"There are worst things that could happen than being trapped in a mall. At least there's food here, running water, clothing." Her smirk returned as she opened up her weather ap, tracking the progress of the storm. "My bike is outside, and with how quick this storm is moving there's no way I'd make it back to my flat in time... I can't leave it out in the parking lot, though. The paint job is worth way too much to be left out in the ice." Her nose wrinkled before she glanced up to him. "How far do you live from here?"

"And it has far too many people to want to be trapped with." He headed into the store and got in line so he could get what he needed. "I doubt you'll like being trapped in a mall when you're fighting for a space on the floor with some mother and her screaming children." That sounded like hell to him and he'd rather make it through the storm. "Not far, given that there's probably traffic due to the storms ten minutes? It's all back streets so they should still be easy to navigate."

"I don't suppose you'd be willing to let a girl keep a bike in your garage until the storm passes?" It was a long shot. She probably shouldn't trust him, but all things considered it wasn't like she didn't have a way of porting herself out of a bad situation-- Or ways to retaliate if something else happened. "I ride fast. If you gave me the address I'm sure I could make it to your place before the ice."

"I might be able to be convinced to do so." He smirked, ignoring the look his words got from the woman in line in front of him. "You don't have to wait in here for me, i'll just be a moment." He didn't want to sound like he was kicking her out but it would make it faster for everyone with one less person in line. "If you keep track of the storm we'll try to make sure we're out before it catches us and you can borrow my garage for a bit." He had room in it anyway and if the storm got bad he did have a spare room.

She drew her phone out of her pocket, passing it over to him. "Put your address in my GPS while you're waiting in line. I'll meet you outside the shop." She waggled her fingers at the woman standing in line just behind Kian, flashing her an obnoxiously broad grin before slipping out of the shop to wait for him to finish checking out.

He took her phone for a moment to do as she asked before handing it back and watching her head out of the shop. Thankfully the line moved rather quickly and he had the clerk pack up one of the gift baskets he wanted along with a couple other things. He could tell the woman behind him was still trying to tell him her opinion with how hard she was glaring at the back of his head. Normally he'd have given her a piece of his mind about those opinions but knew they didn't really have time for that. With his gifts in hand he slipped back out of the shop to meet Katrina. "Shall we?"

"The storm looks like it's moving faster than anyone was expecting. Can you find your way back to your own car from here?" Her brow lofted as she downloaded the offline map of the directions between the mall and his home, just in case phone service was cut by the freak storm. "I'm sure you can... I'll meet you back at your place?" She really didn't want to leave her bike anywhere that it could be damaged, Priscilla had paid for the repairs to it once to make up for what she'd done to it on April Fool's but she didn't want to have to ask the pinkette for help again should something happen.

"I can. Do be safe." from the way people were scurrying out of the mall he could guess how bad the storm was getting and even a slightly bad storm wasn't something you wanted to be on a bike in. "Stay off the highways." He tipped his head to her slightly before heading away from the store and toward the parking garage where he'd left his car.

"Don't worry about me! I can take care of myself," she called after him with a grin before turning on her heel. She broke off down the mall walk at a sprint. She ducked into one of the service corridor's to avoid any of the civilians still trying to make their way out. Danny was closing tonight-- He'd be fine. She wouldn't need to check in on him to make sure he made it home okay, she had no reason to pop into the shop before leaving. She had an adventure ahead of her and she was very much looking forward to it. Once she was outside she scooped up her helmet, securing it on her head before starting up her bike. The cold had already swept in close to the mall and the clouds were looming in the distance. She connected the GPS to her headset before lowering the visor on her helmet, peeling out of the parking lot. It seemed like she was in for a race against the weather.

He tucked his purchases into the back seat before sliding into his car. He was glad, for once, that he didn't have the usual sedan that most of his colleagues did and had gone for a sportier version. Inside the parking garage he could feel the wind picking up and once outside the clouds hung low in the sky. It was going to be a nasty storm and he hoped that Katrina made it alright. He plugged his phone in and regretted that he hadn't gotten her number to send her the code for the garage. Nothing to be done about that. He pulled out of the mall and headed back home, taking a couple of shortcuts and glad that most of the traffic seemed to be heading for the highway. By the time he reached his driveway flurries were starting to fall and the temperature had dropped significantly.

As she rode closer to the storm the cold began to seep in past her leather jacket, forcing her to re-route and ride faster. A patch of black ice near a red light almost threw her off, setting her heart pounding as she tried to stay a little smarter after that. The thrill was good, sure, but she didn't want to die. When she reached the address he'd given her she pulled up close to the garage before getting off of her bike, leaving her helmet on for the time being so that she could keep that bit of added protection from the cold over her face. The weather hadn't been calling for anything like this when she'd left her flat earlier that day and she really hadn't prepared herself for spending any time outside in the snow.

He pressed the little button to open the garage once he saw Katrina so she'd be able to put her bike inside beside his car and get out of the wind. It was freezing outside and nothing in the weather mentioned this. He hadn't expected snow until later in the season. When the car was parked and the garage door shut to block the wind from getting to them he slid out of the drivers seat, snagging his bags out of the back. "I see you made it alright. No trouble with ice?"

"Trouble and I are good friends with one another," she managed to get the words out with a small shiver as she removed her helmet once her bike was secured inside his garage. "The ride would've been nice under other circumstances; good back roads, streets are clear... ******** the cold, though." Her nose wrinkled. "There's something about that snow and ice that isn't right."

He ran a hand through some of the snow that had gathered on his car's hood and raised a brow as it didn't move almost as if it was glued to the paint. "... I wish I could say I was surprised but, i'm not." He shook his head before going over to unlock the door into the house. "It will be warmer inside and we can see what the news is saying about the weather."

"Nothing good, according to my phone." She snorted softly as she held up the mobile device before tucking it back into her pocket. Her eyes drifted back outside beyond the glass window of the garage door briefly and she shivered once more before following him inside, backpack still over her shoulder. If she ever met whichever senshi had to be behind this, White Moon or otherwise, she'd kill them.
