Summer's Journal
Entry I
March 24
Gloomy day, the rain has been coming down since last night. I should know, it kept me awake. It started letting up by lunch time, so I intended to continue with my shopping plans. I finally left my modest appartment after grabbing a bite to eat. The rain had all but stopped, but the gray clouds still hung over the darkened sky.
I'm planning on doing some renovation to try and brighten up my living space. The local homewares place down the road should have done the trick. But as I walked there I came accross a different store. It was closer and cheaper. Good enough for me. I entered the store only to be greated some girl dressed as a gypsy, or a genie or something. Just as well, all of their items seemed to reflect this. I bought a pretty blue vase, it looked like something out of ancient rome. I also bought a bolt of dark red fabric. I plan to make some curtains out of it. There were also several braclets which caught my eye. I bought them as well, why not? I need to spoil myself sometimes don't I?
As I started home, carrying the various items, it started to rain again. Quickly, I stuffed all of my newly bought items into the vase and dashed home. I placed the vase on the floor by the closet.
What am I doing still writing? I'm late for class! >.>
