Mark: [Sarcastically to October ] Anything else, kind sir? Maybe a helping of dying on the side, and an extra sprinkle of broken bones?
- He suddenly stops as all the lights go out. Everything goes dark in all the facilities before the lights turn on again a minute later.
Mark: Whoops, sorry my hand slipped.
He shows phone to October, which has run in an order of kid's chocolate milk. About to say something else, he suddenly stares down at a message from his phone and frowns. Text from Caelius Mission 15 minutes. Lighthouse.
[Suddenly everyone's phones go off with the same message. ]
Mark: Well, that was fun. Better get your asses moving, boss is calling. Oh, and bring an umbrella, you wont like the weather outside. OOC Phone, played by iphone 7s

GNAT follows as the hunters slowly filter out the cafeteria doors. NATASHA Does - does this mean we're not gettin' mochas? [[Lighthouse ]]
At the shoreline of both turbulent wind and rainwater is the lighthouse. It is buffeted by the test of time, and the camera winds down to show several Hunters struggling to brave the hurricane into the lighthouse. Several of them collapse on the way, unable to walk any further in the storm.
The door slams open, and Allan appears, carrying five drenched Hunters in each arm. He pauses for a second, and then good-naturedly throws one Hunter into each portal. Next to him stands a tall, brooding figure with intensely long black hair and handsome features. He turns around, extremely moodily.
Caelius: Where's Mark, I told him to be here in fifteen minutes, and it is at least, like, twenty!
He points to his Samsung Galaxy Note 7, standing next to a Timex Expedition watch. Two Hunters next to him are navigating what looks like the surface of the earth in turmoil, one of them drinking Cola-Cola Zero, while the other eats from Pizza Hut.
Allan: I'll go find the others, you stay here!
Allan leaves back into the hurricane, but not before checking a Pokemon Go stop to catch a holiday Pikachu on his iPad Mini. He hi-fives the next Hunter to actually make it to the lighthouse. OOC Allan played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Caelius played by Owen Wilson

October looks extremely woebegone at the thought of a mission and work and having to make a significant effort at even moving his limbs at all.
OCTOBER: (silence ; he stares at Mark)
OCTOBER: (silence ; he's still staring at Mark)
OCTOBER: Oh, umbrellas, I have one of those, I can bring that.
He seems marginally more cheerful now.
[ camera pans to a close up of MARCUS' PHONE, where a text message is visible ]

There is rain everywhere, and it is very windy.
Mark: I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF MYSELF.
He points to where he thinks Gnat and October are.
Mark: We'll need to make sure that Deus's barriers are up while we are on mission. Thankfully I installed a failsafe security code that nobody could possible ever break that will make sure everyone is protected. As long as that happens then when we get back, everything should be okay.
Allan shows up. He poses.
Allan: Need a hand?

NATASHA is battling the elements somewhat helplessly. She is crawling along on her hands and knees when suddenly she reaches ALLAN'S Doc Martens™ branded boot. NATASHA Please... She wordlessly and dramatically reaches up. The camera zooms in on her hand. There is a flash of lightning. It illuminates the adidas logo stitched into the gold thread of her coat sleeve. CAFETERIA One of the background extras has been texting the entire time, stopping only to read the mass text. And then quickly goes back to it. LUCKY: Ten dollars to whoever trades coats with me right now. He is holding up a ten dollar bill without once looking up from his phone.

[ In the rain]
Allan: All right, here we go!
Allan picks up Natasha, leaving behind Mark and October. Mark opens his mouth to say something, and then sighs and closes it.
Mark: Well, one extra drink for me.
Natasha is deposited between the Coke Zero and Pizza Hut boxes. Her landing is padded by the Timex Expedition watch, that despite her weight, remains durable. The lighthouse is oddly empty now, broken wires everywhere. Most of the portals are closed.
Allan frowns.
Allan: Stay close to me.
He pushes Natasha behind him, and takes out a semi-automatic. There are loud clicking noises from a corner, and then a flash of white. The hissing increases as Allan fires wildly, at a strange shape that evades most of the shots.
Allan: GET DOWN!
He throws a grenade, covering Natasha. Everything explodes, and then there is a terrible screech as ashes flutter everywhere. The [ parasitic alien ] drops to the ground. The Timex watch is also still in perfect condition. Allan goes over with his machine gone to poke it with the end of his gun.
Allan: What.. is that?

NATASHA's coat and shirt are inexplicably covered in stylishly applied black dirt and now feature rips revealing a tasteful black bra and flat, sculpted, definitely-editied-in-post abdomen. She pulls herself from the rubble and leans on Allan's arm artfully. NATASHA Whoa, looks like something from one a them [NAME REDACTED, SEEKING COPYWRIGHT USEAGE] movies. She leans in for a closer look, brushing a strand of loose hair behind her soot-caked and expertly makeup'd cheek. She opens the Health app on her Apple iWatch 2™ (covered in carefully applied raindrops, yet still fully functional due to it's factory standard waterproofing technology) and the green LEDs illuminate the [ alien creature ]. ON THE WAY TO THE LIGHTHOUSE Lucky doesn't actually look at the coat he'd been swapped. Instead he puts on a pair of stylish Ray-Ban sunglasses. He gets up (still texting), and walks outside into the churning ranistorm. He appears confident that his new disguise is flawless and he could not possibly be recognized by anyone. Like Caelius. Especially Caelius.

TEDAN blinks at the sudden offer of Starbucks and snatches the cup gratefully. TEDAN Even though it's not food, I will definitely take coffee any day TEDAN slurps at coffee and grins over the top of the cup at MARK. TEDAN End of the world huh? Great time for ordering drinks. You gonna get anything besides coffee? TEDAN laughs at his own not-quite-a-joke. Then checks his phone and gets up with a sigh to head for the LIGHTHOUSE [scene cuts to him walking toward said location]

It is still raining outside as Mark pulls out a cigarette to smoke. They are getting closer to the lighthouse now, when they hear gunshots.
Mark: [Holds out hand] Something's wrong.
Mark signals for everyone to be quiet, crouching now before slowly approaching the open door. Inside are Allan and Natasha.
Mark: [Sigh of relief] What happened here? Where is everyone? Wh-
Suddenly large white [aliens] pop out from all the portals in large clusters. They look like slimy, mutated canines with missing faces and a large mouth in their stomach. Long tendrils extend from their backs.
Mark: Oh s**t! Defend yourself! Use your guns for god sake that's why we gave you them!
Mark pulls out a semi-automatic and starts firing while lighting a warning flare into the air. anyone else who wanders by LMAO
