Then a Weedle string shotted Beck out of nowhere, leaping from a piece of corn to hit him with a Poison Sting. Beck blinked. That tickled. He smacked the bug type with a Gyro Ball and covered it with a Smog to give him and Allen time to walk away. By the time it faded, the Weedle couldn't see them at all anymore.

The Litwick Allen passed didn't try anything so he walked by without confronting it. He felt like he was already running out of time, so he wanted to hurry and find something cool. Anything that couldn't fit in his hands at least.

Another Weedle! Fantastic! Allen ignored it and continued to search for anything that looked cool. He had a fairy, a duck, and two balls of gas. Cmon.

A Shuppet this time around. He popped out in front of the duo and made a loud call before flying away back into the corn, giggling as it did so. Allen shuddered and continued- at least there weren't any clowns this time!

"Thank you," Keiko said when she was given three Safari Balls to work with After studying the areas to hunt in, Keiko decided to try for both sides A and B, and the main area wasn't very interesting for her. However, in order to get there, she had to wade through the Corn Maze, first.
Keiko opened Natalia's ball, allowing the little Natu to get some fresh air. If Keiko's suspicions were right, she wouldn't find anything interesting here, and this would be a great time to get Natalia some extra experience, as it was something the little bird rather needed.

The Pokemon Keiko and Natalia wound up finding, however, was one that Keiko was unfamiliar with. It took a scanning from her SNAG's Pokedex to realize what it was - a Skiddo. "I guess I could use a Grass-type," Keiko said to herself, "But Natalia -does- have a type advantage..."
Keiko nodded to Natalia. "Weaken it with Night Shade," Natalia complied, spread Ghost-type energy at the Skiddo with her wings. The Skiddo, however, pushed its vines against the negative energy of Night Shade and slapped Natalia out of the sky with a Vine Whip. the move didn't do much damage due to Skiddo's type disadvantage, but it did succeed in knocking Natalia flat on the ground.
Although Keiko tried to muscle past her shock to give an order, Natalia had plans of her own, Teleporting away from the Grass-type - into the sky.
This snapped Keiko out of it. "Good idea! Now, ram into it with Peck!"
Natalia dove straight down at Skiddo, Flying-type energy covering her beak. The Skiddo wasn't defenseless, however. It spit a seed up at its enemy that, once it made contact, entangled Natalia, trapping her wings in place. As much as this hurt, Natalia's beak was still covered in energy, and gravity was able to do the rest, as Natalia collided beak-first into Skiddo.
Once the dust cleared, Natalia, albeit still entangled, was standing up. Skiddo, however, was not.
"Good job, Natalia," Keiko said, reaching down to pick up the Flying-type. Natalia cooed upon feeling her trainer's embrace, and the two made their way to the Pumpkin Patch.

Keiko let Natalia out of her ball by the time she'd made it to the Pumpkin Patch. With no pokemon to feed Natalia's energy to, she hadn't taken any more damage from the seed, and by now, it had withered, allowing her to break free.
"I wonder what we'll find here," Keiko said as Natalia perched on her shoulder, letting out a coo of confidence.
((EDIT: Oooh, I meant to make it 1-50. Well... it did roll under 50, so... is this okay? Or should I re-roll?))

As Keiko and Natalia wandered through the patch, a big Bug-type Pokemon leapt in the air, landing in front of them. Having some experience of the wildlife of Johto, Keiko recognized this Pokemon - a Heracross.
"Ooh, this one's rare! Let's catch it, Natalia!" Keiko said. Natalia, eager to continue fighting, flew into the sky, intending to dive-bomb Heracross with another Peck. However, Heracross would have none of it, and after making sure which direction Natalia was coming from, it bathed its horn in Normal-type energy, pointing it directly at Natalia. The two collided, both being damaged by the other's attacks. Peck was four-times effective against Heracross, but the bug was significantly stronger than Natalia, and Horn Attack did significant damage to her.
"Oh, no!" Keiko gasped, fearful for her companion. But instead of tending to her aid right away, she decided to throw a Safari Ball at Heracross first, thinking that if it was caught, she had all the time in the world to tend to Natalia's wounds.

Keiko sighed in relief when Heracross stayed in the ball. She recalled Natalia first before claiming her capture, however. "Rest easy," Keiko sighed before grabbing the no-longer empty Safari Ball and making her way back to the starting area, returning the two Safari Balls given to her once she got there. She wouldn't need them, anymore.

"Oh cool a Zubat. Na." Allen shrugged as he walked by the bat. Shame there wasn't a Noibat in sight, he had always wanted to train that Kalos native Pokemon. He walked ahead with Beck. At this rate he wouldn't find anything but he supposed this was better than staring at the wall in his room back at the HQ.

Well, it wasn't a Noibat, but a Skiddo looked pretty cool. Allen saw it trying to jump and get an ear of corn so he figured he'd try and get the better of it with a sneak attack! Though he forgot to consider a grass type could probably smell the poison radiating from the Koffing beside him- and his chi signature probably didn't help either.
It caught their attention and bolted for deeper into the corn fields but Allen had already made a break for it. "Try and stop it with a Smokescreen!" Allen shouted, striking Beck with his bat like a baseball to send him whizzing past. The Koffing let out a stream of smoke as it flew by and the small goat stopped in their tracks once it was surrounded by smoke, seemingly trapped in a corner now.
The Skiddo turned around to face Allen and used Bulk Up in preparation for an attack. "Gyro Ball!" Allen ordered. Beck swung around and struck the grass type on the back of it's head and bounced into the air. It leapt up and the little ram rammed the Koffing back with a Take Down and landed with a crash. Allen jumped forward and swung his bat to channel a poisonous gas at the Skiddo. Still recuperating from it's self inflicted damage, the Skiddo breathed in the gas and broke into a fit of coughing. Poisoned.
"Okay, Gyro Ball again!" Allen said one last time.
Beck struck the Skiddo again on it's side and Allen threw his first Safari Ball at the Pokemon.

"Whoo!" Allen threw his arms up in the air as he ran forward and scooped up the Safari Ball. He caught Skiddo! Even if he had no idea what to do with it, apparently he had one now! But what would he name it? It wasn't as much of a trouble maker as Steve was so a really savage name wouldn't suit it...
Smitty popped out of his Pokeball to give his trainer a spook- mainly by putting himself over Allen's head where he couldn't breathe. Once that was done (and Allen wasn't dying), Smitty decided to write a name in the dirt with a stick he had put in his mouth. He wouldn't give the reason- even this was stretching it- but one name stood out with the undead and it happened to be one belonging to a goat.
"Asriel?" Allen questioned. If Smitty could shrug, he would have. "Sure, that works I guess." He recalled the Gastly and walked back to the center with Beck to return the remaining Safari Balls. Man he really needed to buy more Pokeballs, he was down to his last one!

Heavy feet would trudge around the pumpkin patch as the zombified Kain walks about in his restrained fashion. However as being told that you are suppose to dress up for this time of the year, Kain is wearing a jack-o-lantern on his head producing the gruesome maroon glow. along for the trip Ioch his trusty blood colored sword floats next to him keeping its master safe.

A brown sandshrew would pop out of the fresh cut soil looking up at the Halloween incarnate Kain. The shrew would quickly scurried away from the frightful pare walking towards it hole.
"Timid.... Wasteful" Kain would echo from beneath his pumpkin.
