"Oooo, you could break through the clouds while holding out your tongue like you do when it snows so you can taste it. I bet they taste like cotton candy sno-cones." Aurelia mused as she listened to him, the both of them in that dream world of seeing themselves swimming through the sky. She craned her head back a little more while still lying on the ground to look at Meadow as he asked what stars tasted like, smiling as he said he'd like to pick them like apples. "Hmmm....I bet stars taste all sparkly like soda. What if they were all different flavors depending on what color they were? I bet you actually could pick the stars off of clusters like apples, too."

Aurelia immediately perked up when he asked if she wanted to go swimming, smiling widely as her tail wiggled happily. "Swimming sounds great! I wanna try to do a swan dive!" Even if they went to a fountain, Aurelia had no idea what a proper swan dive looked like yet and would probably just jump in like she always did. She jumped up to her feet and was already offering a hand to help Meadow up, ready to go wherever he wanted to so they could get wet and wash the mud off. The mud actually felt pretty good on her skin but she still had her salve in her pocket if she started to get dry. It was her favorite smell; chamomile.

Aurelia helped lift him to his feet as he described what he thought clouds tasted like. Plain sugar? That could be fine....but the clouds were so fluffy....and wasn't cotton candy made out of sugar? Maybe his idea made more sense. She looked at him curiously, tilting her head a bit as he mused that stars might taste like potatoes or turnips. "Potato stars wouldn't be so bad. You could harvest them and make mashed star potatoes with lots of butter and seasoning." She reasoned, thinking a bit before she nodded in agreement with his last statement. "I bet you're right, though; it probably tastes like something out of this world." She couldn't help but giggle for a bit at her bad attempt at a joke. Hey, at least she tried.

'No, silly! A swan dive is when you spread your arms out like wings and dive gracefully like a bird in flight!" Aurelia smield as he mentioned going to a deep fountain and she happily followed him, skipping along behind him as he marched. When they did reach the fountain, she climbed up onto the edge and holding her arms out to her sides like she wanted to fly....but then she just fell forward and flopped onto her belly on the water with a rather loud slap and splash. She let herself sink in a cloud of wispy mud before she wiggled down into the water and breach the surface. Her face was slightly red from the impact. "Hehe, that stung a little. It makes my tummy all funny feeling."

Aurelia didn't know how deep the water actually was and, a brief moment of fear, decided to do a belly flop instead (and she wasn't about to admit that she had forgotten how to do a proper swan dive anyway.) When she saw Meadow laughing hard at her silly display, she felt all bubbly inside and joined with her own giggles. Perhaps there was a part of her that, in that moment where fear mdae her change her mind, she had also decided to do it just to be funny? Who could say? "Weird is fun!" She exclaimed as he climbed up and told her to watch out. She swam back a bit to make room just as he jumped into his cannon ball, soon blinded for a moment by the huge splash. It didn't stop her from laughing, even as she couldn't see where he was.....but she could definitely feel where he was when he grabbed her tail.

"Eeek!" She squealed when she was grabbed, already wondering if he could hold onto her rubbery skin. "Oh I'm gonna get you!" And with that declaration, she dove down into the water with the intent to slip out of his grip. She didn't know if she could shake him or not, but even if he managed to hold on she would try to swim around so she could grab onto his tail and even the odds. Aurelia hadn't stopped laughing even when submerged, bubbles escaping with every giggle.

She may have been slippery but Meadow was quick! His agile movements dodged most of her attempts to catch him but Aurelia didn't stop trying, laughing the whole time. She was a bit surprised when he turned and swam right at her but she met with him, her hands out to grasp those of her new friend. If he followed her lead, she would try to spin them in a circle as if they were dancing beneath the water's surface. She knew she'd have to come up for air soon but she was just having so much fun!

The stream of bubbles blown into her face felt funny in a tickly sort of way, Aurelia answering a sudden silly urge to bite at the bubbles before they floated away from her, jaw clacking with each chomp given. She felt him tugging her hands as he was moving up to the surface, following him without a single sense of resistancel; they both needed air, after all (well, he needed it less than she did, but still!)

Deep breaths were taken simultaneously, Aurelia unable to hold back a little fit of giggles. She was having so much fun with Meadow and it seemed that he was enjoying it as much as she was. She grinned when she saw him with only his nose and eyes peeking from the surface of the water, swimming around him in backwards circles while bobbing slightly. She was making little barking sounds that were supposed to mimic those given by sealpups, clapping her hands together over the surface of the water as though they were her flippers and scattering splashes of water with each clap. Yes, she was absolutely weird and kooky....but she liked it and she liked Meadow and she liked playing with him.

Aurelia giggled at his bubbles and when the water was spat at her, sending a light wave of water towards him in response. The notion that he wanted to play with her every day made her happy enough that her frills could have wiggled but that was tempered when he brought up that it was getting late. She glanced up at the sky, seeing that it was changing colors now that the hours were getting later, and the Nixie pouted a bit. " Yeah, getting sick wouldn't be good.....then we couldn't play all the time." She was already swimming to the fountain's edge to pull herself up and sit on it, feet stil lin the water, while she wrung out her shirt a little. "I will! Gabby and Gozu will be so stoked to meet you." She would hold a hand out to him to help him out of the fountain if he needed it, then hop down to the ground and wring out more water from her shorts. She would wait for Meadow to get out of the fountain and grab his things, wanting to head back inside together until they had to go their separate ways. Aurelia couldn't wait to tell Gabby and Gozu all about her new friend.
