Jerami's antennae twitched a bit at his sister's comment that that the love between their mothers was considered a 'bad' thing by some. That wasn't something that he liked the sound of, not really. It meant that to be 'good' would be to marry another Alkidike and follow their path, right? Would that mean that if he'd followed the path of Aisha then they would want him to marry one of them as well? A thought that had him shaking his head so as not to think on it too hard. He didn't like where that line of thought was going after all.

Glancing at his sister as Shima came to sit next to him he gave a smile, then leaned into her, "I... did, still do... I want to be strong like you and Jhana are! I want to be able to keep up with the two of you even if you go to... well... scary places like you want to go to..." He didn't have any interest at all in the dead forest like Shima did but he would go with her if it meant keeping her safe from whatever scary monsters lived there. Well, at least that was what he wanted to do. What if he froze though? What if he wasn't brave enough to protect her?

At the mention that their mothers would be impressed with what he was going to do he gave a half shrug, "Ahh... maybe...?" He gave a little sigh before he murmured, "I was thinking of... of going to the Chibale Isles, to see Aisha one last time... I wanted to ask Momma to go too... but maybe it would be better if I went alone. That way I can talk to Aisha one last time without worrying about anyone else listening in. I can tell Momma when I get home..." He glanced at Shima and asked, "What do you think?" Best to seek all the advice he could since Shima seemed so willing to listen to his woes.

It was a confusing sort of life they lead wasn't it? Their mothers raised them to be good, but what was good was being determined by outside forces who did not include their mothers. It was all very confusing and just made Shima angry to be honest. If her brother wanted to wield magic why couldn't he? Honestly she didn't see the big whoop of having Aisha's blessing...though she would never admit that fact out loud, since ..well it was because of Aisha that they existed.

"Its not tthhhaaat scary. Even if momma says its a bad place I really want to see it for my own eyes." She managed with a small scowl, "And you'll be strong in your own way Jerami, I mean mommy wields magic and its pretty impressive! Why don't you talk to her if you worried about momma being upset?" Shima inquired as it would make sense to ask their earthling mother what to do about the mixed up feelings he had.

"Why don't I go with you to the isles? for moral support? I mean we can ask momma to come too but its up to you."

Jerami's antennae gave a little twitch before he said, "If Momma says it's a bad place then it must be a really bad place, huh?" The idea that there Alkidike mother might think something was bad made it pretty intimidating indeed. He didn't even want to think about it... though he couldn't really help it. Knowing that his sister wanted to go meant that he might end up there one day himself since he wanted to help her where he could.

"Huh? Maybe... I just don't want to be the cause of an argument between our mothers... so maybe I am a little unsure about talking to either of them about this? I guess I can't exactly hide it forever though, can I?" Especially if he started to carry an object of power around him be it a staff or otherwise. If he did they were sure to notice it.

As his sister suddenly offered to go with him to the Isles his eyes got a bit wide, "You'd go with me?" It was something that made him smile just a bit, his heart feeling a bit lighter at the offer. It really was kind of Shima, wasn't it? He gave a thoughtful hum and said, "I will think about it. It might be nice to have the company." Even if it wasn't his Momma it would still be nice to have someone along.

Shima gave a large grin, she often was the type to boast and rush into things before really thinking about the consequences but she would do anything for her siblings and if he needed her to go with him to Aisha then she would! To be honest she didn't find any strong urge to go visit the Isles, perhaps it was because of her mixed blood she felt out of place there amongst all the pure Alks, but she didn't want anyone teasing her brother either.

"Of course I'd come! I wouldn't want you going all by yourself! I am sure both momma and mommy would want someone to come with you." Shima stated with a nod of her head.

"When did you want to go? Soon? Next full moon?" Shima was started to get ahead of herself with excitement, but getting away from home was always something she enjoyed. Most times she felt a bit tied up at home, restrained. She loved their family but..she really wanted to have freedom.

Jerami's antennae gave a couple of twitches before he gave his sister a smile, "Thank you, Shima. That means a lot to me." Not going alone meant that he wouldn't be as intimidated by the entire journey. There was always that chance that he might wimp out at the end if he was alone after all. Shima was much braver then he was so going along with her would be nice. At the mention of when they would go he gave a humming sound, "Ahh... good question."

Shima mentioned them going 'soon' as soon as the next full moon in fact, which had his antennae bouncing even faster. That soon? That made him worry ever so slightly since it felt 'too soon' before he nodded his head, "S-Sure! We c-can go then." If Shima was going with him then he could definitely do this! Sure, it was going to be scary, but having her as back up would make this easier... or at least he really hoped that they would. At the very least he would have some back up if push came to shove.

Drawing her brother in for another hug she placed a kiss on the side of his temple,

"Don't worry! Everything will be okay, I will make sure it is." Shima promised boldly it was a bit of a claim to make, making such a promise that she couldn't guarantee to keep. But now she was curious to what it was that had tipped Jerami off to being able to use magic. Was it an urge? Did it just manifest?

"So how did you know you wanted to use magic? " She inquired as she released her brothers shoulder and looked at him with a large smile. Shima was a good sister even if she did foolish things.

"Thank you, Shima." He murmured, his antennae giving a bounce as he as given a hug from his sister. She was rather certain that things would be alright and he wanted to believe that to be so. As such he meant to believe her and follow her lead, if he did so then he would be able to get that final visit in with the Great Mother Aisha. That was something that would mean a lot to him so it was amazing that Shima would actually accompany him.

Glancing over at his sister as she asked him about how he knew he 'wanted to do magic' and he had to think about it. There was that part of him that wanted to say that he didn't want to do magic but he knew what she meant. He thought about it for a moment before he said, "It started to sort of... started popping up... knocking things over, causing me to spontaneously heal little wounds, stuff like that. It's nothing that I can quite control at the moment. It just... seems to happy."

Shima looked deep in thought for a moment, to have a skill like that constantly showing up when not wanted would be quite stressful. How would she handle it? It was something she had to ponder herself for a long moment. Probably not as well as Jerami was.

Looking to her brother she gave him a loving smile and a ruffle of his hair, "Don't feel like you need to worry alone. You have me..and Jhena...your never alone. You can always speak to either of us if you are worried, I don't want you getting worked up by yourself okay?" She reassured him before giving him a pat on the shoulder,

"Come on, I better get back before mother wonders where her spear went...I've been kinda borrowing it without her permission..." She admitted a bit embarrassed.

Giving a nod of his head as he was patted on the head Jerami said, "I will be sure to come to you and Jhana in the future if anything crops up." He thought on it for a moment before he added, "After our trip to Aisha I will see about talking with our mothers as well." Just in case after he confessed their Alkidike mother ended up upset with him for his choice... and because she might be duty bound to keep him from going near Aisha after she knew he was no longer following the path that would allow him near her.

He gave his sister a half smile for a moment... but the smile went instantly to shock as Shima suddenly told him that the spear she had with her belonged to their mother, "W-What? You t-took her spear? Yeah, we should p-probably get that back before she notices." He didn't want Shima to get in trouble for her eagerness to learn the spear after all.

Shima wasn't particular afraid of their mom, in fact it seemed like she was trying to pick fights with her as of late. Looking at the weapon she gave a shrug, although she didn't want things to get heated for the moment. She knew when to push and how far she could go at the moment.

" Yeah, I am sure I will get a 'talking to' ..." Shima chuckled with an eye roll, moving to stand up she helped her brother up onto his own feet.

"Lets go back together."
