Tind? Shea would have to look at a map of the wind territory. Honestly he didn't know much about it. Or of any land beyond his own. So he sighed and nodded his head.
When Jak seemed to offer vague praise of the man Shea shot him a glare. "For a decent man he sure lacks the decency to let his sister know he lives." Of course he couldn't do that now. She was gone. Shea was all that remained of her. Still, it was only right that Uquin visit her grave. "Did he mention traveling?"

“Oh, I don’t know if the man himself is decent,” Jakkoa answered, one eyebrow raising in partial amusement at the boy’s readiness to be combative on the topic. “Only that he’s made enough of a name for himself that I suspect he makes a solidly livable income through his work. Whatever the quality or his disposition…” Jak shrugged. “I couldn’t say with nearly as much certainty.”
The other question, at least, was simple to manage.
“He was traveling at the time, yes,” Jak said, “and it seemed like something he was very accustomed to, moving from one village to the next up the mountains and potentially even into Zena, though I can’t say I’d know his route personally. We only spoke while I aided him in harvesting some more difficult to handle materials. And all of this was weeks ago. Are you intending to go after him immediately?”

That retched man better not go into the mountains of Zena! Shea didn't like the cold! "Yes, I plan to go after him now." Well, maybe not right now but after he got some supplies to get him to the border. He'd need to get a map of Sauti when he reached a town there so that he would be better able to navigate it.
"You have been very helpful, Jakkoa." Shea nodded his head and turned his head to look around. Stores were still not open so he would need to wait until he could buy anything. It was frustrating to know that he was so close to setting off and yet he had to sit idle.

“Mm.” Jakkoa smiled. “Remember that if we meet again,” he said.
It was as close to ‘You’re welcome’ as the boy would get, because before Jakkoa could say any more — the boy looked near ready to be on his way anyway — a bell chimed over the door of the shop he had seated himself outside of. An older, still-drowsy-looking woman poked her head out, squinting from under the folds of her eyelids at Shea, and then Jakkoa—and Jakkoa, and Jakkoa, her face and all its wrinkles somehow seeming to scrunch up even more the longer she looked. Jak could tell it would be a warm encounter.
“Who—”
He stood, smiling and holding out a hand. “Good morning, I am Jakkoa Vayle, and I heard you are among the most reknowned and talented physicians this town has ever seen.” His gaze flicked in the pause after his words towards Shea. “I do wish you luck on your journey.”
“You…” The woman shook an unimpressed finger at him. “Are a colorful little thing aren’t you? Did you come to sell somethin’? ‘Cause we ain’t buyin’.”

He nodded his head and was going to say something else but someone came out of the shop that the hybrid had been waiting in front of. Shea looked at the woman, taking a step back, then stared at Jakkoa. When he was given a final send off he gave a stiff nod as a thanks then turned to walk away. As he heard the woman call Jak colorful he wanted to laugh and flinch at the same time. Ah well, let the blonde deal with it on his own.
A gruff goodbye was muttered and he half waved before he headed toward a general store to resupply.
