As much as Phoenix was already in a good mood, the light-hearted banter with his guests had elevated his spirits all the more. He'd only just met them, but he was already looking forward to meeting up at a less hectic time.
"Well, on the topic of food it shouldn't be much longer before yours comes out." And with as busy as it was getting, it was starting to look like maybe they'd need some help in the kitchen to begin with. He honestly loved days like this. There was little in the way of paperwork and phone calls, so he got to spend his time in the kitchen. That was where he liked to be.
"I should definitely be getting out of your hair so you can enjoy your meal!" There was regret in his tone, but unfortunately he had to keep to his priorities.
