Chiara looked into Zindel's eyes as she went in for the kill. Did he know? Chiara loved to tease, to make comments that others could dwell upon, or think into circles. It was all part of the game. But she lived with Zindel, maybe he was more observant than she thought. No, she couldn't admit it even if he did already know, but powered or not, Chiara was powerful. "I don't need some stupid powers to be powerful Zindel." The blueblood said as she drove the sword into the boy's virtual body.

When the game was over and the two were both able to exit the pods, Chiara grinned pleasantly at the redblood, and moved to clasp an arm around him comradely. "You think ide let my star look bad?"" The blueblood whispered in his ear. She pointed at the screen where it was showing play by plays of the redblood's best moves, downplaying the loss.

Their eyes were locked as he pressed his back on the tree, it feeling strangely real as he searched for some sort of weapon he could use to defend himself, maybe something hanging from his hip, or-- Nope, too late. She was too close, too close and Zindel was strangely too conscious of said fact. He squirmed, but was too late in reacting when the shine of her blade slid into his stomach. A familiar weight pressed against his insides, and Zindel released a weak groan as his legs went weak. Thankfully, the time of death was short. Soon he woke back up, breathing hard, feeling feverish. This was the second time it happened. He touched his stomach, ghost pain making him remember the fake pain it caused his insides and making him breathe deeply. Thankfully he managed to calm himself down before he stepped out of the pod.

The arm around him wasn't entirely unwelcome, and while he flinched some, Zindel relaxed when he heard Chiara's voice. Looking at the screen, Zindel felt his insides churn when he saw their fight-- He looked a lot more impressive than he thought he had. Cheeks going slightly red, he looked away, murmuring a small thanks before sighing in relief. Right now, he just wanted to grab a mooncake and relax. Two nerve wracking, daymare inducing battles and Zindel just wanted something that'd bring him back to normal. "I'm gonna go grab a mooncake. I'll be back in a bit." He murmured, tugging himself out of her grip and striding away. He needed to be by himself, for a while.
