"Let me begin by saying how apologetic I am to be sending this letter to you. I chose you to be a chairwoman of Bellris because I truly do believe you can be of help to the republic and to our people. I believe that you possess a certain spirit about you that is needed to be kind to the souls that you will govern. That being said, my choosing you was too abrupt and I am sorry my mistake has made the council take action against us. As of right now your position in the council is unrecognized by the government of Bellris and any action you take as a chairwoman to our council will be seen as illegal. If you do anything with the claim of the republic backing your own actions we will publicly deny any involvement in your actions and persecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

This all may sound bad, but it's only as safety precautions to protect our young government from making crucial mistakes at such a young age. If you don't mean harm to mine and your republic this news will come to no consequence to you, for this judging eye placed on you will surly pass. There is to be a meeting held soon to discuss with you what will happen next with your position, and until then I recommend keeping a low profile.

I am sorry Youkimi. I didn't mean for things to unfold like this, but since I was the man to bring you into this I am more than willing to defend you if trouble arises. Don't hesitate to rely on me if need be. After all I'm a knight of my word, and I swear to be by your side as a friend during hard times.

"I've sent a letter to Youkimi telling her that her position as a chairwoman in Bellris is not legally recognized, and I thought you should know this too. I say that because until this issue with Youkimi is sorted out our deal is on hold. I can not bring unwanted attention to me at this time and since you're truly a good friend to Youkimi, I can not be noticed sending hushed letters to her outside contacts. Trouble is already on my head for choosing to put faith in the two of you and I pray my faith was not misplaced. Until the next time we are all able to meet again I recommend not having too much contact with Youkimi, since you and I do not want her getting any unwanted attention as well.

"It has been far too long my love and I too wish greatly to hold you once again. Though I am not far along in my condition, our child is strong and has given me little rest some nights. Our safety however has been looked after, as I have been confined to the castle grounds these past days. I do however hope that Aldon will at the very least allow me to see the festival that starts tomorrow, but I have yet to speak with him about it. As for seeing him in person to ask for my hand, that alone brings me great joy. I think he will be swayed much easier with you being there in front of him, hearing the truth in your tone and seeing the love in your eyes.

"It has been quiet some time since our last letter my beloved, so I felt it was only fair I give you a prompt update on proceedings here. As I am sure you know already, my brother Aldon married the princess Elentiya yesterday. It was a lovely wedding and happy event for all of Zalto. Our child has grown strong and shall be here before we know it, though I had hoped to hear how the talks with Aldon had gone before worrying about his birth, but nothing has been said as of yet. Not a moment goes by however that I don't hope we will be wed. On a darker note though my love, I have been informed the trade route raids have been getting worse and have just heard of both the fires occurring within Bellris and the murder of the Ethian noble. I do hope that things between Ethe and Bellris don't come to war, as such would cause a great deal of strife for both peoples. Forgive me beloved I should be talking of happier things such as name idea's for our child perhaps. If I remember correctly you wished our son hold your father's name Leon, right? Any way I love you and miss you terribly Roland.

I know you told me not to reply my beloved, but I simply could not let you go about patrols without telling you the news. On this day at about two in the morning you became a father to healthy twin boys my love. I have named our older one after my father Arthur, and given him the full name of Arthur Percival. Our second born I have given the name Leon Hartwin after your father. Both boys will take on your surname once we have wed, but until then they shall have none. Worry not about plots against you, I don't not believe your sister would be so quick to strike after the loss of your younger sister. After all you are the only living sibling she has left to her, and as such I'm certain she holds you dear. Perhaps the thought of you betraying her was too much to bare and she simply wanted to make sure such a thing was not possible. For now though my love, focus on the joyous news I've just given you and take care during the patrols you are on. Again please forgive me for not listening to your warning my love, you simply needed to know of their birth and you had not given me another way to let you know. Please be safe my love, for I patiently await the day we finally wed and become one.

I am writing this to you in order to tell you that I have been informed of the Empresses offer, by the Empress herself, and find it agreeable as well. I also wished to tell you that Empress Evelyn and I are already speaking of some details, such as the wish for the Bellrisian and Zalton garments. She also suggested perhaps a ball after the ceremony. If there is anything else you would like my love, then please write promptly to let both her majesty and I know. The Empress, myself and your sons hope your sister is in better health as well.
