Now there was an idea, although -- Davor had sort of lost track of where camp was. Sure he could find it once reorienting himself, but that was a bit hard to do at the moment, the crab still flailing its horrible limbs at them. Still, he'd noticed the same thing Ernst had: it seemed much less steady on its legs, slowing its advance.
Throwing caution to the wind, Davor once again charged at an opening, cracking his hammer into the crab's hard shell, sending it skittering and down, falling flat, its spindly legs twitching but hey, no longer stabbing at them. He watched it, not quite yet letting his guard down, but... oh s**t he hadn't killed it had he...?
Weapon: War-Hammer HP: 25/50 DMG: 5 Crab HP: 3/60
Character Name:Davor Kozel Brief description of character: A bear of a man in both stature and apparent dexterity in tree-climbing, Davor is really more like a teddy than a grizzly once you get him talking. Just, good luck with that.
The fight seemed to have left the crab and Briiva unstrung her bow, placing it to the side as she tried to help it settle back down. As she was trying to steady the creature, she noticed a flower near one of the crabs legs. She carefully picked it up, handing it to Arhtur to stow for further investigation. "It seems alive to me! we'll probably want to be careful getting it back to camp though.
Ernst shook his head as it fell. With any luck, once it was conscious or struggling less, it would understand that - they were just trying to help? "The bigger problem is probably - transporting it there?" Ernst looked from the crab to the group. That thing's reach was about twelve feet long. But, he supposed he could - "I'll take the abdomen," he decided. He didn't spend any time sweeping the area, just lifting the spider crab's main body as much as he could. He could hold it in the air, but just barely, and it was easier if he tipped it so that the claws touched the ground. The other two would probably need to help him.
"Camp's back that way, right?" He indicated a direction with his chin.

Well, the others didn't seem to be freaking out. Briiva sounded quite sure, even, and Ernst was already being the responsible one. It was good to know that he hadn't indeed just killed a Chosen-turned-thing, a fate even worse than just being turned. Dutifully, Davor moved to help Ernst, before noticing a flower just as his fellow Hephaestus Chosen had. A diversion, for the moment, as he plucked it -- then, yes. As much as they creeped him out, Davor grabbed some of the legs in his free hand.
He wasn't exactly sure where camp was, no, but hey. Someone would pick a direction and start walking eventually, right?
