, didn't they? It was a wonder of her parents or her inability to care unless pressed that she still lived. Juliet wasn't going to go out of her way unless she was asked, after all, because it would never occur to her. And all was well.
Chara had his moment, and now she had hers; she reached up to pull his hand away from her neck, perfectly polite, a pianist's delicate fingers. Her eyes were icy mirrors, shards of glass, dulled and unable to hurt anyone without explicit instruction.
"You would understand, if you had someone you stood for, I think."

"What makes you think I don't? I have a family too, but unlike your dumbass, I know what will happen when I die out here, IF I die out here." Chara allowed for the meek young woman to move his hand away and in turn he took a few steps back. As much as he pitied her, there was a much larger part of him that just desired to beat her senseless, or whatever you would call it since to him, it didn't seem like she had much sense in the first place. Yet he did not, as he wasn't cruel by default, no matter how angry and spiteful he was much of the time.
"You make no sense. Won't fight back, but don't want to die. Willing to be stepped on but still want to have security for people left behind. It's ******** stupid and maybe, juuuust maybe you should go the ******** home and get that s**t taken care of before you think about powering up again." He briefly glanced out towards the street, noticing traffic must be winding down, meaning that it was getting far later than he first thought it was.
"You can thank Ptolemaeus for me not killing you right now, since that's the only reason I won't." That and because she was right, he really didn't want to kill some pathetic creature like that. "But next time, I won't give two shits about whether or not your 'family' is waiting for you at home. You're a ******** soldier so act like it!"
Pausing for just a moment, then looking in her eyes, however dulled they were, he gave his best scowl and glare. "And don't you dare think some bullshit about 'just being a girl in a scary world' or blah blah boo hoo woe is me for being weak and sad and just a stepping stone for other people'. If you REALLY thought that way, you wouldn't power up in the first place! You can be nice and safe in your cozy little world, right? How the flying ******** ******** can you say you stand for something if you don't even fight for it? Makes no ******** sense..."
Why was he even still here? It wasn't as if this little Dark Mirror Senshi was going to chase after him. He could easily bound off and disappear into the night, but something was just causing him to linger and wait. He was a bit of an instigator after all, so maybe that was why.
Daekie So sorry for his foul mouth ._.

"And you will," Juliet said, almost too quiet to hear, the breeze carrying her voice away before it really ever passed her lips. She stepped forwards towards Chara, the only sound her heels clacking on the ground, the only sound their breathing - twinned, but not really. He was breathing faster than she was; her breath was regulated, perfect, unreasonably consistent for someone who'd just almost been strangled. "I'm not a soldier. I'm a servant. Not all of us are built to fight the wars -- some of us are designed to tend the hearth for when our leaders come home, battered and bruised."
She stared at him for a few seconds, inscrutable. "Not all of us are meant for greatness or glory. Some people are only meant to be of the winter."
Juliet turned on her heel and began to walk, quiet, away.

Chara clenched his jaw tight when the girl's voice carried just enough to reach his ears. He couldn't help it, her words, her general helplessness, her ******** attitude to it all got under his skin, solidifying the very idea that he hated her and any people like her.
His hot, melted attack bubbled up again in his palm, and he held them loosely, trying so very hard to convince himself not to do it, not to attack this girl again because she wasn't 'worth it' in her own words! Yet she kept talking. She kept talking and talking and more and more he wished for her to die. To just shut up and die or suffer in a corner out of the way of the real soldiers and risk takers of the war. She didn't deserve to live. And yet she didn't deserve to die. So he wouldn't try to kill her tonight, nothing had pushed him quite to that edge, but he wouldn't let her walk away without some sort of agitated response.
"You're right. Some of us are just meant for the grave and the garbage." he said venomously, clear hate lacing his tone as he hurled the handful of the chocolates at her. He wouldn't kill try to kill her. There was just SOMETHING holding him back from that, but gods knew he wanted to hurt her.

The chocolate splattered against her hair, her neck, her collar; what little skin it managed to hit grew violently red, but Juliet kept walking, one foot after the other, posture perfect. Her hands were clasped in front of her, tight.
She wasn't paying attention to him anymore. As far as Juliet was aware, or cared, Chara had ceased to exist in any meaningful way the moment he'd left her sight and she'd decided to leave.

Chara couldn't believe it. This arrogant woman was acting as if she were some goddess, far beyond the raging child who stood behind her. She seemed to simply ignore him in all his rage and anger, coming off as almost inhuman. Chara hated every single thing about her, and could feel himself wanting to strike her again and again and again!
But he couldn't.
Something seemed to whisper in his ear that if he fought her, he'd be giving into that same sick and twisted thought process that seemed to be how the Negaverse functioned. It only took one kill. Just one of an innocent, even if ******** annoy as hell, person's blood on his hands would be enough to taint him with that bloodlust, he was sure of it!
But how he hated even the simple retreating of her back! And he did not move from where he stood, continuing to watch her fade into the darkness around them.
How useless this night was... All it seemed to do was reinforce Chara's disdain for the Dark Mirror Court, and add a new face to the inner vault of his mind to hate later.
When she finally vanished, the Senshi of Chocolate let out an angry and agitated groan. What a ******** night, and it had barely just started.
