Internally, Ephias was screaming. The blueblood was so close that he could see every pore in her skin, every lash around her eyes. It had been a while since he had felt so violated.
Highbloods. As usual, his face was as expressive as a rock, though his grip around the glass tightened. When the blueblood pulled away, he released a breath he realised he had not been holding.
“That won't be an issue,” he said, as he reclaimed the clipboard. His eyes flickered momentarily to the business card she attached with her signature. He remembered her giving him another one like it back at the dome. He had tossed it sometime later no doubt.
Rising to his feet, Ephias passed the blueblood the rest of his drink.
“You'll hear from me by the end of the week. For now though, I should help... Bobbus. He won't be able to move those boxes by himself.” Ephias tucked the clipboard back under his arm. Giving the blueblood a parting nod, he turned and left.
