Snowflake paused at Sapphire's words and looked around. They were meeting trouble already? She knew she shouldn't be surprised, but it was very troubling. Maybe with the blizzard frozen, they could easily see whoever was coming.
"Don't worry, Princess," Harmony said in a low voice. "We won't let them get to you." She was already allowing herself to transform into her dragon form. She enjoyed her dragon form and she found it to be very powerful.
Then, from a distance further away, a fireball formed out from behind a mound of snow and went hurdling towards the princess.

Melody, already in her dragon form, quickly flew in front of the princess and flapped her mighty wings, not just to put out the fireball, but to form a protective storm cloud.
Hopefully it would be enough to stop the fire.

Snowflake screamed in fright and ducked behind Melody and Harmony. The fireball was not put out, but Melody's wind was enough to direct it off course. The snow instantly melted where it hit, burning a hole straight through the ground. Then, from behind the snow mound, ten fire imps jumped out and started charging towards them in anger.
"Get ready," Harmony warned the others, puffing herself out to look fierce.

Weston, who was almost always ready, floated forward.
He threw his hands up in the air, then threw them to the ground and a wave of icicles raced towards the imps, knocking three or four of them off their feet.
Then he threw up an ice wall. He knew it would not hold back the imps, but perhaps it would give his companions enough time to set up their own attacks.

Two imps evaporated immediately from Weston's attack, and the others scattered, rushing at the other Skylanders, thinking they would be less scary than Weston.
Harmony blasted her light at the two charging towards her, and as they were blinded, she hit them again with another strike. They also evaporated without a cry.

Ruby stood next to Snowflake, making sure none of the imp's attacks got through.
Summoning her gauntlet, she blocked a fire arrow that was shot at them. Growling, she threw it back at the archer, skewering it.

Sapphire stood close to the princess, making sure that none of the imps got close to her. She was never much of a fighter herself, but she would defend herself if pushed to do so. She was so busy defending the princess, that she didn't even see one of the fire imps until it pounced on her.
"Ruby! Help!" Sapphire shouted as it dragged her to the ground, trying to scratch at her face.

Hearing Sapphire's cry, Ruby gasped and leaped over the imp she had been beating into a pulp, and tackled the imp on Sapphire. She pounded it into the ground, then kicked it away.
Making sure the princess was still okay, Ruby quickly went over to Sapphire and crouched next to her.
"Are you okay?" she asked, worried, "You're not hurt, are you?"

Sapphire looked up to see Ruby looking down at her, concerned. She caught her breath and slowly stood up.
"Thank you Ruby, I'm alright now," she replied, regaining her composure. "Now go defeat the rest of those imps."

Weston stood back to back with Melody, fighting off the imps with his ice powers.
As Slam Bam, his powers only increased, as he trapped some imps in ice, then used his strong ice arms to smash them into pieces.
He turned briefly to Melody to make sure she was still ok.

Melody had fully transformed into her dragon form, shooting rainbows from her horn, and storm clouds from her wings.
Spotting an imp trying to come up on a blind spot, she charged over, blasting it with her horn. She turned back to give Weston a look telling him she was ok.

Ruby stood by Sapphire now, making sure none of the imps got through. She caught one of the last ones and beat it into a pulp.
She liked doing that.
"Are there any more?" she asked her companions.

Harmony looked around carefully before turning to the others.
"I don't think so," she replied. "I think we're in the clear for now."
"Thank you, Skylanders," Princess Snowflake said. "I know it must be a burden on you to escort me around like this. But I must have peace return to my kingdom!"

Weston floated over to the princess and smiled warmly at her.
"It's no burden at all, your highness," he assured her, "Now let's get you to the Fire Kingdom!"
Without any warning, Weston scooped Snowflake up in his arms and started carrying her, completely oblivious to Melody's hostile glares.

And Melody was, indeed, glaring at Weston.
She floated behind the group, keeping watch for any imps that might have been waiting to attack.
