Kin Name: Tulip Preference List: Box, breeding, bag, tokens Bouquet Image: N/A Bouquet Meaning: This is a bouquet that Tulip assembled for his mother, Chrysanthemum, who just had a third clutch and a tough pregnancy. Each flower, aside from the traditional meaning, is meant to symbolize each of Chrysanthemum's older children. (I also had to go off of the website given to find some meanings, sorry if that was a bother!) Chrysanthemum for referenceAzalea - Take care of yourself for me/Temperance (Moderation or voluntary self-restraint) Mountain Laurel (Kalmia latifolia) - Laurel flowers are thought to represent ambition, as well as success and renown. As a gift, these blossoms are most commonly given to those heading into new phases of their life – starting a new job, going to school, even getting married or having children. They are meant to represent a wish for the recipient to have all of the success in the world, or to continue to push on with their lofty ambitions, despite any roadblocks they may come across. Meaning taken from this website (this flower wasn't on the website given, but I wanted to include it)Hydrangea - Thank you for understanding/Gratitude and thanksgiving to someone else ( Additional meaning taken from here) Black-eyed-Susan - Encouragement (Represents Beekeeper because it's a flower bees are often attracted to) Mistletoe - Kiss me; Affection; To Surmount Difficulties (Represents A Kiss at Dawn) Tulip (Purple) - Symbolizing royalty (as purple has long been known as a royal color), this color is often used for brides bouquets on their big day. Purple also symbolizes rebirth, therefore being the perfect color for spring. (Meaning taken from here)Roses (Dark Pink, Pale Pink, Red) - Thankfulness/Grace, Joy/Love/Respect Daylily - Chinese Emblem for Mothers Basically, the entire bouquet is supposed to be a gift of thanks and appreciation for Chrysanthemum's hard work and endurance during this pregnancy, as well as a celebration of the birth and excitement over new siblings. Though it wasn't assembled by all of her children, Tulip wanted to make sure that everyone was included in some way for his mother so it felt like everyone was celebrating with her. RP: Tulip skipped two and fro, his mind entirely transfixed on his goal. His mother, dear sweet Chrysanthemum, had just brought another clutch into the world after a long, painful pregnancy, and he wanted to try his best to cheer her up. Being a family full of floral names, he couldn't think of a better gift to give her than a bouquet, but it had to be something meaningful and special! He couldn't just go picking buds willy-nilly!
"Hm, we're almost there, just one more thing to tie it all together!" He said, leaping off into the brush again. He'd gather the majority of what he'd wanted and assembled it nicely, but it needed one more flower before it was complete. A single daylily, a sacred symbol for mothers.
While he searched, he thought about how much work he'd put into this from the beginning. The mission, as he'd called it, had started off as gift from him to her and only included tulips. However, then Laurel wanted to add a sprig of Mountain Laurel he'd found to the mix and that gave Tulip an idea. A bouquet comprised of flowers that represented each of his mother's children in some way. It was simple enough to find the first three flowers, Hydrangea, Azalea, and Laurel, but he spent quite some time thinking about others like his half-sisters Beekeeper and A Kiss at Dawn. Eventually, he settled for things that reminded him of them and arranged the bouquet by order of clutch. Sure, the finished product wasn't the most beautiful or uniform of gifts, but it still conveyed the message he wanted to send.
"Perfect! Nice and pink, just like mom!" He exclaimed, picking the daylily off it's vine with his teeth and trotting back to the bouquet. His mother would be arriving at any moment and he needed it to be ready! He fussed, rearranged, and picked until the sound of approaching hooves caught his attention, and he broke out into a smile.
"Welcome home, mother!" He cheered, nudging the bouquet towards her. "This is for you, from all of us. I hope you like it!"
He didn't need to wait more than a second before he was tackled with nuzzles and given an earful of gratitude. Clearly he'd done good!

Kin Name: Westward Bound Preference List: fancy box, breeding, tokens, bag Bouquet Image: n/a Bouquet Meaning: first half: paperwhite narcissus (stay as sweet as you are), baby's breath (innocence), yellow jasmine (grace and elegance), scarlet zinnia (constancy) second half: paperwhite narcissus (westfen), orange rose (enthusiasm), yellow tulip (hopeless love), scarlet zinnia (constancy). You are sweet, faithful, innocent, graceful, and elegant, and though my duties to my tribe keep me away and makes it seem hopeless, my love for you is constant and enthusiastic. RP: Westward Bound is careful to pick only the blooms that reminded him of Oathkeeper in both appearance and in supposed meaning. He begins, of course, with the flower that's probably most significant to him: narcissus, the Westfen whiteflower. It doesn't carry the same meaning to anyone outside of the tribe, of course, but it can also symbolize Oathkeeper herself. Sweet, hardworking, despite the heartbreaks she's had to endure. It takes him a while to decide what else to do, and he eventually creates a centerpiece first: two scarlet zinnias and two soft yellow jasmine blooms, to represent Oath's beauty and her unwavering loyalty. He surrounds these with swathes of whiteflower - or narcissus, as those outside of Westfen might call it, and she's an outsider, isn't she? That's a reminder or a plea: please continue to stay sweet as you are, because it shows such strength of character. He finishes off by peppering the bouquet with some occasional baby's breath (which can perform the double duty of representing her innocence). That's not enough, of course, West thinks, examining it again. It's a lovely bouquet, and it does look like Oath, but there has to be more to this. His relationship for her is more complex than pure admiration. So he makes a second bouquet to be presented in tandem: this one about himself. The center three bright yellow tulips: he loves her, of course, even though it's a little hopeless because he spends so much time in Westfen lands. He surrounds this with an alternating border of orange roses, to represent the enthusiasm - because Westward Bound has never cared if their love is futile - and scarlet zinnias, because Westward Bound, too, has been faithful to her, and to their children, and refuses to waver in this. But he surrounds these with still more whiteflowers - and they're definitely whiteflowers here, for Westfen. Both bouquets are united by the presence of scarlet zinnias and narcissus - although the second one means a different thing in both contexts. "These - these whiteflowers are the most important flower, in my tribe," he says, presenting the bouquet to Courtesy. "They can represent my lover's sweetness - " he gestures to the first half of the bouquet " - or my own devotion to my tribe." He gathers himself before pressing on further. "This first half represents her - she's gone through a lot of difficulty, because she's always faithful, and yet she is still sweet, graceful, kind, innocent. The second half represents myself. I love her deeply, enthusiastically, and hopelessly, and will never waver. But I cannot regret that my tribe often separates me from her, and hope that she will return my love regardless."

Kin Name: Release Me Preference List: Fancy, Breeding, Tokens, Bag. Bouquet Image: kjdfa;kldf will slip in if time constraints allow D: Bouquet Meaning: Phlox - innocence and purity of the heart; invitation for honesty and openness Rose Buds - anticipation, invitation to friendship, courting, and romance Statice Flower - endurance, lush tranquility Sweet Pea - innocence, innocent flirtation; sensual, yet tender and sweet and the same time. The mystique of femininity Gladiolus - faith and constancy, never forgetting, never giving up, believing in great blessings Hibiscus - outward expression of joy and happiness; seeing beauty and finding a reason to celebrate the simplest of joy Aster - unexpected surprise; the magic of mystical stars dancing in the midnight sky, calling to our innermost being. "Star" Delphinium/Larkspur - infinite possibility, anything is possible Lotus - patience, purity; herself and the moon
RP:Release Me twitched her ears back and forth before entering the area...that was teeming with flowers. Her heart began skittering in a quickened beat as Starsinger's words rang in her mind. The Stars say love is growing strong, steady, as the roots of the Willow. Embrace it, and be warmed by its heat! ... As the Moon grows bright, and the stars do dance - follow the wispy light, and take the most daring chance!!Time to...to take that chance! The ashful doe approached and listened, trying to glean all she could. She had someone in mind to make a bouquet for. THe edges of her eyes crinkled and then softened as she took a deep breath and began picking and choosing. Lotus; it reminded her of the moon! Aster...of the stars! Good, good, yes, yes. She continued on, selecting Sweet Peas, Hibiscus, Phlox, and... Rose Buds? Rose Buds, yes! She nodded to herself. After all, her little beginnings of affection were only beginnings, and there was no guarantee of the return of it, in any amount. That didn't bother her too much, though! ...oh! The doe picked up a few sprigs of Delphinium and tucked them in, for all the possibilities in the world. And then...and then... She wanted something...to end with hope. The burgundy-hued doe swept back along the flowers, and then wound up bashfully asking Courtesy, herself. The wiser, more knowledgeable doe soon showed her a few flowers, of which she selected the Gladiolus, and...the Statice flower, whose bold colours offset most of the others in the lot. A statement, if things worked out well. But her tail and ears twitching, she knew something was missing. And with the words ringing in her mind again, she gasped and dashed out to return a few moments later than she thought to twine a frond of a willow tree around the bouquet, holding them together. Maybe giving them a firm foundation. ( Ahhhhh I'm like two minutes late. If I don't count, that's fine, just let me know. )
