"I don't know how long I can wait then." Talisia warned. Perhaps it was just her being bitter, but the girl didn't want him to think that she was going to be happy about this! Heroic intentions or not this was definitely not what she wanted. Always a fool. She thought with a bitter smile. Weren't they ever going to realize all she wanted was just for them to be together?

No one had to be amazingly powerful or strong - as long as they relied on each other then they could make it, but she couldn't seem to get that through to either mage. "Don't drag your feet when you go." She finally stated after rubbing her eyes, "If you're going to leave me here then you better walk with your head held high - don't you dare look back either." Her bi-colored gaze studied him intently and despite the firmness of her voice it was obvious that there was a tremble in her gaze, "I won't be here much longer, but if fate will allow it then our paths will cross again in the future. I - I won't beg you to stay." She shook her head, "I won't have you be miserable if this is what you truly feel is what you need to do, but don't you dare think that it'll be surprising to see that I may have changed too if we don't meet again for many moons. You made your choice...and if you are going to stick to it then leave."

Her own heart was breaking as she said the shattered words, "So go and take care then, Eresin."

Talisia felt her breath hitch at the confession. Out of all times why did it have to be now? Then again if they had realized their feelings earlier then perhaps they wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. Be strong, Talisia. She took a breath and shook her head slowly, "Then go. Who knows? I'm sure once you've changed you may even feel differently. Just go do what you feel is necessary, okay? I'll....try to wait a little. But not forever, so you better hurry." She protested sharply before averting her gaze from him with a light flush on her cheeks.

"Just be safe, Eresin and go."

Talisia just stared numbly as Eresin walked away. Her lips still felt his warm and while one hand gently cradled the parting gift another raised to gently run a finger along her lips. He kissed her and then just left like that? The hybrid found herself sitting down on the ground in shock. Look back, please look back. Don't go... She knew she had told him not to look back or to come back, but it still broke her heart to just watch him walk away.

"If you were trying to look cool then you didn't." She protested quietly as she glanced down to the ice rose that she cradled in her hands, "Fool." Talisia muttered while the first of the tears started to slip down her face. That was that then. He was gone - possibly even forever - and she was once more alone. Completely and utterly alone. Even if it wasn't completely true Talisia still felt as if a part of herself had been ripped out in that parting. He hadn't even allowed me to comfort him. Shouldn't they have mourned together at least for a little bit? The hybrid shook her head slowly. That was just her hope to spend just a little more time with him.

Smiling sadly Talisia just glanced down and ran a finger along the delicate petals of the flower he had given her. Goodbye my friend...until we meet again. They would right? Talisia closed her eyes against the sobs that left her body. He would find her again. She just had to believe in him....she just had to believe that even when she left this place in a few days that he would be able to trace her back to Zena. She could only pray that would be so...
