Uzumati flinched at the touch before a goofy grin slowly spread over his features. Was he really doing this? Was it truly possible? The boy bit his bottom lip before staring at the 'aaah' thing he had just named. Not like it was fully stringing a word together, but still any start was better than none.

The next challenge made him frown, "Aaaaah." He managed again before nodding his head forward to try and speak the other, "B-Booeaoo?" It was close right? He blinked and looked towards her sheepishly.

Ugh, why couldn't close be close enough? His forehead creased in concentration as his mouth struggled to work. Life was so much simpler if he just growled or fought with his fists rather than trying to whole talk thing. Still, he managed to get the 'b' sound out - though it definitely sounded more of a 'bah' at times. His throat was just so rough and his voice so scratchy and deep that it was hard to do a lilt in any letter sound.

"Sooo...seeee?" He questioned tilting his head in confusion. It was a noise right? What else could it be? Uzumati stared at her as he tried to puzzle out the question before simply shaking his head. He barely knew "A'" and "B" so how could he know of this sea?
