She was panicked as Ree's thoughts repeated and she looked down as he turned in the air. The name that Ree spoke made her hair bristle in response, narrowing her eyes. The name only brought up bad memories, the person that framed Ree and caused him the pain he felt, the disconnect with his family, the kidnapping of her host Hexxis. Everything. She tightened her grip very slightly of her arms around the back of his neck, watching as he ripped Kage's head from his body. Only a small shudder of her body as flickers of memories surfaced.

//....we've done this before....//

Ashral watched carefully as the body hit the ground and his head remained in the air. She took a deep breath before she bared fangs. //...no blood...// she thought quietly, her breath quickening as her eyes hyper-focused on the body.

Kylar stared at the pair lifelessly. He no longer needed to breath or sleep, even blinking was just a habit he retained from his living body. With enough focus he stopped inhaling, his eyes beginning to dry out as he ceased blinking as well. The body lay on the ground motionless, the chest no longer rising and falling with each breath. The head stared at them unblinking, unmoving as it was held aloft by the telekenisis. Kylar could have attempted something, tried to catch them off guard, however the way they weren't speaking was a little suspicious. The pair just looked him over as if some unspoken bond as the malice bared her fangs, something new no doubt given she was a shadow the first time he met her.

Kylar was carried as a head with the pair as they took flight, his body left behind. He remained motionless awaiting their arrival at wherever they decided to settle down for the night. Once they had left the area the body crawled on hands and knees feeling around for a bush before pressing itself inside of it to keep hidden from view as to prevent it being discovered until he could return for it.

Under more normal circumstances he would have question Ashral's words, instead he heard them and kept focusing on flying quickly to the one part of town he made sure to find and never be. Tonight was different, the head looked dead even without blood dripping from what should have been a fatel wound.
The difference was that there was still a soul there, where none should be. It made him instantly regret the deal he struck with Yoko in exchange for her help, not that there was much of a choice since she likely would have gone anyways.

Kage should have been stopped then and there, for taking Hexxis for framing him and killing the people he knew in SIU. His first thought was to destroy the head and scatter the parts around treterra and the ocean, but that was no guarantee that Kage might not return. He wanted to though, despretly wanted to. //destroy it...remember how hard it was to kill him. He could return, burn it, hide it... find Yoko.... why is he here. Damage the spirit ...no. Why... eliminate the threat. Plan stay with plan...move afterwards// his thoughts went back and forth as he held on tightly to Ashral.

//Here, do it? Yes...no...yes...yes delay.// he muttered to himself a surge of anger he slammed back down followed by regrets, for having picked up Kage..for inviting him to SIU... to thinking he actually went to have a peaceful life with Andy.

Hovering above the mercenary HQ he tried to slam the head hard through one of their windows using telekinesis.

Ashral watched him throw the head down into the merc hq and listened to his thoughts. She leaned more to him, squeezing slightly, a hug as he held her. "...we're okay..." she spoke simply in a soft voice, taking a deep breath to relax even if she didn't feel much better about it all.

Kylars' head rose up from the building once Ree and Ashral had left the area. His eyes darted across the sky, looking for something that hadn't arrived yet. He rose higher into the air to avoid being spotted from below, scanning the area beneath him waiting for something to arrive.

Kylars' body floated slowly in the direction Ree had taken its head. It moved slowly closer to it's missing piece, the piece that would allow it to perceive its surroundings.

Ree landed quietly and put Ashral down as he took the steps to the hotel room, opening it. Silently he moved inside and floated a thing or two into a pack and grabbed it waiting for Ashral. He was silent, one hand grabbing the necklace at his throat for comfort as he muttered very softly. "Ready" he muttered.

Ashral was a bit slower in gathering her things, something she couldn't help with the injuries she had sustained. After collecting what she needed, she moved back to Ree. "Ready." she repeated in agreement that she was ready. "Let's get out of here.."

With Ree and Ashral clear across town, Kylar moved towards a gun shop in order to do some 'shopping.' He let himself in, the door opening as the alarm went off inside. Perhaps he could deal with the alarm, but he knew what he was here for and it wouldn't take very long to get it and leave. Face still distorted, Kylar moved past the cameras heading strait for the gun safe. A simple twist of the handle and the door swung open allowing Kylar to take his pick of the rifles inside.

Two minutes later, Kylar was out of the door and back into they sky a few things from within the shop now available to use against the two he was hunting, the rifle and a box of tranquilizer rounds the key things that he had arrived for. His right eye glanced around as he watched Ree once more keeping tabs on where he was. It seemed the Meta was ready to move packing up some things before departing.

Kylar began heading towards where Ree was, a little behind it would likely take a few hours to catch up to the other Meta unless he paused to rest. Things would be fun soon enough, perhaps he wouldn't have to hurt Ree to obtain the malice. Although they had their issues as sad as it was, he didn't want to hurt the Meta if he could help it.
