Tori looms over most people, a veritable giant. He is not some thin, lanky creature, either; massive muscles bulge from his frame, fighting for space. Most of his body weight is in muscle with little fat. His thick yet supple hide is a natural orange that could never be achieved with a spray can; it's tough and firm but silky-smooth and quite sensitive. Thick black stripes stretch across his body, cutting into his cheeks and reaching toward the front of his chest. His calves reach backwards several inches over clawed feet, and his thighs swell with muscles in sharply-defined sections that rub against each other as he walks. Wide hips proudly display gigantic glutes filled with power below a thick rope of a tail. Thick, vast lats surge up his back and sides, pushing his arms out to 45 degree angles. A set of ten-pack abs are cast into shadow by his titanic pecs that jut out over a foot and crowd around his lower jaw; he occasionally finds it difficult to see past them. Beefy biceps bulge up into twin peaks with tremendous triceps and strong shoulders. Even the muscles in his neck seem strong and large, and his delts and traps reach all the way up to his triangular ears. His forearms are thick and meaty, leading down to clawed hands. In sharp contrast to all of this, his face is remarkably juvenile. His jawline, when visible, is pointed but soft; his face is heart-shaped with a widow’s peak to complete the illusion. Wide, alert yellow eyes shine above a small, crooked nose with whiskers and a wide maw filled with sharper-than-average teeth. Atop his head, a thick mane of red-orange hair tumbles down in wavy lines to his upper back and shoulders. He doesn’t wear very much for clothing, mostly because he outgrows most garments fairly quickly. He tends to wear clothing that is loose and can be draped and adjusted, as well as heavy furs in the winter months. He walks about barefoot, in order to feel the earth beneath his feet.

History: To everyone's surprise, Tori was born to a completely normal family. Because of his size, his birth was painful and very dangerous; his mother almost didn't survive. Her hips were shattered and her body paralyzed from the waist down. She spent most of his childhood confined to a chair, but she did her best to raise him. To their relief, he was a very good-tempered child; he rarely fussed or cried and was very affectionate--a trait that only grew over time. There weren't many kids he could play with, since the kids his own age were too small and fragile and the kids his age were too mature and unfriendly. As a result, he only got to play with his father, when he wasn't already busy, and with some of the adults around town. He spent plenty of time curled up with his mother, as well, which helped him develop a sweet, gentle personality. His parents adored him in spite of his differences, and some people in his village were tolerant and accepting of him. Some weren't, though, and this inspired him to go out of his way to help others and prove himself as a valuable member of society. He would often be found toiling in the fields, though he had to struggle against his attention span to get any substantial amount of work done. He was home schooled a bit, but he never truly excelled at intellectual pursuits. Even though he hadn't been exposed to other children or developed social skills, he turned out to be a happy, good-mannered child. Things being as they were, though, his parents couldn't afford to keep him. By age 8 he had outgrown his father, and he hit nine feet even before puberty. After a tear-filled goodbye he left his home and went out to live on his own. He worked as a migrant worker for some months, but it wasn't satisfying and he grew bored quickly. After this, he worked in a quarry breaking rocks; the monotony of this was even worse, and he soon left in search of a new place to call home...

History: Oasis was found as a baby in a carefully formed basket of bamboo and silk by a young couple during their journey to their new home as they crossed paths with a great mountain and a gentle river. The young infant had strange blue markings on her body, they shone blue like the clear sky reflected in the water which her basket floated in, the couple decided she must have been somehow blessed by the gods. This couple took this strange newborn child as their own and traveled to their new home near Sunagakure. However they were blissfully unaware that their new home was currently suffering from a terrible drought. The deliveries of water from shinobi on mission from Sunagakure kept the people hydrated, however the same could not be said for their food and importing food was becoming expensive. When Oasis and her adoptive family arrived the elder knew they were somehow special, the strange blue birthmarks on her arms and legs. A few days after her arrival her adoptive father discovered a well with a strong supply of water, he took it as a sign, a good omen that his Daughter was most assuredly a gift from the gods.

Oasis was born with a unique affinity to the water element chakra, which unbeknownst to those around her was the result of her unique lineage. Oasis was the half human daughter of the god of the sea Ohoyamatsumi. This lineage has also gifted her with a unique affinity with water itself, she loves water, and has the uncanny ability to find it almost anywhere, it was that talent that saved her village as once she was old enough to walk on her own she was finding water sources which her father would drill up and turn it into a well for the village.

This ability earned her the love of the entire village, she was treated like a princess however her natural affinity towards chakra, specifically the water element made her unique in another fashion most of those in her village had no propensity towards chakra at all which was why nearly none of them ever went to become ninja, Oasis once old enough to join the academy made it her goal to become a ninja. Oasis is still blissfully unaware of her lineage, or her true powers. Oasis, though still weak, occasionally shows her unique power when her eyes glow a brilliant shade of blue.

History: One might call me a wanderer, a student of the sword, or perhaps just a desert-wandering lunatic. As a student of the blade, I have trained, traveled, and killed when necessary. There are men out there who would rather we villagers not learn to defend outselves, assassins who hide behind a hidden village's laws. Helmyre of the North is a small village to the north of the desert, so named for the hellish temperatures we receive I imagine; blazing hot in the day, frigid at night. But we had a good life, we didn't need the ninja to protect us, we could fend for ourselves. I imagine that's why they chose to target us with a lesson; a reason we needed protection. A lone uchiha, copying our every movement, mimicing our kenjutsu, he slew three of our kin before I found him. He was good, very good... but I was better. I knew who he was mimicing, I'd beaten them all before; and his eyes were tired - I knew he wouldn't, couldn't, mimic my movements. His sword blazed with his clan's signature fire element as he struck, it was a fight I'll not soon forget; and so I thanked him for the fight in the best way I knew how, and cut him down and made one of his eyes a part of me. They called me Valem of Helmyre, though some mock me with Valem of the Stolen Sharingan behind my back... That doesn't matter; they used to call me Valem of the masochistic sword-style. Using one's own bones as a sword tends to have that effect...
So I wonder now, do I join those who attempted to kill my kin and root them out one by one; or do I join to serve as an example of what a ninja should be? I imagine vengence will only motivate them to try harder... so why not throw them a surprise; I'm sure they'll enjoy the now-eyeless Uchiha I'm bringing as a welcoming gift.

History: The Kurotamashi Clan has a past shrouded in mystery. They first appeared after the 4th Great Shinobi War had ended and had made their home in Tanzaku City. There the Kurotamashi clan have served as guardsmen for the castle and the city itself. Tiie has grown up learning what she needed to know in order to become one the city's future security guards, but recent events such as the reappearance of the Orasakai Brothers in Kumo and the explosion of the mansion at Otakufu City have led to her family encouraging her to learn the ninja arts.
