She shook her head. "Well, you definitely seem comfortable in this place anyway. Well, more comfortable than I am right now. I hope I never have to deal with an entire week here at once, but I'd like to get to know it better since I am obviously going to be pulled here like it or not." She shrugged and gave a side smile.
"But I'll be careful. Or try to be anyway." A finger scratched at her nose. "I won't lie and say that I tend to get myself into more trouble than I intend to." A bashful look his way was turned towards the archway that Jeremiah had gestured to.
She stood there and squinted her eyes. Doing her best to try and see this divide that he could obviously see, but nothing changed. She continued to see the drab, rainy world she was surrounded by.
"There's no need to show off, you know." She teased playfully as she reached to take his card. She coolness of the paper didn't go unnoticed but she didn't remark on it. Instead she looked the card over once.
A detective. I wonder if he knows Shun? That wasn't necessarily important now though, so she tucked the card into her purse for safe keeping. She'd need to add that to her phone.
"Perfect! Seeing as I don't have a card of my own, I'll toss you a text message so you have my number. Just in case. It can't be bad to be able to get in contact with people, right?" Not that she expected him to actually
need to contact her, but she would feel better knowing that he had hers number as well.
"Thank you! Not just for helping me with those birds and getting me out, but for answering some of my questions too. This whole Other Ashdown thing is still so new and, I'll be frank, fascinatingly scary." She chuckled softly. "But I am really intrigued by it, especially now that I have something to go off of."
Turning from Jeremiah she looked at the Archway again. "Alright. Well, you take care!" She offered him another smile before walking towards the archway. One moment she was in the dreary, muted world of Other Ashdown and the next she was faced with the brighter, more active world she was use to.
She paused and glanced behind her, but couldn't see a trace of Other Ashdown or Jeremiah. "That's so weird." She said softly to herself before turning to reorient herself and begin the trekk home.
