Biography
Alastor was an orphan from cache, however; being an orphan hasn’t affected Alastor too much. Despite not having a family to instill all of the proper pride and tradition of demon life into him, being raised right in the middle of demon lands did that just fine. Perhaps it made him a touch more possessive of what was his though.
As an orphan Alastor didn’t have much in the way of his own things. When he was just a freshling he came into possession of a bracelet made of polished jade. It quickly became his pride and joy being the first thing that had ever been truly his. One of his roommates (he was never able to discover which) took it shortly before they were promoted to juniors and he was devastated.
Since that day he has devoted his life to studying magics of the illusionary kind. At first it was simply a means to add extra security to what was his own, enchanting them to appear as mundane and undesirable objects to keep prying eyes and hands off of his things. Soon he came to enjoy the complexities of the magic and put his mind to becoming not just better but the best at it.
