“They’re interesting.” Tyiva held one up towards the light thoughtfully, “It’s not awful.” She admitted as she glanced down towards the youngling, “I mean…” Trailing off the Alkidike bit her bottom lip sheepishly. How could she critique the young mystic who seemed upset already?

“But they could be better.” Danika laughed and waved a hand towards the older Alkidike, “No worries. I’m trying.” She seemed so much older than any other child as she beamed towards Tyiva, “Isn’t this part of learning? You don’t always get it on the first try…”
Though at that point she did stick her lips out in a playful pout, “Though it’d be nice.” She had learned the languages after all so quickly, why not this? Truly it was frustrating! Not that she could show that to the other Alkidike. Her mentors made certain to remind her that she couldn’t be so childish like the others her age after all.

Tyiva smiled quietly. It truly was amazing to see such a mature child. I suppose that alone marks her as a mystic in training. Still the older Alkidke held up a figure, “Then we must practice more. I’ll help you to learn while I learn myself.” She placed down a figure so that she could grab a handful of the damp clay, “Let’s begin.”
Rolling it in her fingers Tyiva smiled as she watched the young mystic.

“Okay!” Humming with excitement Danika picked up some of the clay and began to roll it around in her smaller hands. Her gaze followed Tyiva’s own movements and she had to grin. Who knew that meeting someone else could finally be so fun? After all those lessons it was nice knowing she could have someone to come play with her!
“So you have to do it just like this…” Pursing her lips out in concentration the youngling sat on the ground and began to roll out a shape, “I can make it look like a radaku…” Well…maybe a log with legs, but it was a start!

“A radaku?” Tyiva grinned, “Then perhaps I shall try to do a tree.” That seemed easy enough. She could do branches and then maybe even say it was similar to the mother. Not that she dared to copy Aisha! There was none with talent enough to capture the beauty of their mother after all.
“You uh might want to work on that snout though.” Teased Tyiva lightly, “It seems a bit short for a radaku…did it crash into a tree?”

“Oh…” Danika blinked before glancing over at the other alkidike, “Hey! You’re teasing me.” Though it wasn’t anger that lit up her features. Finally! Someone other than Eshe that didn’t seem afraid to be truly honest with her! Laughing Danika pinched the nose and tried to shape it before the whole snout actually fell off.
Her gaze widening in surprise she held it up towards Tyiva as if horrified. But then as both alkidikes looked at each other laughter filled the air. Whoops!

As the laughter died Tyiva found herself relaxing more and more. Even if the girl was the future mystic it didn’t stop her from being a youngling as well. It was nice to drop her guard for once. This meeting it seemed was good for them both. A time to relax and also to find friends within each other as sisters. It definitely was a meeting which she would never forget.
Nor she dared hope would Danika.
