"Woah, slow down drama llama," she said, giving a small laugh. "You got a good point. I don't really know what m'gonna do when we get to the enemy or whatever. M'not out fer blood or nothin'. I just wanna keep me and my own safe- I think yer probably on the same page there at least yeah?"
She scooted her second chair closer to adjust her footrest. "Anyways, you go dance with the centipede monsters in the rain or whatevs. Yer not gonna get complaints from me."

Juniper sighed. "Sorry." She apologized. "I tend to get fired up a bit too quickly about things when I strong passion or opinion about them." She shrugged. "But you're right, I want people to be safe. I mean, don't get me wrong, if someone does something stupid I expect Karma to bite them in the a**, but I don't have any want to see anyone killed." A smile cracked the corners of Juniper's mouth. "Right. I'll make sure to play them a song on my violin while I dance with them." She winked. "Ah well, I suppose I can't blame you for not wanting to get involved. Not after the s**t that happened at the ball. I suppose I am just a bit masochistic in that sense."

"Passion's ********' sexy," Chel said, shooting the girl a double pistols winky face (sans snapping of course, as that would trigger her nerf dart ability ... the woes of being magical).
She thought they were maybe running in circles; it seemed like they both wanted the same things, just in different ways. Chel would stick her finger in anyone's face regardless of how powerful they were, but she also didn't believe in starting a fuss for no reason.
"Naw, people tell me I got a bleeding heart- I don't like that s**t but I'll tackle whoever t'keep people safe and s**t. I don't really think s**t through." Who had time to think when you could just do?

Juniper grinned at Chel. The woman was certainly very forward with her flirting. Not that Juniper minded really. In fact, it was sort of nice for a change of pace. "Welp, might as well try and accept the label given to you as I doubt people are just saying it for shits and giggles." She smiled, and reached down to pull out her laptop. She glanced under the table for an outlet and grinned in success. She plugged in the cord, settled the machine in front of her, closed, and plugged it in. "You sound a lot like me in the whole 'don't think s**t through' part." She commented. "I tend to walk right into a mess without realizing it and I swear, I make it worse more often than not. You'd think I would learn my lesson, but nah." She shrugged. "It's just who I am. At least we two bleeding hearts can agree on the 'keeping people safe' thing." She winked as she leaned forward onto the table, elbows just in front of her laptop.

If there was one thing Chel didn't do, it was accept labels.
"What's the laptop for?" she asked, venturing that conversation as being safer than the one Juniper was going down.

Jumpers eyes drifted down to her old laptop at Chel's question. "I don't have Internet at my apartment. So I figured I'd come down here and leech off the shops for a little while since it's offered. " She shrugged. "It's about the only way I can keep up with news from time to time. My cellphone only had the bare minimum of data so this is really my only way to peruse threw net. " It wasn't a bad deal, having to come to the coffee shop to get Internet access. It wasn't like she had much time to sit and peruse articles, forums or whatever else she could find. Really, it had opened her up to not being so bound by technology. "Your cousins code is getting cold Iam sure. He may have to nuke it when you get home. " Juniper teased as she leaned back in her chair. She didn't necessarily want Chel to leave, but the woman had come to run an errand, and Jumpers time was limited. There were other errands to run, a cat to feed, and possibly some busking.

"Money's a b***h, I got you," Chel said shortly. She was glad her cousin paid for all the adult responsibility things like that. That, and Chel didn't really depend on internet much in the first place.
She looked down at her coffee then back to Juniper. "Well s**t blondie, you want me gone just say so." She gave a chuckle and stood up from her seat. "Nice seein' you."

Juniper's eyes went a bit wide. "I didn't mean it that way." She said apologetically. "I just know, if I had asked someone to get me a drink and it came back cold I'd be a bit miffed." She shrugged. Chel got up despite the fact, so Jun hopped up out of her seat as well. Being a touchy-feely sort of person so was, she didn't really think much about tossing a small hug upon the other woman. "It was great to see you again and chat! We should try and plan a ladies night or something in the future. I can only imagine the sorts of trouble we could get ourselves into." She laughed. "Take care of yourself though...Oh, here's hold on a sec." Juniper bent down and rummaged in her bag before pulling out a notebook. She flipped it open to a random empty page, fished a pen out of the front pocket of the bag, and wrote down her number before passing it off to Chel. "For planning our night out, or if you need me for anything."

She gave a laugh because she hadn't really been offended, just amused. People tended to not say what they were thinking; Chel's thoughts always spilled out of her mouth regardless. These were things she thought as she hugged Juniper.
"s**t I come to get coffee an' I get a pretty lady's digits." She laughed back and snatched the paper, but didn't bother to return her own number because Chel was that brand of a*****e.
"I'll put in a good word fer you with Shun. Sure he'll warm up to you eventually." He wouldn't but it was a nice thing to say. "Have fun with your computer games or whatever." She gave a short wave and was out the door again.
