Neryssa didn't know how to react to her sister and what she had said about their mother. A cold that just got worse... That still didn't sound the best either way. Frowning slightly, Neryssa watched her sister as she watched her. "Alright, if Ahren says so." Though she was still not too sure how to take all this. With happiness came bad news it seems. "Well I wouldn't miss them that much, not with the stuff they put me through. I wanted to hang them out over a cliff by their pants." Neryssa muttered looking away. "But now that I am older, I don't have to sneak anywhere. And I don't have to be around Nyl and Nylo. They can do whatever they want away from me." To this she put her foot down to. The one thing that Neryssa was happy about, that she was with her sister again and they could have fun together. Neryssa wanted to hear her sister play her flute again and hopefully everyone will be happy. There was the hope at least.

"Yep, yep." Nadiya tried to sound optimistic while her own heart was sinking. What if she was wrong? It had been years...even she was curious about how their mother appeared. Shaking away such thoughts the girl forced a smile on her face.
"Sibling love alright." Nadiya laughed quietly, "But trust me I know. I had to chase after them a few times in the past, myself." All the trouble she had while helping to raise her younger siblings was amusing to her now - truly the girl was feeling rather nostalgic the more that they talked about these things. It was a strange nostalgia, one both happy and sad for her.
"Well, sounds like we just need a good picnic or something to catch up with." Nadiya finally commented as she stared at the evening sky above them, "Could go for a nice swim and some of those homemade snacks that I haven't had in forever." The Matori glanced over towards her sibling with a small grin, "What do you think? I need something relaxing after all this traveling after all."

Neryssa waved off the notion of her brothers being trouble makers, Back then, she wasn't any better then they were. She cause trouble and ran from her elders, sometimes faster then her brothers. Even for being the middle born of the triplets. Thinking back to those times, it made her shudder to how much trouble the lot of them go. "We all were trouble when we were younger." She said with a bit of a shrug. "So have you gotten better with your flute? Besides using it as a weapon?"Neryssa had noticed that Nadiya had her flute in hand. Had she come running aiming to beat someone up with it? She just hoped that nothing would happen to the item if she did use it as we weapon, it certainly would cause a headache. Neryssa hadn't done much for her own dreams, her one goal was to find Nadiya and that was now.. Done.

Nadiya chuckled, "Yes, yes you were." The Matori glanced over at Neryssa and grinned, "And yes I have. I actually play quite a few instruments now. I also have a knack for stories - as I hope you remember." The woman scratched the back of her neck sheepishly, "I do enjoy a good ballad here and there as well." Forcing a small smile the woman glanced over to her sister, "What about you? Any knack for something yet?" She remembered that even as a youngling her sister had enjoyed bouncing around on her feet to music, but who knew? It had been over a year so perhaps a lot had changed, "It's been so long that even I don't know what to think about everything." She admitted lightly, "Save for what Ahren has told me I have missed out on a lot, haven't I?"

"Yes, I remember, but back then you weren't the best. I suppose time grants everyone time to learn and get better." Neryssa nodded as she shifted a little as the critter on her back seemed to settle. "I haven't gotten to really do too much, mostly helped around the house and tried keeping Nyl and Nylo out of trouble." She frowned at the thought. "The moments I could get alone, it was always trying to get away. Or Hiding in the spot you always played music. I still dance, some, but not as I used to."She looked away as if she was trying to avoid something. Really she didn't know what to do with her life now, she had wanted to be a dancer for the longest time. But with the absence of music to dance to, things started to slip away and she wasn't sure anymore. She wanted to dance, but... It just didn't feel the same these days, she was in a funk. One she didn't know how to get out of. "Perhaps now that you are coming home, things will change." She smiled back at her sister, "But first, Lets get to somewhere that is not in the middle of some bushes? I'm starving."

"Ah, well I suppose I should work on fixing that." Nadiya replied quietly. She truly felt awful about how her absence had affected her family. She had been selfish, so selfish to just leave like that. Forcing a smile the Matori glanced to her sister, "Well let's get home and we can go from there. I heard that there's even a big market coming up in the next few months. Maybe we can go with Ahren to that."
Nadiya nodded and reached for her sister's hand, "Let's go find Ahren and get some food." They could go eat, sleep, and then finish going towards home in the morning. It was a thought that made her stomach flutter from nerves, but at least with her sister by her side Nadiya felt a bit more at ease with the world.
