Jeremiah let out a huff when the other slipped away but went easily. Mostly because he was focused on trying to do what the other did for him. Not that it worked the same but he tried regardless to try and make the other
feel at least through his actions his attempt at a calm, soothing presence.
When he was close enough he was brushing a kiss against Algie's forehead, arm wrapping around him and pulling him close. "I know, precious." His hand smoothed along the side of his face, thumb brushing right below his eye.
"We should look into a honeymoon or a shut-in with no one else to bother us." Push away the world and let it just be them for a little while. Recharge and find their footing once more. Blue-green eyes focused on
too green eyes.
"I love you, Algie." Then he was leaning forward to whisper part of his vows again to the other man because he did not know what else to say, because words sometimes failed him, because in moments like this he felt like the reminder was a good thing.
The world could burn and Jeremiah would be there to support him even if they were both tired.
